It was one of the worst experience / stay. Property is in pathetic condition. Torn bedsheets, drain pipes blocked in the room, no cleanliness in the rooms, stained mirrors, limited food items in buffet on the name of covid cost cutting i believe ! horrible

Big Spacious Rooms 500+ sq feet area of the room! Wonderful service and 24*7 food deliveries, what could be more great! In addition they are friendly about birthday parties and they allow guests in your room but guests cannot stay overnight in the room which is great for organising Birthday parties in your room!

Overall stay was ok but not so good. Rooms were clean but the infrastructure needs repair. Wooden cabinets were deteriorated and need renewing. According to the property in current state, the price is very high. You can get better property than this in better price. service was very slow. wifi had issues. Food was ok not so great. Dining staff arrogant sometimes. Experience with family was ok . safe for families and kids. But being a 5 star hotel expectations were more and it really needs to improve more

First things first, its not a resort kind of place. Its a hotel. So there are no activities to be done around in this property.It just has a swimming pool, which was closed in accordance with the government regulations at that time.Coming to the hotel, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. Although my request for a discount for the in-house restaurant was promptly declined. The cost of the food is on the higher side.The rooms have pretty large bathrooms, but they dont have a bathtub. A few of the toiletries were missing which had to be requested separately. They are present only in the luxury suite.Our inclusions had a breakfast included, and the buffet was strictly okay. They had good variety, but the taste of a lot of items was not upto the mark.So if youre going just on a business trip, this property might make sense. But if youre looking for something more resort-like, Id advise you to stay away from this.

Worst experience , worst hotel ever, today 02-oct-2021 m staying dere , firstly they are charged Rs. 200 for valet parking, either all 4 & 5 star properties proides it free, after that their reception representative didnt receive your calls after check in, room is toooo dirty nothing like a 3 star property even,, i ordered coffe from the resturant first they take order then call after 20 mnts tht our machine is not working we will offer you tea, we understand dt and ordered tea, when their waiter comes to room for serving us tea, he told us for the bill of the tea, i told him we will pay tomorrow at the time of checkout, he said ok, but after some time he will come back and said no mam you have to pay the will right now, nd manager asking for it,, means seriously😡😡😡😡 worsttttttttttttt hotelllll worst food and worstttttt hospitality ever

The Lalit is a lovely property but which gives a slightly decrepit feel. Cleaning of the rooms leaves much to be desired. The buffet breakfast was sadly disappointing in variety and quality even though I was there on a weekend and the hotel was full up.The positive point is the room which I stayed in, it was large and had this amazing glass wall which looked out over a lot of greenery. Spent a lot of time just sitting there with my drink staring out of the window

The property is excellent but poorly managed. Inexperienced Staff who were rude with extremely slow in response. Rooms were full of moisture odor and smell. We order basic snacks like fries and Paneer tikka which was pathetic. quality of fries were bad small sizes ( which should have wasted) and tikka was not properly marinated and grilled.Moreover there were lots of arguments on accepting the complaints. While departing we requested for water bottle which took 20 mins to arrange. Overall very bad experience and spoiling brand image.

We had our wedding ceremony on 10th Sept 2021 evening at Lalit & there was another prior party in the morning and Lalit folks handed over the hall to us at 4:30 pm for flower & dj setup.During the entire journey from booking to the actual day of function the amount of support from the coordinator Rumit & Lalit folks was pathetic. They & their appointed Vendor Florist - Naina’s team - Upneet & Vendor DJ - Ground Shakers - Amit Yadav caused ‘n’ number of huddles.Food was not upto the par as well except for baked gulab jamun, they were adding unused plates to the count to charge more. Florist did not put actual flowers & used fake flowers while at the same time did lesser setup then initially agreed upon. DJ did not play songs at the bride’s entry as per her wish & even the requests from guests was not entertained by DJ Sheebu from Groundshakers at all plus our pre-wedding shoot video they played after reminding / requesting multiple times.We paid Rs 2.5 lakh to florist & Rs 33,000 to the DJ.

