Never had such a bad experience in 5 star hotel. Condition of the rooms are poor. Condition of the bathrooms are poor. The whole management will try to cheat you. We went as a group and they charged us bills which were already paid. If i had an option to put 0/10 i would have done that. 100% not recommendable for this price. You will find better place to stay. Stay safe guys

In a few words, it was an underwhelming experience.Being on a business trip, the expectation from a hotel in a business zone is that everything is taken care of effortlessly. However, the place was understaffed and my schedule was shaken consequently. Of course my itinerary was planned by the travel department so the coordination was a little shaky. One good thing was the view from the room, that was pretty good.Check-in Experience: I got delayed due to the lack of room availability. In the staffs defense, the check-in time was 3 and I was trying to get a room a couple of hours early. If it was a leisure trip the wait wouldnt have mattered much, but despite my efforts to sensitize the need for me to get a room to freshen up a leave for a meeting, I met a dead end. I had to wait till a room that was being cleaned was ready for occupancy. In this case my expectation is that any available room should be assigned. Yes, there were several rooms available, probably different category but probably in the same price range.House Keeping : I am not sure if this was done thoroughly with the Check-in staff/manager pushing the staff to get the room ready for me. The sheets on the bed definitely didnt feel fresh or ironed.Buffet Lunch: Extremely polite staff. However the lunch was hardly a buffet for the price charged.Bathroom Amenities: They were missing shaving kits, it was available on request. Come on, for a business visit you dont have time to request for such amenities and wait for them to get delivered.Key Card: Specially mentioning this as the cards were frayed and peeling away.Airport pickup: Very polite and courteous staff. Their hospitality probably was the best part about this stay.Overall Experience: There is a lot of scope for improvement right from the lobby to the rooms and the facilities.

Despite not-so-good check-in experience (was made to wait for 45 minutes despite prior reservation), overall stay was comfortable. The breakfast spread was also satisfactory though nothing to write home about. The property, location etc was very convenient for the work that we came to Chennai for. I stayed with my family at Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway for 3 nights 4 days. It was a perfect stay experience in ultimate comfort and luxury. I enjoyed the international and Indian delicacies served in the buffet dinner and breakfast. Awesome rooms with city view, great hospitality, beautiful decor. Highly recommended.

Really very good experience in my life. Very good and nice place but quite expensive foods. Also small issue happens in that place, actually I booked 12 to 12 but they told 3pm to 12pm. So everyone need to check and confirm it first and go. Rest all are good.

We stayed at holiday inn on the eve of my birthday. The staff especially Melvin and his team were kind enough to have a cake arranged on my birthday and celebrate my birthday when the clock struck 12. I was taken aback by the hospitality and humane touch they offer.The breakfast spreads is one of the best in Chennai if not the best. The check in and checkout experience is very smooth. Overall they prove not just their brand but their people are also world class when it comes to hospitality.

Will give only 3 stars because service is very late. whatever we ask they ll bring only after 2nd call that to between the gap of 1hr. Room is good, house keeping is good but dont like the bathrooms. And coming to the food is good. I stayed before in ITC welcome hotel compare to that food here its good. but because of that food my wife hospitalised on 21st August and even for my kid also not feeling well. yesterday on 21st August we went to hospital and came back to room and asked wether dinner will supply for room because of her health she cannot walk down they refused and said if u want to room then u need to pay extra. as I inform that I can bring food to my room and will bring the empty plates as well but they refused and said no u need to come to dinning hall. I came and I ate at restaurant and I went outside and bought food for her at 10pm. its hurts alot. That time decided not to come other time to that hotel. even if we ask water they will bring after 1hr. I dont know who is she called and asked for the water she told that sir u need 1 bottle or 2 bottles. I booked room for 2 adults per day 1 adult need to drink 4 litres of water atleast u may not ask that question like is 1 bottle enough sir. I doubted and asked the guy who bought bottle is water limited here or wat. he said no sir not like that. As well in restuarant also one guy dont know his name he showed great attitude that wether he is paying for my food. very bad experience finally. I can suggest my friends and family may b not look at this hotel. because of bad and worst experience.very worst experience.

Had a bit of trouble to find a suitable room but frontbdesk was cooperative. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, with proper hygiene maintained.

Visited them on a weekend for the afternoon buffet .A normal spread but the food was good and the cost resonable . One of the better lunch buffet options on OMR

It was a pleasant stay at Holiday inn, Chennai. We have booked the suite room. It was one of the finest rooms which I have ever stayed. Great Interiors, the best mattresses and a bath tub for the relaxation. We felt very good. Food was really good. Staffs were very courteous and happy to support on demand.

Ive been to holiday Inn more than 4 times and this was my first long stay. I stayed here for 5 nights and I felt comfortable as usual. Front office executive Melvin and Akshay gave an upgrade to higher floor. Only thing I felt bad is food quality. Other than that I had great experience

I had a one night staycation at this hotel. The lobby with high ceilings was warm as the A/c was not working. The room is nice and comfortable with amazing city views. Bathroom is good. There is a wardrobe area and a seating area as well in the executive rooms on the 8th floor. The A/c in the room was good. I ordered room service breakfast which was below par and very expensive. The fitness is adequate. Pool is under maintenance. I had a good sleep as the rooms are well maintained. Amenities are good as well.

People who are about to check in here just make sure that the staff is absolutely incompetent to perform their duties and even if you have proper reservation there is a great possibility that you might have to stay in low cost room and pay for more than the cost of the room. The communication part between the members is an absolute fail as special instructions are not being passed on correctly. I had to go through major inconvenience with the room changing procedures.

