Amazing food! Ive eaten here twice. The first time, the restaurant was pretty empty and the food took a while to be served, but it was well worth the wait. Very good Philly cheesesteak and parket chicken. The 2nd time was 9am on a Sunday. The restaurant was packed. We ordered breakfast and an appetizer and we were fully prepared for a long wait. But the appetizer came out quick and hot. We just finished the appetizers and the food arrived. Very fast for being that packed. Once again, the food was amazing! Dirty omelet, parket bowl, French toast plate, and the sampler. The waitress was also great. Checking on us and filling drinks multiple times, despite the restaurant being very busy. We will be back to try more menu items. Park-Et, kudos on the service and the food.

The cheese burgers and pulled pork were dry, might have been due to the overwhelming amount of customers the workers were trying to take care off. We were there 90 min, time from taking our seats to paying our bill, ( ordered 3 cheeseburgers and the special). Every seat in the place was full. Clearly a local favorite. The price was right $. They had a lot of pie varieties along w a huge selection of different foods. The fried chicken looked great but I would suggest going when not busy. Would try again if we lived closer. 3🌟 is the best I can give due to the wait and quality of the food. Best quality was that it was cheap.

Took almost 30 minutes to get 2 club sandwiches with fries, both the sandwiches and fries were soggy and cold. They also didnt include any condiments for the food so the fries were inedible and the sandwich dry. The desert was good ( peach cobbler & coconut cream pie)

An excellent old school diner. A community gathering spot. They offer classic American midwest meals. My wife described the open face roast beef and mashed potatoes as the perfect mans meal: meat and potatoes, without a vegetable in sight. Save room for cake or pie, or both. Highly recommended.

I took my husband and daughter here on Fathers Day, because this was the only restaurant opened by the time I was off work. I ordered a club sandwich, with an Arnold Palmer, my husband ate 3 piece fried chicken, and our daughter ate the spaghetti. I dont expect much from Diner Food, but I did expect for our server to get my drink right, I even told her that it was half tea half lemonade. Guess what I got? Lemonade. Oh well, no biggie. I expected my food to be decent, but the bacon was burnt. My daughter only ate the spaghetti noodles, she said the sauce wasnt good. My husband ate his chicken, but wasnt impressed. When he and I were home, we both had upset stomachs from the food. Our daughter said her stomach felt on edge. I think next time, well just order breakfast. I think our server was new, so I tipped her 20%. Wishing yall the best, especially during this time, where its tough to find good employees.

Used to be wonderful, now food takes forever, they wait 45 minutes to tell you they are out of something you ordered, and the food isnt near as good. Sad they cant get good people to actually come to work, as it used to be a wonderful place

Most times the meals are great. Sometimes the service is ok. Evenings theres too many young people working and they dont pay attention. Sometimes playing on their phones. Sometimes just talking with each other.

If you Love LIVER and OnionsThis is the place to go on the first and 3rd wed. Of the month. They have good food and great service. Try anything on their large menu I am sure you will enjoy your meal. And there is NO NEED TO DRESS UP. IT IS A FAMILY PLACE. Clean ,Comfortable.

Have been here several times for breakfast and each time the service was second rate. When our order arrived the eggs were cold and the toast wasnt even toasted just slathered were greasey butter. And to top it off now even a second cup of coffee even though the waitress said she would be right back to fill our cups. Needless to say will not be back.

The worse breakfast. I normally am polite but the cook was so bad. My scrambled eggs was almost black. Which at 11a.m. that grill had not been cleaned I assume good or at all. Our gravy was cold and fried eggs was burned all around the eggs. Sadly I support my community but not when ppl dont put effort to satisfy things so ez to make. If grill that nasty I will pass this place off my list afraid of how that kitchen looks. Maybe need Gordon Ramsey visit???

Disappointed With this restaurant . All the food was over cooked even the eggs where brown. Pork tenderloin sandwich was small and dry and didn’t see any breading. Fish was hard and extra fishy. Waffle was burnt. Fried cauliflower was okay but was just at the point of burnt (looked worse then tasted).The service from waitress was very good.Food / portions was not worth the price.Sorry but I will go elsewhere next time.

Took a little day trip from St Louis to Perryville. Naturally, it started with breakfast at Park-Et.

Food I bought was breakfast , wanted egg overeasy and it was hard, waitress took care of it very quickly and was very nice .

Not impressive as I had heard, when we came in only 4 tables had customers, yet staff was very busy entertaining themselves, 3 of us for afternoon dinner My wife and I order the roast beef sandwich with fries and aju , sandwiches were skimpy and brought out with out the aju when asked about it was oh we forgot, waited 10 minutes and was boiling in the bowl, so hot had to wait another 10 minutes for it to cool enough to now dip our cold skimpy sandwich in, didnt say anything as all you had to do was look at it and you could tell and they served it anyway, will not be back

45 minutes to get the food and it was mass up.

1 hour and 5 minute wait on a take out order. and half of the food was cold when I get it home (3 minute drive). was told 20 minute wait for it to be ready. got there 25 minutes later and had yet to even start on my food. and was told it would be 10 minutes. It took 30 more minutes. And its not the first time. I keep saying its just busy well this is the third time Ive had problems spread over a 2 month period. well it will be a long time before Im back!!

Service was slow as heck. Didnt recieve all of our food and the waitress didnt come back to check on us or refill all of the drinks. Took an hour for our food. Catfish didnt have a clean taste.

Pancake was overdone. Soup was cold. Service was good.

Ive eaten here quite a few times over the years usually the food is consistently great. I prefer home cooked meals vs fast food so I hit this place when in the area. The prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. Offers great advise as well. Usually crowded so come early. I would give they a try if you are in the area and make your own evaluations.

Good food. This place can be a little crowded at peak hours because their food is good and people love it. Nice portion sizes and very friendly wait staff make this a great place to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Dont forget to have some cobbler too.

Wonderful for a slice of americana N a absolutely delicious diner at all hours of the day. The wait staff treats you like family and they are absolutely wonderful at service and cooking. I went there for breakfast and it was very good they also have some healthier options if you don’t want so much of a greasy spoon.

I travel all over the country and I am always looking for locally owned restaurants/diners, and Im pretty sure I just found it..the food was AMAZING, its located just a couple of miles off I-55 but well worth the detour! Cant wait to stop in again!
