PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE THIS WEDDING HALL.I am writing this review because I had my own wedding in this hall. I have listed down all possible reasons why nobody should choose this hall.Reason #1ELEVATOR STOPPED WORKINGMajor reason for bad rating is because the elevator stopped working during the day of wedding and reception. The wedding hall is on the 4th floor and it was very difficult for people to climb up 4 floors.Most people came to the entrance and when whey knew about this, they returned back home.Worse than that is, the elevator was also faulty. People were complaining the elevator almost fell down freely. It made people scary.So many middle aged and old people with different health conditions worked very hard to climb up 4 floors.Reason #2BAD MAINTENANCE AND POOR HOSPITALITYThe management was unresponsive when we reported the elevator issue. They cared only about the MONEY and not about the customer.They were nice when we chose the wedding hall and very different after we we paid money. Poor customer satisfaction.The management didnt care to clean the wedding hall after small functions. It needed repeated follow ups and frustrating moments to get some work done.REASON #3ROOM ISSUESMost rooms were clean but had so many issues.Some rooms had water issues. Lack of water supply. Some rooms had hot water issues.AC was working properly but was leaking water and kept making squeaky sounds which made it difficult to sleep during night.Everything that can go wrong went wrong for choosing this wedding hall.I will never recommend this hall to anyone.PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER THIS HALL UNTIL THEY BUY A BRAND NEW ELEVATOR

Its wonderful location.this is beautiful wonderful place.staff member behaviour outstanding.

Its ok. I dont like the fact that they have their own ads and standees at so many places. Its a bit small for any occasion function and is more like an adjustment.

Though right on main road does not have dedicated parking facility.

Had my daughters marriage at Palace-5. Hall facilities including rooms were good. Hall charge does not include Lighting charges. This has to be paid separately.It will be nice and helpful, if they provide pickup Van or auto service from the main road, as it is difficult to reach this place for those who do not come by their own vehicle.

Its so big I just love it. The parking is spacious and can accommodate huge no of cars. The only thing I dont like is the distance..😬😬

One of the oldest marriage hall. Everything here shows the age of the place right from the lift to the ambience.

Wonderful location, good exterior look, all amenities available with gust rooms. But as a wedding venue, its bit small. Dont think the hall can accommodate more than 150 people. For the dining hall, dont think it can accommodate more than 70 people in one go. I think they also allow to have non veg parties.

Small marriage hall with a least comfortable planning. Wedding hall is in the fourth floor. With the lift just enough for one and half thin human beings, most of the time one ends up climbing four floors.Rooms are in the first and second floors. Would have been a lot better if the floors acoomdating the rooms are swapped with the ones accommodating the dining and marriage halls.Parking is another pain. Valet parking is available ( at least on the day i was there)

A good and decent exclusive marriage hall. Nice place.

Although the infrastructure could be a bit better, not a bad place for functions in general. Its situated on the main road making it easier to notice from a moving vehicle.

Broad and spacious streets, clean less crowded, let stinky air

Used to be really good, infact still better than many marriage halls in Chennai. But now they have some issue with allocation of rooms that you may wanna confirm with management before you commit. Also the entrance road is always messed up for some reason.

Quite decent lighting for Photography, small veune can accommodate up to 200 pax and 300pax running crowd, overall good venue at The Nagar area.

Marriage hall and dining hall is good and specious.But rooms are not maintained well. Old window ACs are not functioning properly in some rooms. However the catering is good.

Very Worst service on the Birthday funtion held on 20.09.2018. Until they received the advance, the way of communication was totally different, after that the behaviour was totally the opposite; The manager is so harsh, we were highly dissappointed, Initially, Regarding payment the never said an extra 10k would be charged but at the peack of the moment (tat is before cake cutting they are informing that we need to pay 10K miscellenous cost, we were totally held up.. People please do think twice before booking this hall...Thanks!!!

Location is the big plus .car Parking is a major issue. Park your car somewhere nearby, take a cab/auto and relax in the function.

This is the worst place that someone can book for their weeding or reception in Chennai, the place looks so old & the rooms provided are worst than the oyo rooms. No cleanliness at all, the A/C rooms provided to us were so scary that every one hour there was a fuse that went out for the A/C, the price that these guys charge you is not worth the services at all. Muthu Kumar who was the decorator for our event, created a scene a night before the wedding, & did not complete the decoration for the event & we had to get it done ourselves early in the morning before the Muhurtham. These guys have a monopoly for all the services that are promised to you, & will charge a bomb. The staff is very unpleasant.Do not trust the sales person with all the offers that they allure you with. If they give you the decorator named Muthu Kumar, please do not sign with them. They will take your money & run away. This is what happened to us a day before the wedding. Worst service ever.

I ve recently been to check the mandapams of EVP chain in chennai. The attendees and managers are courteous in explaining the services but the mandapam is old and not so fresh. For the amount they charge, we have better new options in and around chennai.

A place for small functions. Parking is not there. Second floor is where the hall is..

My worst experience.Power cut during my reception and no diesel available in that.Seating capacity is only 100.And sentimentally this hall does not work.
