Fish land has always been my go to place when You feel like having fish. It has looked the same for a very long time now and very simple place and no jazzy interiors etc. very clean and hygienic and well maintained. The staff too are clean and well dressed with the right etiquette.The sea food here is one of the best in Bangalore in the mid segment. Service is quick and everything is served hot. The fish is always fresh and can be eaten without any suspicion of its freshness.Toilets and hand wash are neat.Parking in the area is minimal. I usually park in the multi level car parking opposite Pothy’s who charge about Rs.30 for an hour and this is the best option.They have started home delivery as well. You can give it a try.This place is a must visit place for sea food lovers while at Bangalore.

Decent place for fish meals, worth the money .have to taste the prawns masala fry it was yum and fish fry was good .prices are moderate to Slightly expensive. But most annoying is parking problem ...worth one visit but.

Me and my wife are always on the lookout for good seafood in Bangalore and when we heard of this place we didnt waste much time before we drove 1.5hrs to try out their food.Everything was extremely fresh. Thats the most impressive thing about this place. We ordered silver fish rava fry, prawns rava fry and crab chilli. Both the rava fries were extremely tasty, must try!The crab was really fresh. They gave us two options for the crab chilli, with shell or without shell. We didnt want to get our hands dirty so we opted for the without shell option, which I think was a wrong decision. Although there was ample tender crab meat in it, I didnt get a lot of crab flavours that I think the shell option would have definitely given. Food portions were decent.The staff, as you would expect in a busy place like this, wouldnt wait by the table if you take your time with the order. There is a sense of urgency that makes you feel that you need to place your order quickly. They are not rude my any means, they are on a fast lane I suppose. The service was also quick.The food here is slightly more expensive. The price is midway between a shack and a fine dining restaurant. The decor is also somewhere in between a fine dining place and an old reputed restaurant that stood in time.I wouldnt drive 1.5hrs again for this place but would definitely drop in if Im close by and out of places on my bucetklist in the vicinity. A must try for fresh seafood lovers.

Food was average. Not value for money. Ordered special fish thali and silver fish fry. The seer fish which they gave was hard and no taste. The scales of the silver fish was not properly removed. Will not suggest anyone

Cleanliness, taste and varieties offered are the highlights of this restaurant. Started in 1982,the owner has really has kept the tradition alive. I went to this restaurant with least expectations, but was surprised to see all COVID-19 protocols followed meticulously. You will be advised on the menu, catch of the day will be shown and recommended. Prices slightly on the higher side. But recommend a visit for fine dining with family when you are in Gandhinagar, Bangalore

Fresh and delicious fish served at a reasonable price. The place will take you back to the 70s. The server who served me had a lot of attitude and was rude. However that does bring down any star as I liked the food.

One of the vetrans in the industry and pioneers of fish cusinie have maintained if not upped the ante in taste. The crab chilly is outright amazing and u get the prep with shell or jus the meat. We tried both and turned out Brilliant. The kane masala fry and surmai tava fry wer lip smaking. We got it delivered to Whitefield and it was worth everything. For Sea food loves this is heaven!

Old & popular fish restaurant. Located on 1st floor. Building is very old too. Price of Fish Thali at Rs.390 seemed high. Just one bowl of plain rice, small fish with curry, extremely small bowl of rasam, one small glass butter milk & little vegetable.Rawa fried fish ordered separately was fresh & tasty.

Bought Special Fish meals for wife along with Crab Chilly. apparently the Crab Chilly is worth dying for.

Very good Mangalorean Konkani style food at reasonable prices. I recommend Fish Curry Rice without Fried Fish, and special Tawa fry or Masala fry fish (Mackerel, King fish, Pomfret, Prawns etc.) .

Its not moneys worth. Service was also poor. Ordinary Fish curry ,rice thali costs Rs.200/- Surprising.

The food here never disappoints you. Its a simple, no-nonsense place that does not have any branches. The fish meal is the best, with a serving of rice, fish curry, vegetables, rasam, curd and pickle. If you choose the more expensive option, you get a fish fry included - I would suggest you order that one the side as you get good options. The prawn biryani here is amazing too!

The best place where you get to taste authentic Mangalore Style Sea Food. Highly recommend place if you love sea food. It’s also one of the oldest restaurant restaurant of Bengaluru. Prawns, Kanne and Angal are the highly recommended dishes.
