Jayanagar is an affluent residential and commercial neighbourhood in the city of Bangalorein Karnataka, India. It is one of the zones of BBMP. It is sub-divided into seven wards. A 2010survey by DNA Bangalore ranked Jayanagar as the most liveable place in Bangalore and stillmaintains the old charm of the city.In Kannada, Jayanagar splits into Jaya and nagar literally meaning Victory City. It is notdefinitively known why that is. One school of thought is that Jaya comes from MysoresMaharaja Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar.This park is diagonally parallel to the metro station. Vehicles can be parked outside the parkon the road. There are two entrances to this big park and one of it is just a gate forpedestrians the other entrance had a ramp for entry. There’s plenty of seating all around thepark for the users. The park used natural lighting during the day and it was well lit using thepark lamps after 6pm. Railings are provided on all pathways. Dustbins are provided and thespecial part is this park is a no plastic zone! They have a workout area which is shaded. Theopen gym has good facilities. There is a fenced play area for children and has different kidsequipments. This park is overall maintained very well and is a nice place to relax after a longday of work.

Located in the heart of the city, right next to the Metro Line and between the Jayanagar and RV College stations, this Mini Forest is a green oasis amidst Concrete. Ideal for walking and exercising, this park has a perfectly levelled walking track, and a dedicated exercise area with basic equipment. It also has a childrens play area. A 1 hour walk in the morning inside this mini forest would definitely set you up for the day.

Nice place in the middle of the city. Has a very nice play area for kids, an open gym for elders and a lovely jogging/walking track.

One side is damaged due to metro construction. Towards the north, there are illegal shops selling cigarettes and smokers are a nuisance for walkers because the smoke gets in to the park easily. On the western side at mid point dont be surprised to see some people urinating against the wall facing the park across the street. Exercise machines need repair. People are seen without mask, which is risky.

This is also called as Lakshman Rao park F block. It has nice play area for kids with less crowd. There is also a covered exercise area with all equipment in good condition. Overall it is a good place to visit.

I visited the park for the birthday celebrationBut the person who look after the park didnt allowed us celebrate it. But the place is pretty good for evening jog and walk also for time pass. But quite good place to visit.

A great place to visit of kids. Most entertaining for them. Will be crowded during the weekends especially during the evenings 😅. Great surrounding there. Fresh green trees are there. And also fresh winds available there. Parking is available for two wheelers but tough for four wheelers.

It is a well laid out park. Facilities for children to play and equipment for doing exercises exist But unfortunately due to METRO work one side of the park is barricaded. Seating arrangements.made earlier on that side is a mess now.The park was mosquito free earlier. Unless you are on the move mosquitoes will bite you..Better to avoid this park till mosquitoes are controlled.

This park located on the side of the road from south end circle towards jp nagar which even has Metro line. This seems to be one of the longest park in the town. Filled with old lusty green trees. Beautifully maintained. People with all ages can be seen rejuvenating themselves spending their mornings and evenings here. Also it is a hot spot for young couples.

This is a nice place for morning walks. There is a paved / tiled and tree-lined walk way that takes one along the inside periphery of the boulevard. There are comfortable seatings arranged in different ways to suit ones preference. For the health conscious there is a open air gym. For children there are separate play areas. Diverse flora dot the inside area.But this place is too urbane to be called a forest. Its more of a lung space in a city that badly needs more such places.This place serves those who prefer quiet brisk walking as well as those who couple walking with socialising.I wouldnt miss visiting this place!

Its a public park by the government, where one can do walking, running and its a very best ace for childrens too.The park is having many trees which provides fresh air.And yeah this is called mini forest because as this park consists of huge tress and plants and that cant be seen in Jayanagar traffic area .Its a really very nice that the park is made and helpful for morning and evening walk for childrens, youngsters, and also to seniors to pass the time with Frnds also.

Great park for a quick evening walk. A full round of the park covers about 1.2km. The only downside is that some of the lights towards the metro side are not functional - which makes the evening walk/jog a tad uncomfortable.

Toilets are not maintained

Decent place. Better looking and perhaps better maintained than some other similar parks. The walking paths are narrow for the most part. Many people, especially ones walking in pairs, are not cognizant of others coming from behind who may be walking faster and trying to go past. And I am not talking about seniors or elderly folks. I felt it was fine for a stroll but not so much for a brisk walk or run. The scenery is currently marred by some construction on the metro side of the park.

An awesome place.well maitained,inside the park.But the on going Metro work is a nuisance.At least 30 full grown Road side trees which provided a good canopy covering 4th main were cut about,6 -7months back,which spoiled the good green cover.Yet a good place for morning walkers.The gates are closed at about 11am,denying senior citizens a testing place in the noon.It should be kept open till 1am at least..