It was very funny that the hotel was charging 200 rs for wallet parking for customers even staying with them. I have never seen this in any hotel of the standard of LAlit. We are a regular customer of Lalit Delhi and that has unmatchable services. But Lalit Chandigarh is a black sheep in the chain. The food quality was very bad, absolutely no bakery items or English items on the breakfast, total cost cutting on even coffee cups - that being served in paper cups. Very bad food taste. For that matter no butter or jam also on the breakfast table. No table mats and cloth napkin for breakfast , I couldn’t believe it . For that quality of services , you need not pay nearly 10k to the hotel for no reason. Last of all , we asked for water bottles while leaving, there were no water bottles in the hotel . Is that really a 4 star hotel? Is that really linked to the original chain of Lalit hotels ?

The Lalit is a brand because of its staff, their manager VISHAKA was very helpful, responsible, caring and above all very humane, she took extra care of our kid who was alone in room because of our professional commitment, Thankyou VISHAKA!!

When we reached the hotel, we were asked by the staff to park the car at the farthest end of the parking. Later we could see cars parking exactly where we were parking earlier. The reception staff just handed over the keys, its up to you to explore and find the room. The room would have a great view due to a large window, but unfortunately, it was foggy and as told by the bell boy it was the same for all rooms, which we believed, we should have checked other rooms. Room Lacked drinking Glasses and Water bottles, when asked for these things, water was delivered after half an hour, in a way that I almost felt guilty of asking for it. Room Service was another gem, when asked about the menu we were informed that the menu will be available when we scan the QR code on TV, the menu didn’t have any drinks and when we asked for drinks menu from Room Service, the reply was Aapko kya chahiye, aap batao? and when we asked for the menu again, we had to share the number to receive the menu on Whatsapp. Also, you have to pay in immediately for anything you order in Room Service. For Dinner, we visited reception to inquire about options, which they were completely unaware of. In the restaurant, no staff was present at entry, and once in, no one helped us to the table, or inform us about choices/options, even after waiting there for a while, so we retired to our room and ordered from the room service menu. The food delivered was Nice. The night was another fun experience, as we were not able to sleep as the hotel has given 8-10 rooms to some group who were partying all night in their room right above ours and after bearing with noises, till 1 AM we finally complained to Reception, and hotel staff responded by sending the security to their room, and other guests also complied for almost next 5 mins, when we complained again then we were offered another room at 2 AM, then only we could sleep. And to our surprise, this room had a very clear Window, with a view. Liar Bell Boy! And all essentials were present, which gave us a comparison, for what our room lacked. Breakfast Buffet was simple, not many options, South Indian items were a very cheap imitation of some street cart, Pao Bhaji had aloo sabzi for bhaji, Croissant was also a good failed attempt, only good thing I found there was Vanilla Shake. While checking out, the reception was even more inhospitable than while at check-in. Carried all our bags to the car and drove home Feeling really terrible about our decision and expectance of decent service from a so-called 5-star hotel. For First and Last stay with The LaLiT.

Nothing like a 5 star anymore...it used to be our favorite place but I guess pandemic has hit the hotel businesses around the world really hard and it was surely visible.I hope they improve their food quality,lavish buffet spreads and services with time.

Had an event of my parents wedding anniversary here. Hotel completely failed to fulfil given commitments. We were asked to take twin bed rooms despite of clear understanding of getting all king size rooms, had a difficult time to manage required rooms. Had rare experience of checking in room & then found someone was already there!! This could have been extremely embarassing for the people staying inside & us as well.We booked gala dinner with minimum billing & discussed hotel membership would be given in case there is a shortfall, hotel staff convienently refused to honor it during final billing. We had a loss of Rs 35k! Wouldnt recommend to anyone.