The quality of hygiene and cleanliness is pathetic.Never gonna recommend this property to anyone.I have photos of room in which wall plaster is damaged and you can see the seepage. This property needs to be refurbish their walls and other things. Bed sheets are really dirty when I arrived in my room and no towels were in the bathroom and their are many things which need to be improved.My room number was 822

We went for a buffet lunch at Cafe D of holiday Inn. Very poor service, they didnt bother to serve the starters. We had to finally raise it after multiple requests for refilling our water glasses. Yes, thats right.Kindly avoid.

I will never suggest this to anyone..its not at all 5 star..it was just a budget hotel...the service and all were soo poor that you will feel its better to book an oyo rooms...it there would be a zero star I would have given that... mosquitoes are enjoying its life in the room.... seriously never book this...and also they tried to scam me by giving the bill that was not ours and asked us to pay that...and what a bad room service....I called them 100 times for some water and plates and ended up collecting it myself....just a horrible experience...I never expected this from a star hotel....

We went for family lunch today. This was my second visit to Cafe G, totally shocked by the lack of options for buffet. Understood that we are going in Covid times, but the level of service and quality of food is not up to the mark.Special call out to Clary for her hospitality and ethics.

The worst experience I had on my stay! Poor room service and the staffs never responded to my request. And even after multiple feedback’s no action had been taken. The AC didn’t work properly and the water stinks at the restroom. Never expected such a bad experience to happen in holiday in !

We are grateful that we chose this locations best hotel. Management has taken care of Covid protocol for the Guests as well as their staff. Security staff, Front desk staff, Housekeeping and Restaurant team are doing their best. Looking forward to stay there in future too.

No Valet parking.. which was surprising in such a hotel… average level service.. limited items in the menu.again surprising… Breakfast was above average.

1 of the worst service i have ever used, I have booked 5 room and they are giving only 2 room ready at 8 pm and rest 3 room is not ready they provide me 9 pm after esclating to higher management, and if you need any room service no 1 can pick call, bathroom not maintained, less staff asking 8-9 time for single thing, and we enter for dining @ 9.30 pm most of the item finished and not fresh.Am from hospitality industry from last 10 year i really escalated to this social media also. Its totally wastage of money.

It was a good stay here, the bed sheets were having few stains and it was a bit torn. The house cleaning staffs were not that attentive when it came to cleaning the room once a day, when I went outside. The staffs were really helpful,friendly and security was great here. Buffet was nice with variety of foods, Chefs were really nice, Interacting and asking feedbacks from customers

Hotel staffs are very nice and polite. Rooms are spacious and cozy. But I must say the best part of this hotel is food. Everytime I eat here, the foodie inside me starts jumping with happiness. Great work by Chef Ashish and team.

Horrible stayThe place was filled with mosquitoes.There is no room service after 10 - not even for coffeeI had arranged stay for my entire family - about 12 rooms in the month of September. They tried to dupe us off money by saying that we havent paid for bfast for two of the rooms when we had done so for all rooms. They have staff who are clueless and dont replt to the reception calls.2 rooms had bedspreads which were stained ( with blood )Would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. It is worse that streetside rooms - forget a holiday inn service.

Staff are courteous, helpful and attentive. Common areas are very well maintained. Good attention to social distancing and cleanliness. All staff were masked at all times. Breakfast was terrific with fresh sodas and poor is served at the table in addition to a good South Indian and western style buffet. The only issue was since there was no In restaurant dining, guests were forced to do room service and the food trays (and leftovers) were kept outside in the corridors. The sight was not pretty first thing in the morning (staff cleared it up later in the day). This should be worked on to provide an even better experience

Our visit was pleasurable, however, it can be further improved next time if you make improvements to your cleaning services. I understand that Covid 19 might have put in some restrictions but cleanliness is bare minimum which i expect in any of my stays.

I was surprised at the very poor service from such an apparently reputed network hotel. I can understand the limitations because of the pandemic but I would strongly discourage people from opting for a stay here. The room was stuffy & carpets poorly vacuumed. I developed a bad allergy soon upon checking in. I wasnt offered the booked room. Room service took for ever to deliver even water bottles. They were perhaps grossly understaffed. The restaurant stopped answering our calls!!!!

T’s my first stay in holiday inn. It was a relaxing experience. Due to pandemic many features are closed and there are other restrictions however it was a pleasant stay. Melvin was of great support. His follow ups are much appreciated. Aishwarya is also a very hard working person at the desk.There is no much activity or entertainment spots and only one restaurant open, there were small delays in services this must be due to the pandemic and skeleton resource.Chef Ashish who I met during breakfast was very active and prompt, he seemed to be asking people about their stay and experience.In room dining was good too.Room could have been prepared better for triple occupancy, but it was clean and pleasant. TV and glasses needs to be sanitized as I could see finger prints.Overall a great experience. The details above are definitely not complaints but details for improvements.Looking forward to stay again.

Okayish hotel.Only good thing was the uninterrupted hot water supply for bath.Pool was under maintenance and no complementary breakfast was provided which was really expected at this price point.

Hotel staff = 10/10House keeping = 10/10Room = 9/10Cleanliness = 9/10Room service = 6/10The hotel must work on their room service, the room service are very slow, means if u order something it will take around 1 to 1.5 hrs to recieve and if u ask for water they might not even bothered about it, so my advice is to keep your own water in emergency.

Best for both business and lesiure stay. My stay experience was excellent.. I will always recommend this place for any type of stay.
