The best restaurant in this area for nonveg food. Especially crab prawns and mutton are something unique here and definitely you can try it out.Its located in the perfect place with huge parking. Price is little high but worth for its money.If you are a nonveg foodie, definitely you can try a lot here....

We ordered 2mutton biriyani and 1 chicken biriyani ,tandoori ,prawn thokku and veg fried rice .biryani tasted so good with a twist of chettinadu touch in it .Meat were cooked really well ,it was juicy and Tendery .tandoori was also juicy with good amount of Spices .especially do try prawn thokku .biriyani with prawn thokku was top notch combo .they also served Raita and brinjal thokku and sweet which went well with the biriyani and finally fried rice tasted good too which was unexpected in a Chettinadu hotel. I also recommend you all to try out their meals .we went on sunday and yes the place was Crowded but the Management did their best to manage and i also loved their service .price is little pricey but you wont Regret .

Good place to have dinner. The restaurant is maintained well and follow the COVID safety guidelines . Parotta is a must try dish here. They have varieties of dishes. We started with mutton bone soup, the taste was too good and spicy enough.Mutton biriyani tasted good, again it tasted like the Chennai type biriyani. We asked for some spl food and we saw sizzlers, we ordered the samal lemon fish sizzlers, surprisingly the taste was out of the world, spices and masala was marinated well and the fish tasted too good. The fish was fresh. My suggestion is try sea food at this place. Kothu parotta tasted too good. White kurma (vella kurma) tasted too good. Price is reasonable for the quantity they serve. Service is too good and courteous enough. They have good space for car parking. Avoid during weekends as there might be crowded. If you are looking for a good non-veg restaurant, then give a try.

It is actually very good place for proper Chettinad style resturant. The dishes ate actually Stored in proper clay pot materials and served to u whenever it is required. This was our first time at Hotel Virudhunagar. We were very unhappy with the service and attitude at the restaurant. The food took too long to come and it was only mediocre in taste. Even by the end of our meal, one of the dishes we ordered didnt come. The restaurant was hot and stuff, despite them claiming that they have turned the AC on. Overall, a sad waste of a Sunday afternoon.

Worst hotel. Prices are very high for the quantity they serve. Got Nattu kozhi fry for Rs.266 and there were only 3 tiny pieces. Not recommended for value seeking people.
