Visited twice this place in early 2017. Located near to Gemini circle and famous area for lighting and chandeliers shopping. Stayed there as it is near US visa office. Its a huge property but dont have much to offer as a free space like sprawling garden. But the building is beautiful and located at prime location. The rooms were really beautiful and well maintained. The staff too was very cooperative. The breakfast buffet was really very nice. Didnt had lunch or dinner there as was busy outside. Overall very nice experience I had.

Well, it was my 2nd time here in Courtyard by Marriott, Chennai. I was traveling with my wife and kid and we were to leave for New Delhi the next evening. So, this time is was kinda special because it was my wifes birthday and prior leaving Chennai I wanted to surprise her during our staycation. Wed stayed in Room 1020 and it was quite spacious, cozy, and had a great outside city view with lot of trees at the front. In the evening during sunset, wed our tea watching sun settling down with the right music and amazing company of my wife and kid it turned to be a perfect evening. We had our dinner and breakfast at the restaurant Paprika and it was very delicious with wide range of delicacies to soothe your tastebuds and stomach as we munched to our favorite food and even tried the freshly baked muffins at muffin tree and turned out to be yummy. Also, to mention we also got a small complimentary cake and a birthday card for my wife from the team Marriott. Thank you so much Team Marriott for making our stay comfortable and memorable. The staff were very courteous and helpful and would like to mention that its the guest service which speaks about the hotel.Adios! Well definitely visit again when were back in Chennai. As such nothing! Since I was with my wife and kid and during check-in I was completing the formalities which took some time the kind lady from guest service saw this and without wasting more time she asked the reception to hand over the keys while I completed my check-in formalities she escored my wife and kid to the room. That was kind for her. Thanks team Marriott.

I stayed here for the first time with my kid. The cbexk in procedure n all was very smooth as the staff present at the reception was very kind enough. The food was not up to the mark. I didnt like food much. But the staff waa very courteous. There is this restaurant called Paprika in the hotel on the ground floor, the staff was so kind and generous Mr vimlesh was the hotel incharge over there he and his team took care of the kid very well. Even the house keeping staff was good enough. The best rhing i like was all the staff here knew hindi, regardless of the fact that staff member belongs to which state. Naturally it gives me a kind of homely feel. Except the taste of the food the stay was comfortable. I stayed there for 4 nights in a suite room. The room , washroom ,linens was very well cleaned. It is opposite to the metro station so one can reach there by any means, since it is on the mount road so finding the place is not difficult. If one wants to go to nearby market, then shopping are is just 5 ton10 minutes away from the hotel. Nice place to stay.

My family stayed here for 6 days and here is our review. Room is nice and location is very good. Breakfast is pretty nice with different varieties. Good wifi connection, But because of 3 bad things, i want to give 2 star.1. When they billed they added Rs 2000 extra charged as dinner charge and when we found it and asked them, they said it was a mistake and they said it is better to have some food for that money instead of refunding. Since we paid as cash, we were able to get back Rs 2000,2. We paid room accommodation bill upfront and they charged again for room cleaning service for 6 days, either they can add it to the room bill or they should mention that.3. This is more interesting, we paid for breakfast which is included in the room bill, then they added additional Rs 300 per day per person for muffins table which was also located at breakfast buffet. How it is fair putting something in a buffet to charge extra and they are charging for it no matter we took muffins or not.We got a spacious room with a beautiful couch and table. Pretty comfortable beds. Also really like the wood finishing inside the room which is really cool.I am writing this not to reduce their booking, it is just a feedback where Marriott can improve their customer satisfaction level.

This is my preferred hotel in Chennai. Ideal location and Bonvoy loyalty are the major motivation for me to opt this hotel a preferred hotel for me. Very close to AG DM Metro station, makes your airport transfer hassle free even if you don’t get a cab. The breakfast spread is good, but the service has deteriorated over a period of time. In room dine options are nicely done and presented, with acceptable waiting time. Housekeeping is nice and clean, and the guys are quick too. Wish the bar had more options (in beer).The area where they need improvement is their guest relationship management. They seek feedback from you with no intention to address the concerns. Your room preferences, requirements etc will listened and forgotten, even after you remind a few days of checking in! It could be individualised, but this is my experience.

At a prime location. The twin rooms are not a great choice if you are not taking both the rooms.. The connecting door is locked and always alloted to other guests.. the sound proofing of the door is not very great and you can feebly hear noises from the other room. definitely not a star experience

I have stayed for US visa interview. The representatives are very helpful and all requests were promptly addressed.The chekin and check-out time is 3 pm and 12 pm respectively. Additional half day will be charged for early check-in / delayed check-out. Early check-in depends on the room availability. I checked-in at 11:30 am and lucky that early check-in charge was not applied, have to wait for 15 min for room availability. My flight was at night, hence paid half day rent for late check-out (7 pm).Can drop available, overpriced as compared to uber. In case you have time constraints like visa interview or flight, can avail their service. I took airport drop in inova which cost me around 1450. Uber is not reliable because drivers were cancelling the ride at their wish, only cash trip was preferred.The hotel breakfast was good(660/person), I took lunch and dinner from swiggy.The US consulate is 1.5 km and apollo hospital is 3.5 km from the hotel.Overall it was good experience.

