Used to go here for the best filter coffee in the nearby area. This place is jam packed for car parking. Better to walk to this place. Moreover everything is self service here. Used to be cleaner in the previous years but now staff are less and hygiene appears to be questionable

Food is greater in quality. Quantity is sufficient. Coffee here is the paradise. But only when prepared by the one. Sometimes others who make coffee spoil the name. Better look out whos there and order coffee😅😅

Its a self-service restaurant, ok. Do we have to take plates ourselves too! All tables were full with used plates! I sat in the one table adjacent to billing counter. Wow, what a stench! It was clearly the septic tanks smell. BTW, cold samosa (taste was OK) and coffee was hot, but lacked flavour. This Hot Chips needs immediate attention.

Nice franchise exploiting the benefit of bright lights, in some places their name board is bigger than the restaurant, even the name is misleading, its a restaurant but pretending to be a chip shop, like a chai ka dukan.

The worst HOTCHIPS experience.I have been to their t.nagar, Parrys, tambaram and also chrompet many times and every time I feel their quality of food as satisfactory and pricing as fair.Went here last Sunday night with family. Only self service available no service hall. Washroom worst in mainatanence.Food was not at HOTCHIPS experience in taste and quality.Even i told the chutney was already smelled and spoiled but they keep on serving it.Adyar hotchips made the day end bad.

The location of the place is too crowdy and car parking lot are not available, for bikes it is congested.I had a tea in this branch which was not upto the mark that I had in other branches. The Parrys corner one has a better taste in terms of food, tea and coffee.The tea that I ordered was very tasteless. No option of masala tea or ginger tea which is very bad for some standard restaurant who has multiple branches across city.I was not disappointed with other branches.Parrys corner one is very good compared to this.

Taste is not so good

I went to have my lunch here on a weekend. The tables were full, so that I had to wait a few minutes to get one. The lunch was not hot at all, and the taste was just fine. Affordable though. It would be better if the place can be maintained in a clean manner.

All hot-chips are self service one. This is one among them. However food preparation in this place is better than other places wherever i have been. I normally go for a small snacks and coffee here that too only in the evening. Coffee in this place is very good. Maximum two cars can be parked in front.

Hot Chips is one my favourite restaurant and now it became very worst.... Self service is fine but my menu was missed, they delivered to somebody.. Vessels were not cleaned properly... Just check the plates, spoons and tumblers before you eat and before you give to your children... Still i love the coffee....

Visited for lunch on a weekday. Despite of less rush and even though ordered their special combo of veg fried rice and chilly gopi, my order was delivered after 20 minutes only. The food was not at all tasty and I could not eat it completely. Better Cleanliness and proper maintenance of the shop is recommended.

I love dosa....

The food is fine but I believe they can maintain a bit more hygiene and quality. A lot of instances of handling food with bare hands. This place used to be a lot better from what I remember.

This place stand in busy road. It has two floors, ground floor for self service and first for table service.The food quality and taste is average. Could be better for the price they charge. Has a small parking space for cars and big one for bikes separately.Will cost at least 300rs for decent dinner for two.

Located at a nice place, and also cost wise better than other hotels. Only two cars can be parked so cant go in car during peak hours. Ground floor is self service area and so no need of any tips to servers. First floor is for serving area,and also washroom is present in first floor. The coffee / tea section is present at the entrance in ground floor. So after buying token we should get it from outside. Overall a good vegetarian hotel inside the city.

Not the place it used to be. Very poorly maintained. . They can do so much given the area that they are situated in. The ambience is very unwelcoming..

Visited around 9pm here they were in hurry to close the restaurant and what ever we ordered to barrer he simply going to kitchen and coming saying sir not available..chapati, parotta, idly, vada....even if these common items unavailable means what food do you have? Unnecessary waste of our time and ate plain dosas there that also not worthy only sambar available no chutney there.

Hot chips seems to have become quite costly. And these rates do not justify their ambience and service. Had to wait 15 min for my food. And each dish costs around 70rs. The only point in their favour is that the food still tastes good.

Good place for coffee. We tend to come here very often for a coffee at the end of a ride early in the morning. Hot chips opens by 615 am or so for coffee and hence very convinient... nice location too...
