Not a great experience. While booking It was mentioned as free breakfast but not provided. Allotted rooms in two separate floors for a family even though booked in advance. Worst ever thing is very dirty water in washbasin tap. Complained multiple times no one fixed it. The door of 207 was not in working condition. Only location is good.

This is the best budget hotel stay at T.Nagar. Also would like to specifically mention about the hotel staff - Simply awesome, helpful with the best hospitality. Car parking space is sufficient enough with the security personnels.

I guess the owner is very particular abt things and this property is very close to his heart. On top of this, situated right in the heart of the city.

We spend 2nights here,. I must say that everything was excellent. The location of the hotel Is quite close to market place and this hotel is located in heart of city As for the room even though begin small, but is excellent and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples and staff was very politeThat hotel is not for couple but he allowed couples also but there is some restrictions of dress style I wont wear shorts in size the hotel

All good.Just a point to note: There is no breakfast buffet, they get a meal packed for you from a third party vendor.

The management is honest. They allowed to do early check in and also honoured online prepaid booking which many hotels refuse to do.They quickly finished the formalities and given the room.Single room was small but neat and clean with well maintained bathrooms and other amenities. Even they have hair dryer and close up mirror which most of the hotels don’t provide in lower budgets.Overall a good value for money stay.

I was strucked in rainfall, suddenly incame to know we are having a hotel near by ....I came and booked room ,later I felt happy with services and I extended my room for one more day in weekend.NYC place ,neat and clean .

Though I checked in by 2 am they were kind and called me on my journey often to know where I am and also guided me the way to their hotel. They have a huge parking so there is no need to worry about your car. I have to definitely mention the location of this hotel. It is situated in the heart of T. Nagar all kinda shops like pothys and GRT and others are just walkable. All kinda restaurants are nearby. They themselves have a restaurant but their service was down due to covid probs. The room and the reception ,the hall way ,the environment were very clean. The room is superb. As well as the bath. It is very clean. I am not sure about the check out time but still they do extend their check out time on request which is indeed very kind and helpful which lacks in other hotels. They wonderfully working amenities in the room. The bathroom was so neat. It surely worth the pay. There is no locker in the room by the way. They have good room service as well.I did not use the wifi so I have no idea how it is.Note: This is no promotion just an honest review. Surely best place to stay either it is for work or leisure

A decent and homely stay for shoppers. Impeccable customer service, from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast crew. The only downside is having to navigate the old toilet features such as bulky basin. However, the water from the shower head was strong and satisfying. A clean and trustworthy place.

A pleasant surprise to step into this recently renovated hotel (see other reviews, below) from a relatively quiet Chennai street.Occupying a room on the second floor for one night, I can honestly say the photos supplied did it justice. Cool, comfortable and MOSQUITO-FREE, the only drawback was the noise associated with proximity to the elevator and common area around it, amplifying comings and goings of other guests and the 06:00 start time of the house-keeping staff.I did not avail myself of the breakfast included.(Reception needed a reminder that single occupancy does not mean single bed.)

We stayed for a day. Room was pretty decent and it has basic amenities. Apart from that, manager/receptionist are decent in nature. They are willing to help. Overall felt good during stay.

I have been visiting Chennai on business for the past 6 years and have always stayed at the Taz kamar, their staff are now like family, and their service and cleanliness is impeccable. Poor service. Check in should be afternoon. Reach hotel around 8pm room not ready. Request for 2 double bed and 1 triple bed. Front office staff in charge ask us to check and vonfirm the booking with travel agent. They are not responsible, only follow the booking request. Irresponsible answer. Failed to attend and fullfill guest request. It take almost 1 hour to get the room. Not recommended.

Very decent hotel in heart of T nagar. Walkable distance from all the major shops. Well maintained hotel rooms and well behaved staffs. Overall best choice if you want to stay nearby to the shopping hub and yet have a peaceful stay!!

We used to visit this hotel and it used to be good in the past. but now overall quality is gone down.I visited Chennai for an office trip. Room they had provided is not good and bathroom not functioning properly. Food was average and overall feeling was down and they need to improve a lot. Staff in FrontDesk is very cooperative and that is only the best part in this trip.

We stayed at Taz Kamar Chennai for two days and two nights. We were very satisfied with the amenities and the quality of service. The staff very courteous and ever ready to help. We found this hotel a great place for - value for money. The only negative aspect is the location. The approach roads are very congestive.

My mother and I had been to Taz Kamar Inn for one night stay for the purpose of visiting OFC and US Consulate in Chennai. I must say that the place was excellent in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The location is also situated in T-Nagar Ranganathan Street which is very close to both OFC and US consulate. It was a very comfortable stay for me and the concept of 24 hour check-in and check-out even when booked through third party agents is very appreciable. My visa is also approved and I signed off happily from that place for making me feel comfortable !

Stayed in this hotel from 29/11/19-3/12/19. Very strategic hotel because very near to all shopping outlets such as Pothys,GRT,Tip Top Tailoring Shop, street shops and ATM. We can walk to all these places. Bought boutique materials in Kalanjiyam and exclusive kurtis and Palazo in Ninety Five shop. Best and delicious food in Shallots Restaurant next to this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staffs such as Mr. Sitaraman, Mr.Amirthalingam,Mr.Taslim and Mathi. We can exchange currency here. All in one hotel and recommended to all. 👍👍👍👍👍

Taz Kamar Inn was a clean and comfortable hotel right in the middle of T.Nagar - which is the primary shopping district of Chennai. The staff were very friendly and the service was outstanding. The food in the restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious, and deserved repeated visits. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations.
