For me, this is one of the best parks in Chandigarh. The place is extremely peaceful and the vegetation has grown in a beautiful way. It’s very calming and relaxing.

But there are some good shops available in Sector-16 around 200 mtrs away from the entrance of this garden.How to reachIf you want to come by Train then Chandigarh is an important railway station and is well connected to major cities in India through daily trains. Train from New Delhi to Chandigarh The Shatabdi Express runs two or three times daily from New Delhi to Chandigarh. Once you have reached Chandigarh, getting a cab or Taxi from the airport, bus stand or railway station is not a difficult task as there are a lot of them who can take you there.

One of the open, big and beautiful place in chandigarh, specially if you want peace and sit in between greenry and nature. In evening you may find some people come for walk or jogging.. but all over it is nice to relax.. no market or eatable can be found, you can bring anyeatable here from outside. There is small hut shop near the entrance, Currently I find that the shop is open from long time. Even if closed you may find a shop in sector 16 market.

It was a quiet place with greenery all around, totally clean no litter around, large tracks spread across the whole park, its a very large park with overwater small bridges inside making it a perfect place for a photoshoot.

A very nice park in sector 16, on one side is cricket stadium and on the other side is Rose Garden, very well maintained garden by the authorities and a great place to enjoy walking and do jogging. Also there is open air gym installed where people do exercise. All in all a good place to enjoy the greenery with 👪 and friends 🙂

Its a well maintained, beautiful park located across the road opposite the most beautiful rose garden and its in between rose garden and cricket stadium in very peaceful sector 16.its inaugurated by chief commissioner of Chandigarh T N Chaturvedi in April 1978.its very peaceful park for morning and evening walking.Heres several types of plants and Trees also with medicinal plants.heres you can enjoyed the photography and see the curved bridges with stream.

One of the good place for runner and fitness enthusiastic. There is one Open Gym also and you will find a good crowd of fitness freaks during morning and evening hours. Parking space is available in front of Shanti Kunj but you have to loose your pockets for that. Clean restrooms are there and Shanti Kunj is one of the cleanest Park in Chandigarh. Also this good option for Tourists to visit and get clicked.
