Beautiful expansive property. The staff at reception and housekeeping staff is great. Beautiful large grounds for kids to play in and lots of birds and animals for them to look at.I stayed for 2 days and on the first day I was given a beautiful duplex room considering that I was with a kid. On the second day I moved in to a superior room which turned out to have a tiny bath without a tub. Not a great experience on the second day.Food was a really big disappointment. The mismanagement at breakfast buffet could have been overlooked if the food tasted great. All the extremely overpriced lunches and dinners on the 2 days were disappointing. None of them tasted extraordinary.Also the restaurants were so crowded that we ordered room service for us (given the covid situation). We werent able to enjoy the restaurant ambience even though we were in-house guests. There should be some restrictions on how many restaurant guests are allowed on the weekend.

Taj!!The big name lived well up to it. Went to celebrate with my girls gang and it was a bliss. We stayed at a garden view room which was rejuvenating since I was on a break from a hectic schedule. Pretty crowded than expected, but that didnt hinder our space at all for there is ample amount of spill out space which is just mesmerizing!! You absolutely dont feel that youre in the heart of Bangalore city. The lush greenery and well maintained lawns left me awe struck. Reminded me of my childhood days of how Bangalore was A Garden City. The staff and hospitality was great. Took the spa service which was good.The big turn down was guess what.... no hand faucet in the hotel room we stayed!!!Also I didnt like the food at Blue Ginger...could be better.Certainly our stay was PRETTY expensive!Thats my person opinion and that shouldnt be a reason not to go there for sure.Finally checked Taj West End, Bangalore ✔ looking forward for more celebrations there soon!!😀

Taj West End is a luxury hotel with amazing feels. The service was impeccable. The hotel had huge garden area and the whole feel was like walking in some hill resort with forest cover. The swimming pool was closed due to covid restriction.The check in and check out was smooth and each person will greet you whenever they see you. The service is something no one can complain about, start from your entry into to hotel to your room, till you check out.Here are few area that i have covered for the review -Rooms - I stayed in garden view room. The room size was decent, with small balcony, although only one chair was out in the balcony. There were standard toiletries nothing out of the ordinary, and some basic coffee/tea sachets. The bathroom had bathtub and nice showers, but were missing some bath salts. There was no jet or bidet only toilet paper.Food - Food was nice, nothing too great but not disappointing either. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast at their buffet restaurant Machan. There are two other restaurants also present there. There was certainly variety and lots of options to choose from.overall i would say i was a pleasant stay but not worth the amount you pay. If you are looking for a name and luxury stay then this would do just fine.

For an upcoming marriage function we got to visit Taj westend on a Sunday afternoon. Although the location of the property is right at the centre of the city but the feel is more like a jungle resort and building height is also low. Infact its a heritage building right at the centre.A perfect destination for marriage, party and stay. The location offered was next to pool and excellent service offered duri our visit.The best part I would say is the sunday brunch which is spreaded till the sunset. Would love to try out the food someday.A must visit place if you in Bangalore.

Taj west end is an awesome hotel...Once you enter the property u will be transformed as if u entered some resort in Coorg, being in the city centre theres so much greenery around (lush green trees 🌲 🌳 ) along with this the colonial touch will take u back into the British era.

A beautiful place, absolutely gorgeous. Greenery everywhere. The food was very good, the staff was very friendly. They told us that they could get us any food that was not available in the buffet. We went for breakfast, and it was amazing.

Very nice place for experiential outing. Took my parents on their wedding anniversary and loved it. Food is upto the expectations and very good service. They even planned surprise cake for the occasion.

Old heritage property, gives you an experience of a resort. You can have a good relaxed stay here.Check-in, check-out takes a lot of time. Duty managers look very tired and at times lazy. The food in restuarants is great, especially blue ginger. Highly recommend to take out time and go for dinner at blue ginger.Try avoiding buffet meals. I personally did not like the quality and service.

Lovely place to stay. But crowded during the weekends, and the staff did not seem geared up to handle the weekend rush. Both check in and check out were delayed.Rooms are spacious, and lots of greenery around. Food is reasonably good, not spectacular though. Overpriced even by 5-star hotel standards. Would suggest to opt for the buffet, if price is a constraint.

A sprawling estate type hotel, very useful place to be especially in these covid times! Rooms are spacious and elegant! Staff is always on the ball! Excellent restaurants! Swimming pools and the works. Truly once in a lifetime experience!!

