You can spot peacocks and peahens of you are quiet.Make sure that you carry some water when you visit as there arent any shops near the entrance.Please carry a small bag with you for bringing back any garbage that you may produce.

The flora fauna are definitely eye catching and soothing your mind. You get to hear sound of peacock always, also i have seen them too. you can find snakes, wild pig, rabbits and butterflies. You can cycle, jog, run and walk there are many small trekking places which are defiantly must do in action bucket.The Avalahalli is clean and no plastic zone, where each one who enters are responsible to keep the forest clean.there two different entrance, one via main entrance and another via back entrance.The entry ticket is free and timings are Morning 06:00AM to 09:00AM and Evening 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM. Parking facility as such not there but you can park at road side and no issues with same.totally worth for everyone.The best of all..

Great place for cyclists in the middle of thousands of planted trees and lots of peacocks. The trails are best suited for MTB cycling experience with some rocks around for elevation. Well maintained too by people. (Dustbins at prominent points). Looking forward for it to grow more dense.

An awesome place to escape far away from all your pain, tiredness and hustle of the city, enjoy the breeze, hike, cycle with the beautiful views of the hills, trees, chirping sounds of the birds and the clicking sounds of the butterflies...There are so many, like so many in number and varities of butterflies. It has an very good off road track for cyclists which is common for both hikers and cyclists... If youre a nature lover, then definitely you wouldnt feel like returning anytime soon once you have stepped inside.A must visit atleast once and get lost among the trees and nature. Its very vast and if you dont find anyone for atleast a km dont worry there would all be somewhere at some beautiful spots relaxing ahead... Be prepared to cycle or walk for atleast a 10 KM inside to view the entire region.

I wish to see this place just remain or become more beautiful each season passing. I request each person visiting this park to keep clean and dont litter anything, use the bins if required and also the washroom near the entrance.

Its a really good place to visit. Calm and serene.

Worth visiting. No chance of getting lost in it. There are tracks on the ground which helps in navigating around the forest. Network is available at all points so make sure to keep track of your location. Best way to travel will be to continue on the tracks that go towards boundary, as they lead to the top points of the entire area and you can see the top view from them.

Best place for off road cycling around Yelahanka also for walking. One complete Round can range from 8 - 10 km.

Wonderful clean nature preserve. Opens from 6 AM to 9 AM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Plenty of trees, plants, shrubs, flowers, rocky hills, birds, anthills, snakes and other reptiles. Peacocks will welcome you with their resounding calls. Pack snacks and water as there are no shops nearby. Just promise yourself that you will not litter.

Ideal place for hiking, hiking, running or picnics. Best to pick a day that is less sunny. The walking trail is rocky so the place is best visited with sneakers. Do carry your own water and grub because there are no commercial establishments inside or around the forecast.

Predominantly an eucalyptus groove, this place walled off and maintained by the forest dept is a magnet for the likes of cycling and fitness enthusiasts. Multiple trails snake this wilderness giving one the opportunity to get lost in it for a while. Nice place near Doddabalapur highway for walking, jogging and cycling. Full of greenery. Also, good spot for family for having a relaxed walk in the mud road surrounded with trees on both the sides. No dedicated parking available, you will have to park the vehicles in the road side. Slightly crowded in the weekends. If you are lucky, you can spot the peacocks.

Come here with no expectations. THIS IS NO FOREST!! Its just a plantation of Eucalyptus trees :(You must be aware these trees drive away animals and birds.However, now forest department have started planting saplings to creat real forest.Anyways go and spend sometime away from city ...not far away!!

Delightful respite from the crowded areas around. Good place to head out cycling & lovey views.Approach roads can have garbage & one of the approach roads is quite poor (small stretch).There is a tree park as well there.

This is exactly what every city needs. A great place to go for a run, ride a mountain bike or even walk with the entire family. There are peacocks to be spotted and so many other birds too. Please be sensitive to the place and do not litter! A tip however is to carry a basic first aid kit and to remember landmarks as the trail is completely unmarked.
