If u like cheesy things in every food, then its definitely fromage is the best option for u. Do try frozen chocolate, hot coffee, garlic prawn, garlic bread, cheese pasta, lasagna. If u want spicy just tell them, theyll add spicy. Nice ambience, books shelf are there to read. Good service. Totally the best

A beautiful place filled with lot of cheese.Started with Starters - phyllo pastry parcels which were the best version of samosas but not actually samosas😅, just the shape is same,Cheese stuffed rainbow tortellini pasta with roasted herded chicken,Desert- death by chocolate cake and coke with a twist.All these were just awesome and I loved it❤️There are other dishes too like cheese fountain and much more. Will be trying them all on my next visit.Must visit and make sure you try everything in the menu😍

I was at this place today. I had no expectations of this place but my friend told me this place has the best cheese. We had a Locally Italy pizza. The crust was thin and the cheese was Wooow! The nachos also had a good salsa dip. It is called the cheesiest place in town for a reason ! The best part was the 24 layered Death by Chocolate cake ! The ambiance was also pleasant and calm. There were book shelves filled with books of all genres. On the whole, its is a good place for food and a pleasant evening.

Friendly staff, who suggested us with their best dishes, made our day turn wild with the flavors. Started with Cream of chicken and Cheddar!!! Omg I still savour the cheesiness in it along with the bread😍 Which went well with the spicy chicken wings.. And to note here, they have the choice of level of hotness u want for those chicken wings too.. My choice of drink was suggested by the staff, a Cranberry mojito. The mixl of cranberry, lime and mojito made me feel like the rat in Ratatouille 😇 (the one which enjoys the mix of flavours😂). Trust me, it was that good, that I had to go for it the second time😜. My second try at pork was here and trust me, I just loved the Pork chops, which was cooked to make me feel ecstatic! Definitely word for a second time!!! Beef lasagna - It just melted and our taste buds just wanted more of it!! And now to one of their signature dish - Paramesan wheel pasta - The way it was made was shown to us and the staff explained beforehand how it would be of a proper Italian taste and being a cheese lover, you couldnt miss this dish. It was bang on!!😍😍😍 The dessert was the whole tummy filler for us-DEATH BY CHOCOLATE CAKE-layers of cake and cream was euphoric. Fromage at MRC Nagar is one of my go-to places, so at the first opportunity that I got to go to their new outlet in Egmore, grabbed that with both hands.Fromage in Egmore looks rather different than the other outlet. It is also branded differently, they call it Fond(of)ue by Fromage. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating, and while we sat inside, I quite liked the exterior seating, the lighting and the decor as well. Interiors are no less - looks quite contemporary, looks like a cafe with bookshelves and a lot of books all around. Basically, my kinda place :)Coming to the food, the menu is the same as the MRC outlet, and given that we were a group, got to taste a lot of dishes, starting with the broccoli and cheddar soup, cheese balls, bruschetta - 4ways veg, paneer steak with corn and spinach, green garden pizza, parmesan pasta, veg lasagne and paneer burger.Yes, we were a big group and a hungry one at that!We were also treated to some of their Christmas specials and here are the vegetarian picks - spinach and corn tart and veg stroganoff.My absolute favourites were the broccoli and cheddar soup which can be a meal by itself (attn. Zomato Gold members!), the paneer burger which was really huge, the paneer steak which was out of the world yummy, and do I even have to mention the parmesan pasta? :)Last but not the least is the green garden pizza - my absolute favourite, and my wife, who normally stays away from pizzas couldnt just stop eating!Fond(of)ue by Fromage is definitely an awesome place not just for food, but to even spend a quiet evening alone, or with a bunch of friends. This restaurant ws a pleasant surprise. They do do justice to their cheese themed menu. Probably one off the best places to have a plate of good pasta in Chennai . Service was excellent . Quiet ambience.

Good ambience, courteous service, continental fare, all dishes have cheese in them so this is a place for cheese lovers. Can get a bit on the heavy side for seniors. I suggest you include a few non cheese dishes as well. The fish was prepared really well.

My experience in Fromage at Egmore was ecstatic! It was in deed the cheesiest restaurant in the while on Chennai! The decor and ambience was french themed with the classic book shelf wall with interesting books. I am a pizza lover and i ordered Fromage overload pizza which was the definition of a perfect cheesy pizza! This pizza had 4 types of cheese in one pizza! I could differentiate the different textures and tastes of each type of cheese. I enjoyed the blueberry cheesecake which was limited edition; infact took away home 2 portions :) overall a very delightful experience and will defiantly visit again!

A calm and a cozy place to hangout.. I went there alone and was surprised to see the collection of books they had.. I enjoyed my ME TIME there reading a garfield book. a perfect place to have small meetings with a couple of people.The food was too cheesy and I loved it. I just had one chicken lasagna and it was yummy. The staff were courteous. The e-menu concept was also a good one in these covid times!!