Very poorest stay i ever had.. Half the dishes from their food menu, they dont have or can not provide.. secondly the room service is very poor and slow. I ordered food at 6:30 and it came 8:00 that too i had to call several times. Their policy is not appriciateable, after every food order u need to pay the amount by hand, i could not understand they dont trustcustomer and the person who is giving .... for one night , will run away with you food bill.? And in morning first of all i ordered club sandwiich and juice as for breakfast, and even they dint had that and said after 12 u can get, though i was paying seperately for that too and while check out again the service is very poor, had to call 5-6 times to send someone for lugguage...I am totally not satisfied with my stay , i highly do not prefer this hotel for a stay to anybody, i will never recommend this hotel to stay and spoil your night. So beware of all these facts before booking it.

To have a leisurely breakfast and also not impressed with the spread in the hotel, stuck to all time favourite Anda Parantha. Not the classic one but here is a hack.The server can be asked to get one a freshly made Aloo Parantha from the kitchen and not the reheated ones from the buffet. And it can be also asked in the Live Egg Counter to provide a plain Omelette. Normally, both arrive simultaneously.

The food is quite nice and tried once. So i got an offer using goibibo app during ipl. I had the meal at nominal price than others. I had quiet a handful of meal. Overall a great experience to have a meal at reasonable cost that too in a 5 star property..Lovely veiws are present from the room windows. The hotel has a 360° view. Present in the heart of the city. They provide a buffet thats worth appreciation. Great food. Swimming area has a good hygiene and environment. They have a club in the lobby, Kitty Su! Kitty su had great food and an amazing nightlife. Also, they have different food halls and waiting complexes. Loved my visit to this place

They say its 5 star hotel but they need to improve kitchen and as well as room lighting and bathroom. Overall I can say its 4 star hotel.

The hotel has lost its charm now. You do not get the 5-Star hotel feel.No sanitization done during entering.The breakfast has become really bad, with very limited options. 0 options of non-veg and 3-4 options for veg which includes bread variants.Do not recommend it now.

Good Hotel with Calm and Peaceful ambience

1. No discount on room rates, even after applying coupon code at Facebook page/Lalit website2. Almost all 5-star hotel and even 4-star hotels offer free valet service, but here there is a charge of 200 INR for valet service.3. No greeting by staff, and are unaware of policies of hotel and asked me to pay the full amount for 5 rooms for 2 days that I booked via their website and even provided card details (before check-in and not even willing to handle room keys until full payment is done) . It results in waiting time of almost 15-20 minutes and check-in experience was very bad !!4. Room service is pathetic !!!!!! It took almost 1-2 hours to deliver a water bottle or let say tea/coffee sachet or anything you want. It not only happened with me once but multiple times and with my other guests too.5. Have you heard that your personal colored towel is missing after room cleaning service and even after requesting multiple times I have not got it back.6. Atlast, there printer was not working when i asked for hard copy of bill... they told me that they will mail me on my email Id, but even after requesting them multiple times over email and phone calls, they have not sent me the bills. Today is 7th March and my duration stay was from 20-22 February.A breakfast buffet is okay, not many options.

The warm greet of Sat shri akal and Namaste before entering the 5star hotel is so welcoming! The crew follows all precautions with respect to Covid...whether it is sanitising or temperature check of the guests. The Indian-ness can be happily noticed in the hotel management team and employees, when they say, Namashkar everytime you call at the reception, overall a 10 on 10 on almost everything. Good luck for 2021 👍🏻

Its a nice hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Got a room with the forest view. A bit secluded from the city the traffic, but chandigarh is a small city you can go to any place within 15-20 minutes max. Their gym is amazing and well equiped. Breakfast was tasty but they had a little less options as compared to other 5 stars i have been to. Overall its a nice property to stay if you are getting it in 4-5k. one main thing they dont have bathtubs, which is a little turnoff.Rest all great.

A nice setting for the hotel amidst lot of greenery. The red plumerias (champa) blooming in the gardens were an absolute delight.The rooms were nice and comfortable and the staff was cordial and courteous.
