Decent place for vegetarians..They have got variety of menu’s & also have both self service halls as well as seated areas..Their unlimited meal is good & worth for money, Bt the quality & taste of the food is average.. Place is crowded & moderate food price.. & alsoNo parking place.

The name should be changed to Metro Mane- new dishes on the menu....Sandwiches, Pizza, Burgers, Thick Milkshakes, Chaats, Healthy Juices, etc...With regular menu of Halli Thindi....Go for it...And it tastes good...

Food is decent. Nothing too great. Food alone would deserve a 3 star rating. But, the service is so bad, it makes the whole experience very bad. The server was extremely careless, taking his own sweet time and even after calling him, making requests, he just seemed not to care at all. I would not visit again.

HALLI MANE ON KUNIGAL ROAD Place serves very good food. For hundreds of people at a time but lacks polite servers , and do not have clean bathrooms. Don’t know what management people supervise here forCustomer friendly ambience, cleanliness and hygiene - hope the management keeps the place in good condition for a long time to come.

There’s no allocated parking spot available. Cars will have to be parked on the road.

Messy, food was not good. My stomach was bad for 4 days. Theyve really ruined it. It was so good before. Better go for Krishna hotel nearby.

The minute you get to this restaurant, it is bustling with people and just shows the quality of food on offer. You get the meals over here and its priced around Rs. 200, which is brilliant as the food served here is fresh and delicious. The service is decent and the seating is quite alright too. Traditional music is played and it somehow reminds me of a wedding reception where the food is severed on banana leaves and the same happens here too.

The prices are very reasonable. We get unlimited meals @199. Each one of the dishes are quite good. We get authentic South Indian food which is really good👍.

One of the oldest with concept of unlimited north and south Indian dishes thali. The staff is well behaved, ambience is just above utilitarian. Dont look for exotic dishes, if you have a good hunger then its the place.

One of the best south Indian vegetarian restaurants in Bangalore. You might not find parking close by, or even a place to sit inside but its definitely worth the wait.The dosas are crispy and amazing, the Akki rotti is thing and baked nicely. The chutney pudi is perfect. The sambar is nice. The coffee is amazing.Theres a buffet kinda thing on the first floor and self service on the ground floor. I went with lot of expectations on Shankranti after watching multiple videos. After having the food here I had to go home and had to eat again, I believe the videos on YouTube are mostly paid to hype it, the food was either full sweet or taste less, once you go there you Will be given juice and paisaa (kheer) so that you cant eat much, which is like a scam..I thought MTR was worst this was more worst than that, atleast MTR was well organized..here the waiters were also so rude as if they were doing favor on us. I will never visit this place.

Food is just average nothing great about it. Resturant is trying to market and force the unlimited meals served in the first floor and seems to be ignoring the customers served in the ground floor.The limited meals served is pathetically bad, tried the north indian dishes and its just fine. With respect to ambience, there is no proper seating place in ground floor and customers will have tough time finding place(not because place is crowded but customers occupying tables even after finishing their food and just there to kill time, management is least bothered about this and happy to just collect money at the counter).May be customers can visit to try unlimited meals (not sure about the taste though) but about other food options nothing special. So, better to take avoid the place.

Had a bad experience, Idli was closed early (7 PM). Bought Dosa 4 Plates and it was Last.That too got closed. They were not able to provide Sambar, even though they had Enough Sambar. On requesting their response were unsatisfactory and rude behaviour by Staffs. It seems they are using it for next day.I have witnessed several times.No respect for senior citizens. Just Imagine for youngsters.Please be Careful and Alert with Cashier. They may confuse you with change. Take extra person (as witness) with you if are providing Food coupon.[In Pic]They had to provide 2 full box of Sambar for 4 Dosa.They Provided only half box of Sambar only on requesting.

Horrible service!!! my package took too long. There is no coordination, and the employees appear to be unconcerned with our time. They were taking their own sweet time!! The only positive aspect is the ambiance. Which isnt ideal given the circumstances.

Excellent food when the nearby restaurants refused to serve us meals and they had only light snacks available. We walked into hallimane and they had meals available. We were thtilled and enjoyed a sumptuous meal. Thank you hallimane and 10 points to the guy who served us our food. Excellent place and every time I am in bangalore I will visit hallimane.

Rude staff, sub-standard food, badly maintained pace. I had gone to this place hearing that it is one of the old good restaurants of Bangalore but was utterly disappointed. The attitude of the people serving at the counter or at billing is just rude. The food- had ordered akki roti, it was as hard as papad, dosa was thick but tasted ok but the paneer manchurian was sweet; I felt they had just stir fried it in tomato ketchup. Came back very dissatisfied and never going back again.

However, know your appetite before you decide to go for unlimited lunch. The items list is exhaustive and makes it heavy thali. They do have take away counter, over the counter ordering and breakfast also.

Visited during a rainy evening to try Gobi Manchurian and Coffee. But we were served with Baby Corn Manchurian, as Gobi Manchurian was not available. Baby Corn was crispy and served hot. It was very tasty. Coffee is must try, perfectly blended.

The ambience is really nice and warm. There is a 2 floor setup with 1st floor being built in an old format. The quick bites are sold downstairs and you can even dine in at the 1st floor.

I know hallimane is quiet a name in banagalore but my experience was above average .I have ordered akki rotti,Bonda soup ,ragi dosa and khova holige and badam holige ,among all those I find holige is best no complaints about it .Try togaribele holige too which is made of dal.Breakfast options like Idly dosa are better options .Ambience is as the name suggests like a place in village. Overall give a visit for the best holige in town.

Hi food lovers...we had a great history of serving great tasty food here...but actually now it is deprecated...the unlimited meals is not that tasty...and if your buying individual dishes like kalli dosa and roti taste average... but set dosa is actually good..you can try it... apart from that you can snack few sweets which is good....so once you can try... ambience is average but in lunch time it will be crowded.. rest room not maintained well...
