To start with the banquet hall we used for an occasion was very good.The food was splendid.Later we stayed in their suite, which was well maintained, keeping all basic necessities in mind.

AC to be concentrated. There is an issue. It gets cool only after long time. Stayed in room 303. But after an hour it was ok. Still one hour is long waiting time.

It is located right next to Egmore railway station. Walkable distance. Reception was good. Rooms are neat and tidy. There is centralised AC, TV, small fridge and kettle. Hot water is available 24*7. Room services are good.Found few cons: maintainance could improve, they need to take care of the finer details.

Location is good however the rooms show their age. Staff and service was highly ok however the lady at the reception was kind and sweet. wifi was pathetic and breakfast was ok. The hotel is undergoing renovation. If you get good deal then it is worth else there are far superior option around. Wifi was very very slow and would not work half of the time. Staff needs to be more courteous.

The location is nice, near to the metro station and the railway station.The quality of rooms is also pretty great. You have all the basic features like the TV, kettle, intercom, writing desks, shower area with hot & cold water.The hygiene of room we got was little poor, as there were a lot of mosquitoes inside.However, the room service cleared them up and provided mosquito repellents.Overall a good stay!

Not a great place to stay. The attitude of the staffs are pathetic. The rooms are badly maintained, not in a working condition. AC doesnt work properly, entire room smells of cigarate. Not recommend for families. The front desk dark fat guy has a major ego, his way of talking to guests is not recommendable. He says whatever you want to say write as a review than telling me, I have got nothing to do with your issues. This is exactly the same words that he used...They charge if you have guests visiting you even if they are coming just to meet. So be careful as they loot money big time with customers

Not yet completed construction. Poor parking space. Not so professional staff. Rooms were having the smell of old furniture.When I checked in, the room had covers of used tea and sugar packets used and left over by previous customer.Room was not cleaned properly.On swiping was able to get a thick layer of dust on to my fingers.Overall bad experience for me

Good Business Class Hotel To Stay

The service is very slow. Be it house keeping or room service. I had to call many times for several things. Customer service is everything.Your rooms are not maintained in the best way.The AC was not working in the room I stayed in.Most importantly I dont understand the pricing.You provide double occupancy without breakfast for 2800 RS. But single occupancy for 2500. Makes no sense.

Unprofessional attitude of receptionist spoil the hotel name. Dont know how to behave with doctors. We r here not for enjoyment. We r away from home, left small kids and working in covid ward, he should realise how much we r stressed. He behave like hostel warden.

At this price this is the best hotel I feel. first its located in the heart of city. Express avenue Mall is nearby. In-house Madras masala restaurant is well maintained and provides you delicious food Staff in the restaurant are very good and polite. A small gym is available in the ninth floor. Rooms are clean and air conditioned. You can ask in the reception for non smoking rooms. Overall its a nice experience.

Not a 4 star hotel at all. Rooms are small for the price, bathing flush does not drain properly and commode does not flush effectively - you need to keep pressing the flush button continuously! Bed mattresses are not that clean. However, the response of staff is good, breakfast has good spread and tasty. Location is great - just opposite Egmore station. Lots of good eateries around of all kinds if you dont want to eat in the hotel. No confirmation booking by mail or sms - after calling twice by phone, I still had to fight at reception to get the room! All in all 3 stars or 2 stars? Somewhere in between !!

The hotel was really good. They are hospitable and efficient in their methods. They have good parking spaces and decent meal. Services offered are really good. I had a wonderful experience with them. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wish to spend their time to relax and enjoy themselves. Even their Watchmen was a good concersationist.

Decent rooms, but a lot of mosquitoes. Hotel is not prompt in helping you get rid of it completely or ensuring that you arent given a room full of mosquitoes.

A four star hotel on the verge of becoming no star hotel. The rooms are big and good. Full marks to that. Service is poor, maintenance is poor. AC doesnt work properly. Earlier they had proper restaurant, Spa and all. All shut down. One bar is running and one restaurant on the GF. The restaurant is very small and also gets converted into conference room. Thats bad. Asked for Ice cubes, charged Rs.100.

Great hotel with very well maintained rooms and courteous stuff. The location is also fantastic with close proximity to both Central and Egmore stations. Breakfast is also warm and tasty. All in all great experience for those arriving in Chennai via train.

Usually a good place to stay but since it was under renovation there were cockroaches all over, all the cups at breakfast were dirty.. Some were cracked. Laundry was not available.. And service was poor.

Rooms look soooooo good. But reception part needs a slight improvement. This hotel is very close to Chennai egmore railway station. breakfast spread is comparatively less. Nehru park is the nearest metro station, which is just 1.5kms from this hotel. Its better to take metro to go to vadapalani / koyambedu / airport etc instead of going via road. We can save big in terms of time and cab charges. Popular restaurant Buharis outlet is just 100 meters away from here. Premium hotel Ramada is also nearby.

Hence Ive got lot of consPros-location-check in n check out was fast-comfy bed-clean restroomsCons- can improve on breakfast- reception was shifted to basement cos its undergoing renovation .. n access to basement is with a pathetic lift-staff dont talk much- rooms look as if they can do some renovations.. they might be working on the same .

Since we booked through Agoda which was economical for us, we were treated badly by the Reception Admin. He told in front of us that people booking through Agoda must not be let in. He didnt give us the requested floor and also the AC was not working fine. The Support staff were friendly. Food was ok and Maintenance for the property is okay. Lift stinks. Toilets are good. Room ambience is good.

Good hotel managed by Treebo. Good food, breakfast is very good. Ask the chef if you want to get anything special, he would be more than helpful.

Room service was horrible.. no proper cleaning.. phones n a.c were not working..had to shift rooms in the midnight.. mosquitoes were disturbing a lot.. we booked 3 rooms n we felt it was totally not worth the cost we paid..I wud definitely not suggest

Centrally located. Rooms are so good equivalent to 7star catogary but the room tariff is comparable with small hotels even though Fortel is Star hotel. Food is excellent and banquet services are the best.

Visited my friend who stayed, very much accessible and visible from egmore station just walkable.. Hospitality in gate entries were missing to the core and food quality shall be improved to sustain your inhouse customers food and beverage business...

Nothing is good... You can find mosquitoes inside the room. We had the complementary breakfast they provided us which was a real mess. I personally dont recommend that hotel for food. Kaiyendhi Bhavan is way better than that.

Its very newr to Egmore railway station as well as bus stop. Car parking is available. Well maintained rooms. Room Service is good. ( Per coffee: 110 rs.)

The place is located centrally but it seemed under renovation. Room furniture was rickety and horrible smell of rotten wood in the bathroom. Linen was OK ok. Breakfast was fine.

Hotel room is ok,but service is too poor like lodge,no probper room service, hotel is too outside from airport & no one knows about this hotel u have to tell them its in front of morgen railway station.As we are traveling from outer state we wish to have hair oil,paste are available in room but no such facility..u hv to carry all stuff with u.service responce is to slow. Recommend not try it.

Excellent service.. but standard checkout time is the thing which takes out my remaining stars. I reached chennai early morning and checked in, I will return by evening but my room charges became two days.. they said by afternoon it will be renewed as next day ...then there is no point in its presence near railway station..

Earlier this place was good. Now its all foul smelling.. food is also not good...

As of now, it is very very good hotel.. But, I will stay for more days.. Review may change.
