This is one of the cleanest hotels you will ever stay at. The grounds are spacious and well kept. The benches around the property are so nice to sit and relax to watch all the buggies going by, the pond is a new feature and very relaxing. Updated the carpeting and put in very comfortable recliners in the rooms, an added bonus after walking around. This is the best locations to walk to the rock garden and downtown area

Wonderful boutique hotel steps. Large rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. Excellent customer service. The front desk do an incredible job of accommodating customer needs. Our trip was a friends reunion. Cozy on both the first and second floors made great meeting spots for us.

Ive heard good things about Shagun and decided to stay here for my birthday weekend. The hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, which we chose from the wine rack in the room. The hotel is in a good location, has a boutique feel, modern and clean. We had a great stay, though, and would stay again. Oh and the staff were friendly and attentive.

We flew in to attend a concert and were wonderfully surprised at the perfect location, ambience and beautiful corner room! Transportation was quick with very easy access for shopping and restaurants. The roof top bar wasn’t open because it was a Tuesday night stay and breakfast was basic but we enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel is very clean and the rooms are clean and wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was great the lot was nice and clean. The breakfast room was very clean and the staff did all they could do to make sure we had a good breakfast and answered all of our questions. The area was very nice because you got what you wanted.

Rooms were in pathetic condition. The rooms were stinking like fish. The only thing which made me stay here was the supportive behavior of the staff and the fact that it was late in the night. It didnt have an AC. Mattress was hard. Walls were dirty. Would never like to visit anywhere close to it as well.Rooms and property- 1/10Staff- 8/10

The free breakfast was amazing!! They will do made to order omelettes! Wide variety of foods to choose from. Loved the decor too! Comfy, clean, friendly, dint smell, wide and airy. Will definitely return!

Location is nice and peaceful. Food was good and response from the staff is nice. They are well behaved, and respectful. Overall okay for the price. Cheap and you get what you pay for. The only issue was the water force in the bathroom.

Very nice stay at Hotel Shagun. Staff was very helpful, from providing extra towels to dividing the cost among the three of us to our individual credit cards. Nice rooms, with extra sink and vanity outside of the bathroom area, enabling all three of us to get ready at the same time.

The staff was friendly and the food was good, but the rooms are not so clean and it was inside a small gali. No elevator (rooms were given on 2nd floor), No seperate parking space (parking space is shown under facilities), service is slow. In one of our rooms geaser was not working, they said they would look into it but we had to leave and the problem was not solved.On the Oyo app this hotel has a 4.5 rating out of some 600+ rates and the actual standard was no where close to that, I have clicked some pics to send the same along with my review on Oyo app but there was no option. While we were checking out the staff asked for my phone for booking id or something and maybe gave the rating themselves, thats the only possible explanation I could think of for such high ratings. Oyo should take care of this reviewing system and also compulsory include the pics of the front of the hotel and street which it is situated on.Anyway, if youre travelling with elders and in your own car go for a hotel with proper parking and elevator facilities, looking into reviews from different apps and not be swayed by just one.

All good, busy weekend. Prices here keep on creeping up. As this happens, the value goes down. I know that is a factor on why we dont visit more often. However, the facility is very nice. Perhaps they will consider some adults only hours in the pool area so that the adults can have a little quiet time.

Hotel catering starts after 8 am. Even tea is not available before 8 am. Stay was good and location is also good easy access

We have stayed at The Shagun Hotel when in Chandigarh on business twice now. I LOVE IT!! The staff is fantastic! Sherman! We will stay at The Shagun for ALL trips to Chandigarh from now on. Amazing views, beautiful clean rooms a perfect mini bar, fantastic room service and an awesome roof top bar. Also, location! I HIGHLY recommend The Shagun Hotel! The hotel was beautiful - centrally located for what we wanted - the Chandigarh rock garden is right across the street and the staff was super friendly. The room was spacious and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Will for sure be back!!

Located at sector 42 locality not upto the mark but the hotel is fine. Rooms are tidy dont expect too much. Food is surprisingly good according to the place and the prices. Service is good staff is very helpful and welcoming.

In comparison to all the OYO hotels this is the worst one I would like to rate. The images shown here do not match the actual rooms. The rooms are too small. The rooms on ground floor are too damp and moisture is too heavy. The hotel rooms are too scattered. The mattress are not too comfortable and the AC does not have a closing/opening door. My friends had booked two rooms out of which they were not given keys of one room. On ground floor there was a very bad smell of alcohol and cigarettes.

AC not working properly. Bed had some bedbugs. Mattress was totally uncomfortable. Blanket they provided was in terrible condition.

The services by the hotel were okay-ish but the rooms and bathroom were small. Bedding had holes. Though the breakfast was good.

Horrible room, dirty linens, dirty towels, bugs. We asked for an upgrade and were more than willing to pay but were told no. The door jam was broken and the only way to secure the room was from the inside with multiple deadbolts.

The place is not secure you dont feel safe here

Very bad experience as water was leaking from roof and walls and paint was falling from ceiling on bed. Geyser was not working. Room keys were not available. Room was not provided as shown in pictures and when complained they said that all other rooms were already occupied at 12:15 pm only