It was really good..!! The atmosphere was really good.. really enjoyed my stay.. the masal dosa was spectacular.. hats off too the chef. The decorations were unbelievable. A marriage in the open under the blue sky was so goood.!!

My wife and I are regulars at Taj West End, hands down the best heritage/5 star hotel in Bangalore, and possibly in South India too.Recommending them is a no brainer, especially with staff that always go out of their way to make your stay and experience a memorable one.Special shout out to Suveera, Upasana, Sunil, Sweta, Mohan and Venkatesh - they make a world class team. Incredibly professional and customer savvy!

Attended a wedding here. Huge place with lots of greenery including big trees. Very well maintained. Proper signage and courteous staff.

The experience was kinda okay, the food was average, nothing grand as expected. Just liked the ambience in the sit out area although it was watery all over...with the hype tht associates, will rate the place as average. You can chill out with friends provided if you are heard loud and clear. Although pre-booked a table for birthday party, it wasnt readily available.Had to fight for the table...so its just an average rated one.

This place is a must visit for its lush green views, beautiful living spaces, the chirping sounds of the birds and the peace and calm it offers.Highly recommended if you are looking for a resort-like place within Bangalore.The food options and the hospitality were amazing. And Personally enjoyed cycling within the beautiful property! They had also arranged for a cake and some balloon decorations as it was my birthday. Loved the entire stay!

While searching for a resort in Bangalore, I was remotely expecting to find something in the outskirts possibly near the airport or so and was pleasantly surprised when taj west end showed up. Its nothing short of a sprawling forest right in the middle of MG road! Spread across a few acres of greenery it has everything you expect in a typical resort in a non city location - be it a room with a private balcony and a view or a ride across the property in buggies. The room rates were close to 10k (without breakfast) and its a bargain if you compare with a typical resort experience in an exotic (supposedly most of the times) location. Highly recommended if you are looking for a proper getaway but do not want to travel away from Bangalore or are looking for relatively affordable rates for similar experiences.

Please arrange for some lighting in front of the gate and highlight the name board in night as its not visible in dark.At 8.45 only the hotel was little confusing to take turn. Even though Google took me correctly I passed the gate and had to take double u turn again to enter the hotel

It’s kind of a oasis in the centre of Bengaluru.The staff is very helpful. Service is a bit slow but considering the spread of the hotel in such a big area it’s natural.We did have couple of our company Kick off here and they quiet well supported and managed by the staff.The restaurants have garden, and pool seatings and have lot of cuisine options.

I liked the hotel property, its ambience and the service but the basic room was a disappointment with the tag of Taj not justified. The room facilities are not upto the mark. They couldnt give me an upgrade even though I had taken the package with the upgrade. Dining services are good and guests are well taken care. But due to weekend the service was slow.

Had a one night stay at Taj West End.. the staff are lovely people greeting you very warmly at all times. They are very friendly and had even decorated the room for my birthday.The food is excellent. It was actually better than our expectations.Very lovely ambience in the property as it’s one of the oldest in Bengaluru. You have a very peaceful ambience even with all the chaos outside in the city. It has been maintained very well with the heritage being preserved.Overall had a lovely stay.

First bad brunch experience at Taj West End, Bengaluru.Ther service was really pathetic. Was given a corner table with improper attention by staff members + lesser veg options. When this issue was raised with the Manager, I was then assured that butler will be assigned to look after and was made an offer of the table in garden(which was earlier denied when we arrived and requested for one). Why take corrective actions only after complaining?? Why not proactively do it?? Your staff is responsible for creating a positive experience for your guests. Totally unacceptable for a hotel of this calibre!!!

Old, calm and green.The service, once you check in is exceptional; especially due to their never say never policy. The rooms are old and the furniture borders on antique, which adds to the charm of the place.Even in times of a pandemic and government lockdowns, the team under Alexandra performed exceptionally well to keep us well accommodated, fed, and happy.A huge thank you for making my sister’s wedding all the more memorable.The only downside is the small size of the ballroom.

Went to the west end after ages. Wonderful place as it always was. The food was ok/good. Not great. And very expensive. So we had a nice afternoon, but I dont think Ill be going back soon.

Place is lovely but couldnt get table as I was not aware that it has to be reserved because weekends they have rush. But still it was a good place to be.

While the property is good, we wanted to get a photo shoot done n were told that the property charges 50k for it. This i felt is a loot considering no other properties charge it to my knowledge n spoiled our plans. This is a highly disappointing experience n definitely the last time I chose this property. Anyone with similar plans or requirements better to find other properties which dont impose such frivolous charges .

