Best and exotic view of beach. Must try out with a date. Hospitalization is amazing. Food is great, so is ambience. A classic culmination of romantic, authentic with finest touch. A special callout to seafood!!

Nice place and exotic view. The menu could have been better. We got a prawn risotto, a blue lagoon and a drink. The bill was quite costly. But the view and the hospitality was really great. Dont go by the map . Get inside the Taj resort and then ask the security for the way in. We planned by knowing it was a full moon day and moon rises around 7-8. So plan accordingly. It can be both a romantic and a family outing.

This restaurant location was amazing. Wish I got a chance to sit and dine out there. But always there is another time I could try out. Once the covid is far away and things normalize I am gonna go spend some time here at this restaurant forsure.

Amazingly romantic place for dining with large and wide beach beach view. Food was just okay. Tried Lamb Chops and Grilled Lobster 🦞~ nothing special about the sea food here. But great customer service by Kennedy. This place is about great experience and aura more than just food.

Excellent view of the ocean from the tables at the edge of the seating space. It is very quiet, calm and relaxing.We had veg. soup, lasagna and ravioli. The pumpkin stuffed ravioli was excellent. The ratatouille lasagna was served while we were eating the ravioli and cooled down too fast. So, it didnt taste as good as it should have.The total cost for the three items was Rs 1900. The ambiance made it worthwhile.

Food is good. But service is poor because of few staff. The view is good. If u sit near the beach outside,its very windy nd food gets cold in a minute. So if u go for food sit inside. If for view sit outside

Good beach over looking restaurant inside Taj. They serve Italian Cuisine. Im not a great fan of Italian food but then I liked it here. Their pastas are good and non alcoholic beverages were extremely impressive. Good ambience and a peaceful place. I recommend this to everyone. Highest quality of customer service.

Went there with my girlfriend on her birthday place is awesome on the sea shore, if you want a good sea view book one of the 3 tables which is overlooking the sea book 2 days before or else it will not be available. Ordered drinks, starter and main course with half kg bday cake(850rs) pls order cake 3 days before or else in short notice youll not be able order your fav flavour. Total bill was around 3.5k.+Food is good but pricey which is expected since its among the premium restaurants in Chennai.+Ambience is exceptional and must visit for peoples need to experience candle light dinner with sea view.+Staff behavior was very good with amazing service.We visited the properties beach after the dinner which is around 11:15pm the view was awesome at night.Advice to management: please have a electronic mosquito trapper in place. at times we faced mosquitos biting our legs under the seats.

Superb place... Sheraton has selected wonderful location for this hotel and open air swimming pool with open air restaurant upper deck ... Right next to beach... Blue ocean, wide Sky Ans wonderful lights... In the evening the feeling is different!!

Food was good..service was ok.. ambience was good but too many mosquitoes.. Couldnt enjoy they food as we had to fight against mosquitoes all the time.

Called them to book a table only to be told that they dont take reservations, first come first serve. And we went by 6pm and they tried sending us back saying they need reservation. Was annoyed until the manager came and intervened and gave a table. Post that, the service was nice. Ambience was good. Food was very tasty. But quantity was less and expensive price tag. But thats expected in a star restaurant esp. at Taj capacity. Can feel the sea breeze and hear the sound of the waves. It started raining and they struggled to manage. My friend who I took there enjoyed the experience and place. So, overall good.

Loved it to the core. Food was excellent. The service was excellent. The beach view makes it a perfect ambience to taste their lemon basil prawns. The sweet breeze makes your chicken grill with double cheese mushroom a heaven on earth. The food orders arrived very quick, and the quantity is worth the price. Two dishes can comfortably fill in for two people. Starters are very tasty. The menu looks very small but the taste is really awesome. A must try restaurant at this place for everyone. A really good place of you want that special dinner. Limited menu.PROS: This is one of those restaurants where the ambiance is as good as the food. Unlike Bay View , This restaurant is a little further away from the beach which I felt was a good thing. Lesser crowds, lesser sticky sea breeze and a little less sultry. If you like going on a little walk with your company for the evening, its a 3 minute walk from the lobby. But you also have the option of simply hopping onto the golf buggy at the entry porch and going on a 1 minute drive.Coming to the food, it was as good as the food always is at fishermans cove. Ive been to most of the resorts in and around mahabs, when it comes to food , fish cove is usually the best. Everything tastes freshly prepared and the quantities are perfect. For reference, Im an average eater ( A chicken club sandwich with fries usually fills me up with only a little room for dessert ).CONS: The only con I can think off is the limited menu. The menu is mostly limited to two dishes per meat type and hence you arent exactly spoilt for choice. And of course this restaurant is outdoor , so if you are the kind who cant take some humidity it may not be your cup of tea.VERDICT: A great place to spend that special evening with that special someone.

A beautiful European themed restaurant amidst the lush Taj resort . We visited the restaurant at night , where a surreal trail of lights lead us to upper deck which is situated on a small elevation overlooking the Arabian sea and the beach .The sea waves murmur in the distance and cool breeze remind you of the overlying beach and sea . The food is top notch with authentic flavour .Must haves : Rissoto rice with wild mushroom 🍄 ( veg) , Ratatouille lasagne ( veg ) , prawns and sea food briske amongst the other specialities .

This restaurant has an amazing ambience. it is part of the Taj Fisherman Cove resort. Located close to the beach, can feel the nice breeze from the sea. Needs a reservation typically has 2 slots 7 to 9:30 and 9:30 to 11.Limited menu, serves alcohol. Although the food quality and taste is awesome.Do try Tiramisu. I have also posted a lovely picture of it.I would say great place to celebrate ones private ocassion.

Ambience was alright. Service is really slow and all the food is just cold. Food was a mixed experience. Soup was good but starters were okay. We ordered pasta for main course and it was really bad. So bad that my wife threw up after coming home. The staff are cordial and helpful. They didnt charge us for the bad items.

We went here for a romantic dinner date and it turned out to be the best date! Ambience is just perfect. Do book in advance as there are limited tables. You also have access to beach till 9pm. We had a great time! Hope you would love this place too.What we ordered:Starter- Lemon Basil Prawn (Very tasty and fresh soft prawns. Best quality less quantity to sum it up)Grill (Non-Veg)- Grilled Chicken stuffed with four cheese and mashroom. (Just loved eating this stuffed cheese chicken. Although we didnt like the fried potatoes that come along with it)Main Course (Non-Veg)- Smokey Chicken Risotto (Dish with minimal spices)

The best thing Upper Deck has going for it is its location. Watching the waves at night and being constantly fanned by the ocean breeze while enjoying a good dinner is simply delightful. The food itself (mostly Italian fare) is good but not impressive. The small portions could be disappointing to many patrons who may not expect to have to order more than one main course. Still, its worth the light meal to just sit by the beach by candlelight (or moonlight).

I came here mainly for the view. Im not a fan of western food but the Italian food here was exceptional. The cream of pea and corn soup was spot on and the smoked chicken risotto was flavoursome with a distinct smokey taste

Good place right at the beach of a resort. The resort is in the outskirts of Chennai so kindly leave ealry at night from here as the getting cab is an issue.

An excellent experience that truly captures the idea of fine dining by the sea. Every dish is spectacular, especially the grilled chicken stuffed with cheese and mushrooms. The food is outstanding, the ambience is wonderful. I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant.
