I visited Indian Bank branch located at the entrance of MEPZ. Very Entrance Indian Bank ATM is also available. Lot of export companies are working at that location. The location is easily reachable from Sanatorium Railway Station and also a bus stand is adjacent to the MEPZ. A big Sidha hospital is also nearby.

Special economical zone, good environment,central government control 100+private companys like cognizant,igarashi motors,hcl,avlon,new age software solutions and etc..

Well maintained roads and green grasses are there.you feel there green environment. It is one of the economic zone near by Chennai.

Its a good location. good security staff only transporting many workers are here. Travel facilities is so good local train is available.

New pedestrian way to mepz.Everyone should have mepz access card to enter this campus. Also common access card also available for now. For the past years they are spending lot and lots of money for entry restrictions like allowing mepz pass tagged vehicles (four wheeler and above) .No restrictions on two wheeler.

This great Special Economic Zone is one of the biggest tech park in Chennai and many companies are there.Now a days they are very strict it seems. Ive moved out of this place but got info from my friends that this management never allow any online order delivery. Entry also bit complicated and strict since huge amount of employees and their safety.Cognizant is one of companies in MEPZ and having great work environment, good cafeteria and especially nice OAT.

I have attended last year half marathon here. Liked the premises very much. Clean roads, signals, dust bins at many locations, trees are maintained well. The residential area inside boundary are well maintained. A good & calm place inside busy city.

Toll charges applicable for outside three & four wheel ers

My workplace is situated here. Theyve destroyed a lot of trees to get to this point. Roads are properly maintained. Not sure if its legal to collect toll inside.There are no public conveniences here which is odd for a place where 1000s come in search of jobs or official purposes.Smoking ban is in place, on paper!!

MEPZ Chennai Tambaram entrance where there are many companies inside.

Its a good economic zone and maintained well by Central government. Its surrounded by small mountains, ponds and with good road facilities. Now they have recently constructed toll and started its function. Also well maintained full green with lot of trees and plants. MEPZ is located in Tambaram Sanatorium, well connected with bus and train.

This place has changed a lot. Now it has a strict security system.Youll need a valid ID card (from the offices inside the MEPZ) to go inside. If you dont have one, go to the security reception and ask for a visitors pass. For that you will need a valid ID proof (i.e. voter ID, Aadhar card etc.) They will take your photo and instantly give you the pass.Once you get the pass you are good to go if you have your own vehicle. If you dont have one, you can take the company provided buses depending upon where you want to go.If you are planning to walk, then keep in mind, its a long way. So, better not take the option.

Last I visited my company c2c session,and I can say that it good place in terms of work culture, cafeteria and infrastructure for It companies....

One of the oldest SEZ in India. Has many manufacturing and software companies present inside it. Very large campus and thousands and thousands of all genders goes to work here. Very nice and calm place to work.

A grand IT Park where several IT firms reside. The place is very big and also maintained very clean. The roads are maintained well. Some companies also provide cab services from entrance to their companies.

Located opposite to Tambaram court. Primarily it is Economic zone. Many industries located inside the zone. IT companies and, Textile companies, Motor companies, Pharma companies are present inside. These companies exporting their products to other countries. Employees are allowed with ID cards. Public transport not allowed inside Mepz. Toll counter is there for cabs and private vehicles. Security facilities are good. Some companies offering cab facilities for their employees from main gate to company gate.

Very excellent infrastucture where air flow is very good outside the building. The buildings has huge capacity of working space more than 15,000 but the total environmental space is more compared with CKC. There is a huge parking facility of six floors which can accommodate both two and four wheelers. The cafeteria looks good and has all the food options.

MEPZ-Madras Export Processing Zone, Tambaram is a vast place with hills on its background. I recently visited the place for marathon. Its a well organized place. Running along the corrdors of mepz was a sizzling experience

MEPZ, toll gate for cars is too much.. making an entry in log book should be more than sufficient. Except that all looks good.

Very worst place.. maintainance is poor.. Every foot passers should produce ID to pass through... But a even a terrorist can get lift from vehicles and easily get into MEPZ .... One of the worst Security system I ever saw in my life... No checking on two wheelers... Anyone can pass through with a bike no need for IDs no checkups ..... worst system..

Very good place. Here lot of IT Companies are there. Companies like CTS, DXC, Avalon etc are there. Other than that lot of manufacturing companies also there. Secured environment trespassers cant enter easily. Very much secured place. Environment is clean and neat. Its a peaceful place.

Owned by central government. No cleanliness. Staying inside Mepz during night is not safe. There are lot of abandoned buildings, kind of jungle atmosphere. There will be lot of national permit lorry drivers will be there always inside the Mepz .

It is the one of the old Economic Zone in the south India.It is located on the main between Chromepet to Tambaram.it is providing jobs to many youths.Spreading around 300 acres and has more than 500 companies are running within its boundary. Initially, it was started to manufacture the equipments,components etc., for export.Nowadays, software companies,computer peripherals manufacturing companies,CNC machine manufacturing companies etc also are located.By this export zone, nearly 6000 families were directly benefitted .

At the outset it is a convenient place for the industries. The access to the GST road is very good.

Located near Tambaram, MEPZ is well connected to the rest of Chennai through the suburban railway and MTC buses. Tambaram Sanatorium on the Chennai Beach - Tambaram line is the train station closest to MEPZ. Tens of thousands of employees work in the many number of companies inside this SEZ. It has IT companies like DXC, Cognizant etc and many units that manufacture garments and other goods for export. The roads within the SEZ are clean and well maintained. Theres even a small lake inside MEPZ. The campus has a lot of trees too. Please note that the SEZ administration levies toll for cars and heavy vehicles.

Toll charges for vehicles. I dont know why ppl have to pay money to visit the companies inside. Completely insane

Services providing by MEPZ - SEZ is good. They are always doing facilitating factors to Organisations in MEPZ. They trying to built infrastructure to cope up with private sez units. Good food court is not available in MEPZ. They may get it done sooner
