We chose the place owing to its open space, since we two families had a kid each.Its an amazing place with great music and garden for sitting. The swimming pool adds to its beauty.The food is not the best in but the overall experience makes it worth visiting.Its definitely a hidden gem in Zirakpur.Cost for 2 : Rs.2000

Dak Bunglow by Whispering Willows is located on the VIP Road Zirakpur, Chandigarh.Its a vintage bunglow with English interiors. There is ample of comfortable sitting space both indoor and outdoor.The surrounding are soothing and peaceful that make you feel close to the nature. The vibe is very cosy and welcoming.The menu offers Italian and Labenese cuisines with filling amount of portions and good quality and taste. However the price point is on a higher end.The staff is professional and quick. They add up to the overall hospitality.

A lovely cute place situated on VIP Road Zirakpur. A lavish big bunglow converted into a restaurant and the decor is to die for. Ample ample sitting space available both inside and outside. There is pool also which and you can enjoy a romantic meal alongside it.Food is yum, mainly labenese but prices are on a higher side.Parking space available, a very good option for a family or couple meal dates.

Overcrowded in peak hours, I had 2 meals here on the same day.Lunch was perfectly fine, but dinner was horrible, poor taste, overcrowded.There was a family having 10-12 people on that table, who were very loud, kids roaming here and there, one of them broke glass as well, but the staff was least bothered about the discomfort to other guests.Ambience was awesome.

Good food and great ambience...a must visit place

The food was delicious, the ambience was great. However the manager and the staff are lazy and very slow in responding to the customer needs.I went on my birthday to Dak Banglow with my family. Firstly we were sitting outside, after a while everyone started feeling cold. We asked the manager that we need to shift inside as its cold and also the food is getting cold, he said he cant do that even when they can do it by rearranging some chairs. it was only when we went inside and told them no point of staying they agreed to set up a sitting for us inside.We went there with an expectation of getting service of a fine dining luxurious resort where they do the best for the customer and understand there needs, however this was not the way we were treated at this place.I shall not visit this place again, as there are many other options available where we get good service, ambience and food.

Excellent 5star experience. About 3 acre bungalow turned into a restaurant. Food is great and the ambience of bungalow in itself makes you feel awesome.

A great place to get good food thats a mix of indian with the western and unwind with friends. My advice, go on a weekday n you may have the feeling of being the sole occupants. A green oasis in the midst of crazy zirakpur high rise developments and a lil gem largely unexplored

An old palatial bungalow converted to a multi cuisine cafe. The foods good but the ambience is amazing. This is also the only location where my 30 something sister got scared for the first time in her life as she thought something spooked her in the bathroom ( a ghost, LOL)!

Within the city a place to calm,relax and feel the greens with your loved ones. Food is amazing.

I like this place a lot. It has got an ambience that takes you back to the 90s.. Good food topped with great drinks make it even more enjoyable. Service is good, average serve times are 5-10 minutes. A nice and different experience from malls or conventional restaurants..

Dak Bunglow with its sprawling lawns, peaceful & romantic cabana seating around the swimming pool has been our favoured destination for me & my wife on many lazy Sunday afternoons. The food is equally breathtaking & consistent in quality & quantity with the Vegetarian Mezze Platter, mushroom canapes wowing us as much as the Indian fare with the succulent Paneer currys & the signature Dak Bunglow Black Dal. The service is polite & non intrusive. A suggestion, to have more options in local & imported beers would be nice.
