Its a beautiful botique hotel which has a very pleasant feel about it. The staff are very cordial and ensure you have a comfortable stay. The in- restaurant ALOE has a very good menu offering a little of everything (standing true to its name) and the taste is very authentic and delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean too. Its a hotel well always come back to.

Clean rooms, decent food. The communication between management is a bit sub-par, so if you have a request make sure you tell everybody from the management. But the costing and room makes up for it. Location is also nice.

Classic chicken fried rice, prawn poppers was amazing and burnt Garlic chilly chicken was so good I cant wait to taste it again and also the service was so kind

The belstead hotel is situated on the main road amongst a lot of convenient restaurants, small and big eateries, juice shops and market. You get autos just outside the hotel too if you need to go anywhere. The hotel’s own restaurant Aloe is also extremely good. The food served is delicious and they maintain good hygiene. The buffet spread is extremely varied both for veg and non veg.Coming to the room- our room was huge, with lot of natural light, clean comfortable bed and proper maintained washrooms. Had work desks and good wifi as i used to work and take meetings. They had provided kettle n mini coffee pouches if needed. We stayed there for good six days as i was there to visit shankar netralaya. The auto guys take 50-60 bucks and it takes max 5 minutes from here to shankar netralaya. Most Beautiful Hotel I ever Been. Staff members were so Humble. They even helped me with my checking in and checking out timings. Complementary Breakfast was perfect and So delicious. My First visit in Chennai made special.Highly recommended for Students whom are appearing for Goethe German Exam. Institute Location is just near by (walking distance).

Wonderful hotel. It is well worth the money. Food is really good. The staff are very courteous and service is good. Open space with valet parking are available and there is a guard to take care of the cars. It is in a prime location as well.

Worth the price. Well maintained.. great buffet options for breakfast. The only negative point was the room in which we stayed was probably near some machinery or air vent or plumbing thing so whole night there was noise intermittently.

Amazing location, good reception staff, but some rooms stink, our room 410 stank really bad.We had another room which did not stink.Maybe the hotel needs to look and fix these kind of issues .The food was tasty, room service is good.The central location is a big plus.The rates were attractive so I chose this place.I hope the hotel does all necessary things to fix the deficiency that I mentioned.Do enjoy your stay there and happy Chennai times.The breakfast is yummy.

An excellent Hotel to stay for few days.It is ocated at the prime location nearby Apollo Hospital and Sankara nethralaya.Anti skid tiles are used in washroom as well as guestroom, allowing one not to worry of water spill especially when accompanied with children and Senior citizens.Smoking is prohibited inside hotel and appropriate measure are taken such as fire sprinkle with sensors in common area lobby and guestrooms as well.Windows are permanently closed, one may need to adjust with it.

We went along with extended family and kids on Diwali day.. though it seems guest doesnt have access to terrace (its only for parties and events), staffs were still kind and allowed us to watch the great Diwali fireworks from terrace, which was delight to eyes and made it lasting memories for the kids.. very courteous staffs, good and timely, nice and clean rooms in the service in center of the city.. Located right in the middle of the city amidst the hustle and bustle. Nice and clean rooms with all amenities. We stayed at suite room which was reasonably good. Restaurant was a bit costly and items were limited in breakfast.

Amazing good hotel, affordable price, right in the midst of hustle bustle of a busy centre like Nungambakkam. Perfect for exploring Chennai. Staff and food is very courteous. Rooms incredibly spacious. Special mention to Chef Mani, food was delicious to say the least. Manger George and Manager Neelkandan were quite helpful and courteous and reached out to help in whatever way they could. Has a great rooftop open Terrace banquet hall. Special mention, rooms were clean, and were also cleaned every day with fervor.

Very good place for staying . Its tidy. Valet parking is available however, cars are parked on road side only. One way road. In-room dining available but quite costly.

The façade of this unassuming hotel is not very inviting (unlike in the images) but the rooms, service, the staff is great. We stayed for a night but v=were impressed, especially with the service and COVID precautions. Check-in, check-out were smooth and hassle-free.

I searched hotels in websites then I find Belstead hotel Nungabakam is finest hotel to stay.I booked hotel over hotel staff and went there .Hotel ambiance hospitality the way of welcoming guests are Marvelous. I faced bitter issue with staff but its solved. I suggest to Belstead hotel staff please provide a confirmation of hotel booking over email or message. Hotel management is polite and room service is excellent their staff they way of behaving and respect I loved it. Its very well built.It has a beautiful cooled lobby with exceedingly comfortable couches. This continues into the rooms which have durable and tasteful concrete flooring, comfortable chairs, modern lighting, good beds, and enough space to accommodate 3 people. This is, however brought down heavily by the amateur and often confused staff. It was a bad sign when the first thing we heard form the room service staff were the words: Dont be angry. This should have been our first indication that the staff was not going to deliver to the hotels standards. We were given the wrong order and one of our dishes didnt reach us at all. The food is nothing special, just breaking average, and is hit or miss. The menu is only midly ambitious, preferring to stay within its comfort zone. The breakfast is much better, mainly because a part of the food here is packaged and just needs to served. We have been told that one can order food from outside using facilities such as Swiggy. This minimises the extent that the food takes away from the experience. The hotels security guards are very friendly and helpful, and are always willing to assist you. It is extremely close to the visa office and in a very good location generally being centrally located.The hotel could easily reach five stars with a slightly more polished management and Im hopeful about the future of this establishment

Absolutely No Service, even for getting drinking water, ordinary food like Dosai which is in their menu card. As for free breakfast, it is a horrible Uppuma and most horrible stone like idli delivered in some cheap plastic plate. Have to contact reception (as restaurant never answers) at least ten times event get to get reply, leave alone your food.Totally dissatisfied. For this grand appearing property, No service at All. I contacted the restaurant person directly. He says they donot provide Buffet Spread. But they charge as usual. Please do not visit this property.

Stayed with The Belstead for two days and it was wonderful. The Hotel being centrally located, gave access to many areas pretty quick. Early check-in was smooth and the rooms were maintained very well. The housekeeping did an excellent job in making sure everything was done perfectly.The staff in the hotel were very kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for hotels in Chennai.

Couldnt sleep at night due to loud music from club next door

The ambience of hotel is very good with good staff its a non smoking hotel.

Stay was good, food was great. Although one of the major issues I had was the lack of parking and the disturbing music beats from the club next door late at night.

Great hotel right in the heart of the city, you will also find good restaurants a stone throw away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its a huge hotel will many many rooms. The buffet breakfast is not vast but satisfying. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I got opportunity to stay at the hotel twice. The guest load is high and support staff n reception are overloaded. For simple requirement you have to concact them frequently. In my second visit I called them thrice for my requirements and lost hope. Instead of loosing patience n shouting, I changed my plan.Poor response. Bad experience

In the middle of Nivar cyclone ,they must have been short staffed,but there was no problem with water electricity or food or quality of housekeeping .the hotel is at a central location and at the front office Mr Tejas was very helpful and deserves special mention.I will certainly stay here again :also good value for money