If you enjoy loads of cheese, youve come to the right place. To me, the true test of cheesiness (!) is a good ol pizza... and the veg Fromage Overload lives up to its billing! Some might actually find it overpowering.The Pesto Tagliatelle and Cheesy Cream Rainbow Tortellini were delicious. The Grilled Veg Lasagne was a bit of a letdown as the tomato flavor overwhelmed everything else. The Onion Rings starter was tasty but not outstanding.We ordered an entree each, which turned out to be too much, so we wound up too full to even attempt their mouthwatering Death by Chocolate, much to our disappointment!

And the way they displayed without printing the rate is pukka luring the customer to pay.. For 10bottles worth 8liter swe have to pay 1490

3 friends and I had gone to Egmore Fromage, as we didnt get reservations in MRC Fromage 🙊. This is a place wed all been wanting to go for a long time and finally decided to visit the place before another lockdown comes into force :PThe Peri Peri Fried Chicken starter was good. It had good quantity as well, that was sufficient for 4 of usAnd it was better than the Goey Cheese Balls starter, which only had 5 pieces in it, but the sauce it was accompanied with was tasty.And assuming that the portions will be small, we order a pasta each for the main course and 2 of us gave up mid-way 😂 the portions were large that we had to really take our time and finish the plate. It was soooo filling, and that too we didnt order anything too cheesey. We ordered 1 veg lasagna, 1 non-veg lasagna, 1 veggies pink sauce penne pasta & 1 chicken pink sauce penne pasta. Phew, it was a task to finish the plates and like I said, 2 if us literally gave up and didnt finish the food. We also ordered a 4 chocolate milkshake (cold) which was yummy and that was decent size, which we were able to finish up.Over all, for all these 8 items, after using Zomato Pros 20% off, we paid Rs.2,300/- which I feel is a good price for a nice pasta place.And when wed gone (weekday dinner) there wasnt anyone else in the Egmore branch, so we had the entire place to ourselves and so we bunch had a blast 🎉

The pizza and pasta were good but all their starters including their cheese fountain tasted bad. We were served fried chicken sausage for the cheese fountain which was nasty and the peri peri chicken to too spicy and salty. The food was served late and we constantly had to remind them to being our order. Absolute waste of money.

The MRC nagar fromage had a better ambience than the Egmore. The food was good and must try the cheese fountain.

Nice and cute. The ambience is spot on. The food is great. The stewards are knowledgeable about the items on the menu. They were quite helpful in zeroing on our food selection. Good old country music playing in the background is an added bonus. There are a lot of books placed on the bookshelves. They are not meant for casual reading. I would have preferred the availability of magazines. Not to bother as it is a trivial matter. Do not go alone as the quantity served is sufficient for two. Felt the pricing a little high.

The cafe is well maintained with very good service. The ambience gives you happy vibes. The food is delicious. The continental dishes are as good as you would think. Worth the price. Just wish the place would have been a bit bigger, given the standard. One of the best cafes of Chennai hands down!

The food quality in egmore fromage was really bad and had very bad experience

Very disappointed with our visit to Fromage Egmore . Made a reservation and went there for our anniversary and left with disappointment. None of the dishes we ordered were available . We finally got fed up and left , the waiter had no idea about the dishes and kept going back n forth to ask someone if each dish was available. The Instagram page should mention that they dont serve certain dishes at the Egmore branch. We requested 6 dishes from the menu they gave us and None of them were available. Absolutely disappointing Experience

They were able to explain the content in each dish before we ordered them.This place is so good, that Ive been there twice already.  Each time we go, we always order different assortments of meat; the beef, lamb, chicken wings, glazed pork and the list just goes on. Each dish is seasoned with its own spices and herbs which come out smelling savory and appetizing, unlike other places that use the same seasoning for most dishes.The pork chops are one of my favourites. They are well seasoned with a mild spicy seasoning and done just right, with the skin a bit crispy and the meat juicy which makes for a heavenly delight. Indeed very delectable and mouthwatering. The beef steak was a medium well one with the flavouring reaching deep into the meat, absolutely scrumptious I must say. The food is really good but they charge more than 100 Rs. For packaged water that comes in a glass bottle, in an attempt to discourage use of plastics. However, this practice doesnt promote avoidance of plastic but rather makes it a luxury, setting out a very wrong message.

I tried chicken Cheese Fountain it was a utter flop. Its a Fountain of disappointment. They served two type fried sausage and a single type fried chicken and am sure that they are using powder cheese for the fountain and three of the chicken outer layer tasted same. For 1350₹ its a wastage of money and a wastage of time . Detailed review will be updated in instagram and tiktok soon. Thanks for the worst experience FROMAGE.

I visited MRC Nagar branch last year and this one in Egmore this time. We ordered Nachos (maybe a wrong choice in the Italian restaurant) , it was just crisps and salsa with little bit of olives and cheese sauce. Not sour cream. We had vegetable lasagne and cheese stuffedn agnolotti. The highlight was cheese but the low-light was it overpowering other flavours . And without wine to wash it down , it was a heavy meal.

Ambience, service is good. But the main thing in a restaurant food not so great ! At least all reviews suggested it was great, but I found it average. Firstly I assumed continental type food, but it certainly is not! I ordered chicken steak, presented beautifully but it turned out heavily indianized ! It was very spicy and even the paneer steak was very spicy ! Quality of chicken was not good, very hard and rubbery! Though paneer was good quality. All in all not a place I will visit again.