Been there to book hall on a Saturday. Receptionist asked us to wait and never the call came, though we were sitting opposite to the counter. When enquired after some time, they said on Saturdays there will be no sales personnel and hence they could not help. Replies were a bit rude. Given a choice, I will never go again.

Marriott is located on a busy road n near to chennai central n egmore. Very well maintained hotel with good ambience. Rooms are spacious n Bathrooms are very clean.Buffet had both north, south n continental dishes.What makes me very happy is the level of service. It is way more than any other places i have been.They were following COVID-19 protocol very well. Felt very happy with both the sanitation of rooms n for maintaining social distancing for buffet seating.

Here to review about the food - It is a common complaint that vegetarians dont get variety of dishes. And, I found the same here. And, most of them were very normal dishes that are cooked in household. Everyone would expect a differently flavored exotic dish in a 4-star hotel like Marriott. Hospitality was good. Ambience was decent. Parking facilities were good as well. Overall, an above-average-ish experience with Marriott.

Pathetic cleaning, housekeeping staff worse than a 2 star. Food pathetic..there was fungus all over the room which made me sick and they short circuited while cleaning and didnt even give me a change of room when I asked for it. Kept me in that pathetic room without electricity until.they fixed it. They took my room charges upfront, which is not the case in any other Courtyard Ive stayed in. This is the worst hotel one could be in. Avoid travelling rather than staying in this unprofessional, inhospitable, pathetic hotel.

He is expert in catching the taste buds pulse of customers and make them happy while having the food with his smile and excellent service. You have options like piza n pasta too . Staff told me that since there were restrictions of lockdown n low crowd they were to cut down few dishes like pasta n few other . I so wanted to taste again when they are running it in full capacity

Hotel Marriott in the pandemic. The hotel is full with people, travellers and Healthcare workers. Amidst this, I had an experience with Marriott.It started off with a request for early-check in and a room on a higher floor. Initially, I had issues with Ms Punam at the front desk.The Assistant Front Desk Manager, Mr Subhash Khankriyal was of great help. He assisted me and my friend to the room along with a host of other amenities. He was extremely cordial and helpful. He was even nice enough to guide me to the room personally.The room was huge with a beautiful sofa set, a study table and a single seater in the room. It was very well done and extremely spacious. The room was clean and air conditioned per expectations. The have 24/7 round the clock room service as well (even during the pandemic). The room keys enable you to only go to that particular floor. My recommendation would be that you request the front desk to give you access to the 2nd Floor as well as they have a small garden.Overall, I had a great experience with Courtyard by Marriott Chennai thanks to Mr Subhash Khankriyal, who took great care of his guest. 😊Please feel free to hit the like button if this was helpful.

Stay was quite comfortable. They have given their best. Room was good but not up to a 4 star hotel I guess. Could have more amenities. The hotel lack a swimming pool. We have booked the room from a third party app, so there was a confusion regarding the payment of breakfast, since we have already paid and hotel doesnt had any updates and later we paid the bill and the third party app refunded. So make sure that Ur breakfast is included in the stay while booking. Breakfast was quite nice and the hotel was very clean.But I was not at all satisfied with the attitude of the receptionist bavya who were so adamant and were not at all customer friendly. She got angry when we were clearing our queries regarding the bill also. And hotel also provided us a free one hour late checkout. All together it was good..

Just before few days went to their restaurant to have food. This was nice spreads and was looking nice. Food was good. Shivam the restaurant manager was really nice. Moreover I like it was full but not crowded. We enjoyed our time without any disturbance.

We recently stayed at Marriott for the period of 12 days.We are immensely satisfied with their customer service executive, reservation team, kitchen and dining room staff, and room service peopleTheir front desk people, naming few, Chitra and Edamon were very polite and prompt in providing any assist and solutionsTheir kitchen staff, especially Arun (chef) and Arun were always polite and took care of every guests very well by attending their requirements.Room cleaning staff is also very hardworking and helpful, services of Bisakha and Rahul are really notable...Overall we are satisfied with the say, although we had some issues with room, as electricity trips multiple times, but their promt and polite response made it easy and forgivableWould definitely recommend this hotel, especially when you are travelling with family

I had my US visa interview and I booked this hotel for one night. Metro from the airport leads directly opposite the hotel! I had arrived quite early (check in time is 2 pm but I arrived at 10 am), but they still let me check in, so that was very nice. We ate room service for dinner. The food was expensive but very good! There were good options as well. If you want, you can order food from outside, but the only thing is you will have to collect it from the lobby. The hotel cleanliness and room were really good as well. Their complementary breakfast was amazing! For people who have a visa interview, I highly recommend this hotel, since it is very close to both the visa application center as well as the US consulate general. We also had a flight around 6 pm the next day. They let us check out late as well (normal check out time is 12 pm, but they let us checkout at 3 pm). The hotel staff were very friendly and kept asking us about our stay, and what they could do to improve. They also did temperature checks at the front, as well as sanitizers were present almost everywhere. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially to people who are going to Chennai for visa interviews.
