Both me and my fiancée got operated for lasik treatment for correction of our eyes. I must confess the process was seamless and both of us didnt face any issue at all. A special thanks to our counselor Usha who kept us updated about every next step and is a Saint to talk to. The doctors here suggest customized treatment based on patient eye condition that too without making a hole in patient pocket. Highly recommended.

It had been couple of years since I had a wish to make eye correction and remove spectacles forever. Finally I did in a timeline of a week, I had my tests of eligibility completed on a Friday and we took few days time to decide on a date to do the surgery. The very next Friday the surgery was completed by Dr Rohit Shetty. The hospital is very well organised and had a smooth process complete throughout the timeline. Sir/Madam, I have one very sincere, humble and honest suggestion in the interest of your institution and as well for patients. I visited your hospital near ISCKON during Dec-2019 and Jan-2020 on a 2nd & 4th Saturday. I have myopia and astigmatism and other associated problems since my boyhood days. Off late I started developing multifocal vision problem as I am on the age of 45 which mean I need Short, Intermediate/computer and Long vision glasses to. Though I was wearing progressive lenses which was prescribed through other one reputed hospital As my eyes were getting strained heavily due to this syndrome I was always feeling my eyes were exhausted and always felt the eyes dry. Your doctors and Optometricians failed to observe this my issue. Instead they wrote pricey imported eye drops to stop to stop dry eye syndrome. Later I visited the my old hospital wherein I got highly personalized attention from the doctor herself. Finally the doctor prescribed me two glasses i.e. one is for Short & Intermediate vision and another one is for long distance vision. Now I am fine though I am using two glasses. I am thinking to go for Lazer/Smile treatment to discard specs. The main problem I observed in your hospital is one single doctor is not attending to the patient. Patient has to go across multiple doctors, Multiple optometrist. Your hospital system work like factory assembly line management system which is not good for a hospital setup. Your staff/professionals feeds/punches the eye test readings in the networked computerized environment and the same is seen by other professionals in other department. Even a small typo error lead to a big confusion and cost heavily to the patient. Even in my case they wrote wrong spectacle prescription. When I asked how come such a huge difference came in power, they answered saying whatever glasses are I was comfortable with during reading, that only they wrote. I felt something wrong in that prescription, Hence I did not go buying with that glass.

Overall a very Good experience. My mother came in for her cataract surgery. The staff were very courteous. Right from the counsellor, the staff and even the doctor (Dr. Prashant. R).. thank this hospital and all the staff for a very prompt and good experience.

Good but do plan for the entire day atleast 4-5 hrs on weekends for general check-up. You will be spending a lot of time waiting.Cost for general check-up is Rs.500/- as of 16-Nov-2019 which I believe is pretty reasonable and affordable compared to money most private hospitals charges.

The behaviour of Hospital staff was very good. They kept communicating me about the concern related to less platelets. Although I shared the platelet count of 1 lack still they accepted the report and checked with me about any medical issues.They provided all the instructions and details of the lens. This review is for Castle Street branch of Narayana Nethralaya. Went there for the first time. Time of visit - 15 July , 3:30 pm. Reception staff is courteous. Doctor is also good. But pharmacy staff I encountered are extremely irresponsible. I was prescribed one particular eye drop by the doctor and was given another one by the pharmacy staff with a similar name. Even when I pointed out that the drug composition of the prescription and given drop doesnt match, they tried to convince its the same. I went back and reconfirmed with the doctor who said both are different. Only after being told about doctors comment, they double checked and exchanged the drop with the correct one. I filled a feedback form explaining the issue. The pharmacy staff didnt even apologize once and instead were rude throughout the process. I am literate and know enough to double check my meds , but what about others who might not scrutinize this much. Please train the pharmacy staff to read printed prescriptions thoroughly and pay heed to customers queries.

The experience we had at Nethralaya was very orderly, well organised and prompt in their appointments. Staff from all angles were courteous and helpful. Very patient counselling and most of all the doctors do their best and give full attention to their patients. They have several tests to make sure one is given the right treatment. We are thankful and wish everyone to continue doing their best and God will do the rest.

I had a very bad experience with this place. I had severe irritation and a pus in the lower eyelid and was not given antibiotics on the first visit. Instead the doctor gave me 4 eye drops and told me that I had some allergy. After a week , I requested the doctor to give antibiotics or I will consult another place. She then added antibiotics and told me to continue with the eye drops. As I am new to Bangalore, on every follow up she told me that I still have the allergy and to continue using the eye drops. I would not recommend anyone to go here unless they have any other option.
