I order from swiggy almost everyday. Very fulfilling. Vegetable chops are better than kolkata street stalls. Curry states are amazing. Sukto is awesome. They always send fryums in thali and its so appetizing. Occasional potol and dhokha dalna very tasty. Dry sabzis are awesome too. Most fulfilling for the price. I always receive exactly what I order or more. In case something ever isnt in kitchen, swiggy or Zomato always calls to inform.

Awesome bengali food

We went to amaontron on poula boishak. As it was the start of a bengali new year. We wanted to celebrate it by having some nice bengali food. So as we were at btm that day... We searched for some benhali restaurant we got some. Like hiyar majhe, amontorn. As hiyar majhe was closed we went to amontron. Both the restaurant are just side by side. This amontron has seating arrangements with some bengali lebeled t-shirts hanging. Its not that good. Then we ordered for poilaboishak special menu polao combo and pabda combo. In polao combo there were polao chicken kosha, aluposto(dont know why), aloor dum, chatney, papad, gulab jamun. Pabda combo was consist of same dished insted of chicken kosha there was pabda, and insted of polao white rice. It was good. I wont say it was awesome or something. It was decent. As price was also low like 350. So allover it was a good experience.

You will good authentic Bengali Style Food in cheap price. But with a cheaper rate, there are some compromises youve to make. This places hygiene is not good. They have adequate seating place but in a rush time its not enough. Sometimes, the food quality might not satisfy you. However, youll never complain about the quantity in that price tag. Overall pocket friendly place to experience Bengali Cuisine unless and until youre too finicky about cleanliness and hygiene.

Joghonno Mutton biryani.. i received burnt and fried Mutton in biriyani which was 300bucks. I called the restaurant and they denied to check even and told am lying!

Overall food is really nice.Experience 2: revisiting rating, given earlier, cause recently I felt that the waiting time is very long and its just not acceptable, seen many people leaving without having their meal just because they are not able to serve the people and keeping them waiting long enough, like today I am waiting for 50 min, and yet not served. So people whod are looking for a quick meal then its not the place for you also they are more concerned for the online orders, even when they have a long queue waiting in their restaurant. Excellent food at a very economic price. I do not know where to get chappatis for 5/- in BTM LAYOUT and Meals ranging from 75/- to 110/-.A great ambience, good service and a friendly owner makes you visit over and over again.I would love to see more variations in fish and breakfast meals.Doing a great job. Ok food. You will have to wait a long time to get the food on your table as they are more interested in fulfilling online orders first. The place is not that clean either. Better order through swiggy/zomato than having there.

I have a very bad experience while visited the place.Its a small place with 6 tables with 4 seats in each table. The service is too slow here.We went for lunch at 1430hr and we got a table around 1500hr. Then they took order and after 15 minutes of order, they realized they can not serve some items because of unavailability!We waited another 15 minutes after that to get served.The price is less in comparison to other Bengali hotels around, but food quality is also not good.Better you order online from them or order a minimal menu like daal rice, then itll be served in 15 minutes after ordering. Otherwise you may have to wait 0.5hr like me.

Best Bengali food. You can always feel u are at home when you eat here. Small restaurant but good service. Has authentic Bengali taste unlike other restaurants. This was my daily dinner spot( esp. Rohu fish curry with Rice). Loved the genuine style. And they deliver as well for up to 2kms distance. Prices are completely reasonable. You can always rely on them for good taste.

I have had meals (veg and non-veg) here twice, not dissapointed and would recommend for trying once. Food were quite ok in taste and quality. Rice was served cold twice but the other plates were hot. Price is also reasonable. The place is small but availability of tables wont be a big issue.

I have been regular to the restaurant, usually come for lunch, Food is great no doubt, the only reason of giving a 1 star is for pathetic and embarassing service. Whenever i visited the restaurant i need to wait for the staff to approach me, sometimes it takes more than 15 mins, you need to call the staff as they wont come to you, May be Ego issue. Adding on they will sit near to us and watch TV. Ha ha ha what a job!I would really like the owner of this restaurant to check on this. This will impact your business.

Amontron is a great place for cheap, authentic tasting Bengali food. The thali is definitely a bang for the buck. Typical items are good here, like the Rui Jhol, the chicken/mutton kosha, etc. Some items have been known to disappoint, like the daab chingri. And the cleanliness is also questionable. But, I would recommend this place for an inform lunch/dinner.
