In search of peace and solace with walking ,we moved towards this Ecological Park a kind of city forest .Vivid medicinal plants , beautiful flowers , variety of fauna paintings all around gives it a unique ambience. Whole premises is so natural , raw and unexplored that I was feeling like discovering something hidden. It has some attractions for kids too in the form of children park and green lawns for outdoor games . Seeing Nakshatra Garden there was like finding a treasure inside forest , it had long pathway of acupressure benefits. This place can be amazing experience for nature lovers who wish to see Sunrises- Sunsets with greenery around , walking with inhaling fresh air and need to spend some time with themselves away from all business.

It is perhaps the largest park in Bhopal spread over many acres. Though the soil type is rocky here, Trees are planted in abundance here by digging holes. Mainly the trees and shrubs having some medicinal values are planted here and it is also known as Aushadhi Park. There is a Nakshatra Van also where plants according to different Nakshatras are planted. The park is being developed continuously. In day time it may appear to be a deserted place but the morning and evenings are quite lively. People living in and around Katara hills just love this place for morning and evening walk, exercise, Yoga etc. It is the biggest bonanza for them besides AIIMS.

The Botanical Garden situated in Katara Hills is a very good place in reality. Here people come for a walk in the morning and evening, although this park can not be used by children for sport, but to see the nature nearby, it is very It is a good place here, forest department is celebrating the occasion of forest festivals from time to time and this Botanical Garden which is on a small hill is made of intensive plantations. If you come here to roam in the morning, you may also see the presence of native and exotic birds in some places.
