Great and old ayyappa temple at Ambattur.neatly maintained and good divotional place

Very old and famous temple in Ambattur locality near to Ambattur railway station on the way to Ambattur market. there are Ayyappan Sannidhi and Guruvayurappan sannidhi. apart from that you have Navagraha Samiti also. mostly all the staff are Malayalees and perform their daily rituals with utmost dedication. its nice place to visit and get gods blessing. usually I wear Mala there and take blessings of Lord Ayyappa . Swami Saranam.

Popular with local devotees, this temple has grown from a prayer hall like set up to the current status. Addition of Krishnan garbagraha took place around 7 years ago. This temple is run in traditional Kerala style with namboodiris in attendance. During the season, devotees proceeding to Sabari Mala throng this place and take their vow and wear the Mala here. Irumudi kattu is also carried out here.
