A great place to see tribal habitat museum in Manav Sangrahlaya.Human civilization starting from the stone age is well depicted at this place. So many things, a lot of things I would say, are kept from ancient time and are maintained at par level. What a maintenance, hats off to all the people who work there! You will relish each and every thing you see there. Its too good, trust me.Must visit this place in Bhopal. It is so big that it may take your whole day to spent there and understand the human history. But it is totally a worth place to spend your time.To know how we evolved, how we used to love and how we survived? Each and everything that one wants to know, it is there!

(Visited in September 2019) - Its a part of Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalay and perhaps the best part of the museum! This consists of specimen dwelling units of various tribes of India, located near the canteen.

I had been there on my school picnic . I thought if you want to see whole India in one place then you should visit . There its a whole day visit to have fun with your friends and family . This museum depicts the story of mankind in time and space. Located on Bhopals upper lake, Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya can be accessed either from Lake View Road or from another road near Demonstration School. IGRMS has a few permanent exhibitions, broadly categorized as a) Open-exhibitions, b) Indoor galleries (Veethi-Sankul and Bhopal Gallery) and c) Periodical/ Temporary exhibitions. It also has other exhibitions categorized as 1. Online exhibitions, 2. Travelling exhibitions, 3. Special exhibitions and 4. Ongoing exhibitions.love it .

How amazing a museum can be!!! Tribal Habitat in IGRMS is astonishing. An outdoor museum all set by the tribals with their own hands. We have almost all the types of houses and furnitures and regular tools that Indian tribes use. Even the museum tried to create an environment related to the tribal geolocation. They maintain the cleanliness. Though there are lack of guidance while travelling here, the set up of such an outdoor museum is just above the level.

This place has been developed on a top of Shyamla hills like a village, where each house model represent different tribes of India. So at one place one can view lifestyle of different tribes. You will get a nice view of Bhopal city, including some of the beautiful places - Bhopal Lake, Ariport complex, Medical college, and Tajul Masajid on one side, Vidhan Sabha Bhavan, Regional Science Centre, shyamla hills, VanVihar on another. Canteen is decent and clean. While enjoying the local snacks you will feel as if you are actually in a small village in India
