Good experience in hotel and hotel staff also good

I have been to this hotel thrice and each time Ive seen a significant improvement in the services. The staff is polite, the amenities in terms of the pricing are fine and the rooms are clean. The hotel is pretty much near to all the major attractions in Chandigarh. Theres no lift just in case thats a concern for anyone (I guess a majority hotels dont have one). The only issue I have is with the complimentary breakfast (usually Ive seen in other hotels, theres some change in the menu but here I got just the same thing everyday, pls look into it guys :P). The quality of food from their own menu is much better. Rest all is fine. Kudos!

Rooms are spacious & location is prime in centre of the Chandigarh..cleanliness is not upto mark..

Beautiful Rooms

The hotel is located at an appropriate location and the rooms are good too. However we faced issues with the food that we had ordered in the hotel. The quality and quantity of breakfast is not at par. They do not have a buffet system and provide limited quantity of breakfast. Moreover, we had only 3 options to choose from. Dissatified with the overall experience.

I feel glad to stay with Hotel Amar. Front desk OYO boy is very coaprative , supporting and well experienced. Wholehotel staff is very polite and coaprative. Chef is well experienced. Everything is good. Hotel Amar is not a hotel its another HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Thanks to OYO hm mukesh thakur for corporates with us.

Decent hotel in the middle of the city with affordable tarrifs. This hotel is located in Sector-22A just opposite to Sec-17 ISBT and SSSC Building. Nicely maintained rooms with great level hygiene. Cooperative staff. On call service. Falling in the central location of the city, one can easily find his/her way to any location in the whole Chandigarh.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Chandigarh Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had one great evening here, which obviously also added up to the experience.I am not happy with the room interior as it doesnt match with the pics presented on the websites. The hotel is easily reachable, budget-friendly and the staff is friendly. I havent ever faced any problems with the service, infrastructure or cleanliness - the only downside I feel every time is with the complimentary breakfast. Items that I order from the hotels menu are fine but the quality of food goes down with the complementary one. Other than that, theres no issue !!

Good location. Market near. service was not good as my room was not ready when i got there i had to wait for 30 minutes.Old property. Bathroom was clean but not satisfied. Staff was cooperative but food was ok not delicious.Overall ok hotel

Room is neat and clean. All the necessary and important things are available. Dental kit is not available it was bit surprising as it should be provided. Towels, shampoo and body parts are given. Breakfast is complementary with tea and coffee. In breakfast one can have alu paratha, sandwich and toast. ATMs are there nearby so one can avail cash from there. Ate lunch which was tasty especially the butter chiken I cannot help but to lick ny fingers after having my meal. It was cooked deliciously. Chapatis were also good and tasty.

Everything is good but food quality is zero. Helpers cook best food and chef has no knowledge to cook food. I dont coaprate th chef at all due to his bad food quality as well as bad dealing.

Pathetic service

Old Property, Clean Bathroom post renovations. Dust on furniture. Hot water not working in the room. Central location. Polite staff. Overall experience is below average.

So we visited the place when every other place was in high demand. It was a decent stay. The washrooms though had numerous flaw. The ceiling was removed and the soggy smell from the seepage and dampness couldnt be ignored. The staff was helpful and decent. And the owners were helpful as we had some minor personal issue whereby one of our important document was lost in the transit and we had to obtain a copy for the same so, they had helped us with the same. Except for a little here and there. It was a good stay since the person let us check out little later than 12 cause we had an exam. So yes people were amazingly helpful.

Initially they not provide already booked room. Room was also not good. Lights r not working, only single light working. Holes in bed sheet. Blanket was dirty. Slipper not provide.

Location is good.. near to 17 sec and 22 sec market.. Sec 16 cricket stadium is across the junction. Rooms are spacious but just fine.. not too good. Needs renovation and housekeeping.

Hotel Amar offer neat and clean room with all the basic amenities. I stayed in March 2017 and found the stay worth every penny. Food is a little costly but is tasty to make up for it. Would recommend it to others.

Its not a hotel, its a Guest House. You have to take blanket from Almirah at your own. Blanket had big dirty spots. They havent given the room that I had booked. I paid Highest tariff and got lower category room. Even after 30min. Run hot water was not proper.

