Dindigul thalappakatti is busy in advertisements & creating brand value rather than concentrating on food quality & taste. It’s not the same old thalappakatti that you people are thinking off. We tried their special mutton biryani ( no mutton pieces & taste 👎 ), mutton kola briyani ( bittersweet in taste ) , sear fish fry ( no aroma looks like they have used the old stock) & adai Kozhi parotta.DTK Follows covid 19 protocol.Staffs are friendly.Service ⭐️⭐️No parking facility.Special Briyani is not worth of taste & money.

Recently ordered Seeraga Samba Mutton Biriyani Jumbo Box from Dindigul ThalappakattiSeriously disappointed by the taste and quantity... there were nly 6-8 very small pieces of mutton🙃 taste was bit okay... totally disappointed not worth the money paid... Dindigul Thalappakatti Need to improve, theyre one of the best and tastiest Biriyani providers in Chennai once now they totally backs the Tastiest race🥲...

I ordered parcel of 2 CB,1 Chicken 65 and 1 thumps up on 10th Sept 2021As per my order they packed it nicely and sealed .When i reached home i didnt find thumps up in the sealed pack.Shop guys didnt counter check the order .I am staying little far from parrys its not worth for coming back to your get only thumps up.In future plz be alery

Good place for non veg but they have only biryani is option for rice, if some body likes plain rice with gravy then dont opt for this place.

Signature place of Chennai. Dont just miss this if you are in Chennai. Focused more on traditional taste rather than texture show off . I personally suggest to go with Mutton biryani than chicken biryani. But in the end its upto you. Good ambience and air conditioned too in warm chennai. Enjoy :):):)

Bad experienceSee...I have aksed for kushka rice made from chicken biryani..But he said that is not available.He suggested chicken 65 biriyani..we ordered.But we didnt like and asked the server..he said it is veg...with chicken 65 at top..Moreover rice was not Very old...And full of rice balls.. instead usual thalppakatti style

The Biryani was Gud, bt as I saw past reviews, before visiting the resturant iz dat the quantity was less, yes I felt dat even the meat 🍖 pieces also were less in quantity. nd I dnt knw y they dnt use basmathirice, they r using regular homely rice, I wanna taste their rice recipes wit basmathirice too, I wish in future they give a try on dat too, the picture which iz rice nd piece was chicken Biryani, nd the parcel ones was chicken nd mutton Biryanis, I want to mention dat their parcel system was nice they packed with super care, very nice they even gave their hotel food menu.

Entered the hotel 1.50pm Heavy crowd...counter surrounded and many seats occupied with food deliver persons , Hard to find a good place to sit.Seated at 1.55., waited...Waited...Waited.... Finally by 2.10pm one person finds us and took order asked him why so late to get my order.. He replies we are busy in our online orders... I learnt a new lesson direct walk in customer has no important.Finally got my ICE COLD BIRIYANI.I am not in against of any person issues with this hotel, I really love the taste of this Hotel Biriyani and other foods.. if this feedback really worth to the management.,Not Happy with my visit here.All this message typed in time to pay my bills... No person come to my table to give my bills. Still waiting for my bill....

I love this place for their mutton kola Urundai and their speciality seeraga samba mutton biryani. I drool for their gulab jamun with icecream dessert everytime.

Best for Seeraga samba biriyani. Starters were awesome. One of best places for authentic south indian food.

DTB has evolved more like the branding of MacD and Dominos. Leveraging on the ancestral branding and the fun games on the table spread. Food and service was good.

Food is very delicious...But service is very poor...They will forget part of order and after reminding them, they will again take time and give you the side dish after you finish the main dish...If you want to taste the food, go for it with disclaimer.But do not take any guest with you, you will be disappointed with the service.

Food was worst biriyani tasted as rotten may b dur to covid pandemic they stoped cooking good stuff.

I got half of my order after waiting for half an hour . The other half didnt come even after eating the first half so had to cancel the other half. Briyani tasted good. But Kola urundai gave me a huge disappointment .

The place is mostly crowded. Located in a busy street near to the Madras Highcourt it is always bustling with customers for dine in as well as take out. Wanted to have Mutton Bieiyani, but by the time we reached (2PM), most of the biriyani were finished. Had chilly chicken biriyani which felt weird at first (Chinese and Indian collaboration) but it was a refreshing change from regular kind of biriyanis. Loved it. Quantity is plenty and the rice was tasting like authentic Thalappakatti style. Highly recommend for biriyani and more in their menu.

I understand we dined at DT quite late, but we still feel the serving of food could be done faster. The naan that we ordered were crisper than normal, the tikka in the menu was in skewers, but what we got was not the same.

Tasty food. Good service ever after 10 PM. freshly prepared Indian breads like Naan, parota, especially wheat parota was very soft and tasty.Manager was kind and suggest best foods available at the time.

The Restaurant is in Good location also neat maintenance. But service staff are very irresponsive. They not provided me what I ordered. Instead they giving what I doesnt want. I ordered 2 chicken biriyani and barbicue but the service staff provided mutton Biryani . I said I didnt order, after then again they provided me same mutton Biryani.Again they providing me the same.After I said one more time .Then they provided what I ordered.The Staff was not taking care of Customer their motto is only on profit which is not providing the customer need.Even though briyani cost twice the price of other hotels but no Value for money...The management need to take care of this.

We have ordered mutton biryani and Ceylon parrotto. Mutton biriyani taste is good and price also acceptable but the parrotto price is 154 ruppes each which is not worth for 50 ruppes. Due to the covid reason they have not provide menu card so we have ordered few parrotos without knowing the price.