This has to be of the most gorgeous properties within the city of Bangalore.Perfect for a getaway from the city life.Once you are inside the hotel it will not feel like you are staying in the heart of the city, there is so much greenary and its perfect for long pleasant walks. There is a spa to treat yourself to some amazing massages as well.Food is also great. Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommended!P.S. you never know what cute little animals like rabbits you may spot during a walk. 😍

We stayed at the Tata suite for 2 nights, the food and the service was great and the property is absolutely green and gorgeous. The suite has a private pool and jacuzzi which we thoroughly enjoyed. For food we loved the Indian at Masala Klub but the buffet was okay overall.

Ambience was great and staff was cordial and helpful. But the food was average. We went to Machaan for lunch. The varieties and taste wasnt very impressive considering the experience from other Taj restaurants. Overall a pretty nice place particularly the verandah and open air seating arrangements.

The property is prime is so huge and been maintained for decades. To see so much of greenery you wont believe its in the heart of Bangalore. The food is superb and ambience outstanding. Service is top class. What more one can ask for?❤️

Worst experience. I booked an executive suite and it was a nightmare. some construction work was going on in adjacent site and that noise ruined my time I spent there. Even though I complained about the issue to management didnt do anything to solve that issue. They said they will try to do something and asked for sometime. But when I called after sometime they didnt even attend the call. Pathetic. It was a punishment to choose you guys and highly recommend not to for anyone looking to book a room here.

Had a pathetic experience overall. In-room dining service was shambolic, had to wait 2 hours for our food to be delivered, that too after multiple follow-ups. The food was average at best. The AC vent in the room was noisy and no one bothered to rectify despite complaining. The lovely trees in the property were the only saving grace.

Taj West End - My first time stay here. As we pass the main gates, we were blown away with the greenery , the mango trees filled with mangoes. The property has a lot of options to walk around and visit. The butterfly garden, the collection of paintings, the spa and swimming pool, the cycling track , the gardens etc.Food is awesome at Machan.The staff deserves a 11 on 10 as the cherry on top. This place will be my most cherished and must go staycation at Bengaluru for a fun relaxed weekend.

My wife and stayed 2 nights for our anniversary. The front desk, housekeeping and spa team members created for an exceptional experience overall - they were courteous, caring and many of them went above and beyond including Harsh on the front desk team (who helped arrange a private space with decorations on short notice for me and wife to share a few special moments together) and 3 of the spa team members (massage therapist, facial specialist, yoga teacher and the manager). Also a special thank you to Mohan at Machan for his attentiveness and friendliness (other serving staff were great as well).Other than that, we were extremely disappointed with the food service at both the Machan restaurant and the in-room dining. At the restaurant, the female manager we dealt with was not friendly on numerous occasions. Where we had made a reservation for our anniversary dinner, and where the operator had not properly passed on the request details (or it was not properly received at the restaurant), this manager made little effort to make it right. When we went back to the room and ordered, as well as when we went to breakfast the next morning, the unpleasant conversation tone continued. I dont think she was trying to be unfriendly but I would suggest that perhaps she might not be suited to the customer facing role. Instead of acknowleding an order for coffee, she asked us to move tables because we had taken one that was too large for our party. We had to move and then the coffee never arrived so we had to order it with someone else. As far as in room dining goes, food delivered to the room was spicy despite asking for mild (several orders) and delays were not communicated in a friendly manner (it was more confrontational).

Attended a marriage event. Filled with rare trees and plants. Feeling of Deep lush green forest in the middle of Bangalore. I request everyone to feel this place at least once in their life. Taj west End experience is 4 times better than photos put up on google.

The Hotel is a forest in the mid of the city. You can see ducks, rabbits too. There is meditation area, temple and a butterfly park too inside.The room was spacious and the view from balcony was serene. The breakfast buffet was really nice but I didnt like the dinner buffet. Options for vegetarian food were few and not that good.Apart from this small thing everything else was just great. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Looking forward to visit again.

Bundle of greenery inside a buzzing city!!!We were there to celebrate our anniversary this weekend. Just love the greenery all around the hotel. It was like staying in a forest inside a city. Heritage walk tour done by Mr Prasad was the highlight of our stay. He provided wonderful insights into the legacy of the hotel and so patient in talking pictures all around. Dining staff headed by Ms Upasana were excellent!!! Overall it was the best staycation inside the city which we enjoyed a lot.