Very good service staff is very good and very tasty food here.This hotel is always welcoming, from front staff to restaurant and management to cleaning staff. The foyer is always clean and offers free apples and papers. The rooms are always clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant is exceptional with a great wine list to match. Even when there is several functions on at the same time there is plenty of parking available. Room service is quick and efficient with the food always arriving hot. I highly recommend this hotel to both business and traveling guests.........Great location. My preferred work accommodation. The most comfortable, spacious and clean room & beds while working away. Love the restaurant and menu is interesting and delicious food. Staff friendly and attentive. Location is wonderful for shopping after work.........It was the most perfect day, we had an absolute ball. Thankyou again to the team at the Apollo and special mention to Lisa, she did an amazing job and went over and above to make the day special for us. Feedback is all positive, our guests loved the accommodation, and as for the wedding everyone commented on the venue. We will certainly be telling everyone about you guys at the Apollo. Thank you again for everything, certainly the best day of our lives....

Hotel Staff Manager Mr jitendra was very rude and not supporting at all. whem I was asking to change my room as Room was not Good he told me I n Hindi lena hai to le lo warna koi aur hotel dekh lo. even there was lots of room empty.

Very nice hotel with all facilities and rooms are also very spacious with clean linen. Would recommend to everyone for a great vacation.

Rooms are not clean and well maintained. Before checkout reception boy said to open OYO and rate 5 star. And they do this with all the customers

Service is very poor u need to wait a long for a single order... You have to call them 2-3 times to get ur order.. Overall gud experience Rooms were good, spacious with clean amenities...

Worst service in my life they don’t know how to treat guest we went there 18/09/2019 I booked hotel from MakeMyTrip and it’s confirmed booking once we reach there they said they don’t have room.Even they have room they said pay 2500rs to us we will give u room i m with my family.

Hotel is in great location one of the central location of chandigarh but that is one and only good thing about this hotel the hotel is so old and ot needs upgradation in all thongs from cosmetic to infrastructural. Food it is best you order from outaide zomato and swiggy are the best options because the hotel food is not at all edible then comes the washrooms it was clogged right after i took bath it felt like there will be a flooding situation there were cockroaches in the rooms and the crockery was so dirty

OYOaap give me 73 rupees discount on the booking with this hotel but the hotel chargerd the discounted rupees also this is not a good service. if this was correct then why we book hotel with OYO

Hotel is at nice location. But there is no shower jeln etc in washroom. AC is ok ok. over all not value for money should make a little less in amount that worth it

It is Sad that the room provided was not the one we booked... unfortunately my parents were not that proactive to shift to another room.

One of the worst Oyo hotel in chandigarh .. the staff member are very rude and their behaviour are awkward as they forced me to give 5 star ratings and even they told me write good reviews and rating should be above 3 ratings on oyo facebook page.. Above all room seems to be not clean for more than1 months.

Need to more focus on service .. as after many call for room service only one call grts attanded.. overall gud experience.. room was good, food ok location gud

Well maintained, Behavior is really better and location and food are also good.

Bedsheet were torn and tge quilt was not clean. Cleaning was mot upto tge mark. The food was good though

Facilities like lift was not there. Also when asked for extra bed the blanket given was not clean,it was very dirty. Proper quilt was not there in the room as in other hotels quilts are already there but here it was given only when asked for.

Hotel staff not mannered, cleanliness very poor, food quality very bed, room service very poor, overall experience is very bed.

We stayed in the deluxe room. The room maintenance was very bad. The rooms were not properly cleaned. You can see in the pics that the AC panel was broken, the AC water discharge was in the room itself, the condition of the bathroom door and stains on the quill. At one time the pipe of the washbasin also got broken. The deluxe room were no deluxe at all. Due to this expierence we never tasted the food. The hotel staff service was also slow. To my surprise, the hotel manager told me that the deluxe room are like this only and if I want better room I should have booked super deluxe room **

So many issues with this hotel booking. booked a deluxe room but it looks like standard one. no remote of ac no mirror in the washroom and so many other basic facilities. worst experience

Location is good(just opposite to isbt 17), rooms were well spaced. But the ac was really bad, also it doesnt have a remote to change temperature when asked the staff about the situation, they simple said that is how the ac is and disconnected

Nothing much to expect. Construction is quite old and best thing about this place is the location of this hotel. On main bus stand road very near to Cricket stadium, main bus stand, Sector 17 market, Rose garden etc.
