For the first time visit - that also on a special occasion of a Bengali Noboborsho. Thank you to the entire team for making such delicious food & make us to feel good, dishes are extraordinarily good that you wont feel you are having the same from Bangalore, but its damn good. Due to Noboborshor order though it took a bit extra time (because of earlier order) but after tasting the foods will forget that waiting time for sure. We dropped in this place while passing by. Food was amazing. The best part was the hospitality and warmth we received. We felt at home. Quite reasonably priced menu. If I remember not the one who only like the fancy environment and want to try some good food in budget this place is a must visit.

This is really a good choice if u are looking for a bengali lunch. Eventhough it seems a bit expensive they are providing many core bengali menu. I went there with my bengali friend and i was habing a bengali dish first time in my life. I loved the food and the staffs were good too.

Nice place. Good Bengali food. The owner is very friendly, just like Bengali Dada. I felt like having Aloo Bhate and it was not in the menu. So he made it on request. Price is reasonable. I recommend.

This place used to be one of the decent places to have bengali cuisines in yelahanka. But last week we went and our experience turned out to be very bad. I felt probably the owner has been changed. The whole seating place was full of smell of frying fish. Quality of food has gone down drastically. All the mutton items tasted similar. In aalu posto you can easily separate aalu and posto. Pulao was simply colored rice. Starter, main course whatever we ordered was very bad. Ill not go there ever again.

We ordered polao, chicken curry, chicken biriyani and pabda jhal. The chicken in biriyani was not tasty and not cooked properly. Authentic Kolkata style biriyani not found as I was waiting for it for a long time.

We went today for lunch ... food is ok I would say ! Quantity is less than what is expected at this price range ! Taste wise it’s ok .. puri could be offered free with any dish as all the dishes are on higher price side ! Masalas are local so I didn’t find bong flavour in any food !Over all an average experience ! One time go seems ok !

Kindly avoid this place..if you are a foodie..no value for money..too expensive and the quantity of food is hilarious..I really did not expect a small chutny bowl for a 300rs dish..also,moment u step in dey will hand over a different menu card and its not the same name of d hotel. in hefty sum of money you will return half eaten..coz quantity are so small..taste bad too no authenticity....please avoid and there are better bengali joints.

Loved the food and the owner was very cordial.We went on Bengali new years day and the we were offered a thali..which had Mishti pulav,prawns,potol er Dolma,luchi and mutton gravy..wid Mishti doi, chutney and rasgulla..all the items were very tasty! definitely visiting again

Good food at a not very high price

The food is extremely delicious just as I had in Kolkata. The decor is moderate but the flavours make up for it.

First, the food is anything but Bengali. They claim it to be authentic Bengali restaurant. If it is so, then I am the president of US. Hyped, overpriced, untrained staff. I drove 25 km to have Bengali food, only to find a snobbish manager and one staff serving fine Basmati rice, some kind of North Indian Dahl. Theres no parking, the place cant be spotted easily from road.

Since the restaurant has opened in the year 2017 the food is totally changed to perfect level of authentic bengali cuisine. One must taste the food and this is for all indians not only bengalis..The restaurant should introduce ours special chicken and mutton rolls also..Kindly introduce.And keep this taste for ever.

My experience was very bad. I ordered for 3 veg meals and mutton and chicken kasha. I was surprised that they have changed the veg meal menu also. Items have been cut like poori, aaloo posto etc and the price remains the same. Mutton Kasha was prepared extremely bad and the chicken seems to be frozen chicken which was cooked in a hurry. Quality of the food has really put me down. This was my 4th visit to the restaurant and i must say this would be my last visit. Even my 2nd and 3rd visit were not as good as the 1st visit however i would say it was still OK. Paying a bill of 1000 for such sub standard food is gross injustice to my hard earned money. When the restaurant losses interest in feeding its customers with quality food and only interested in making money, the time will not be too far when the same customer will throw them out of business.

We came here after registering our new apartment on 19 April 2018, we ordered kosha mutton, pabda fish curry, potol ER Dorma and cholar dal - one plate, but the quantity for two was more than enough. We had to pack mutton, For sweets it was Mishti doi and roshogolla, indeed a sumptuous meal. Yes its a pricy, but again it 600/- per person, okay since we were treating ourselves. No car parking allowed on the main road, have to park in the side lanes. Parking during weekends is a tough proposition indeed.Went again during May 2019, the experience wasnt good, no AC and fan as no electricity. They have to at least install a generetor to cater to business. Even their card reader machine was out of order, so folks be ready with cash, it seems the owner prefers orders only thru swiggy / Zomato, the owners hate walk in customer. There overall standards have fallen miserably, with quality of food served has gone down. It looks like the Yelahanka outlet will close down shortly.

The place has a bad stink to it just upon entering it. They didnt have any of the dishes for which we had been there in the first place. We were tempted of the famous luchi and chicken kabiraji which we had eaten on a recent trip to Kolkata. They didnt hav both. Settled with a veg cutlet.. Something I didnt plan on eating in that place.. But had to eat it just because they had nothing else. There were no waiters in the room too.. We had to walk to the reception area every time we wanted to ask for something. Very unprofessional. This place isnt going to last long. Oh and the biryani. Was the sweeeetesttt ever eaten.. Would make even the desserts shy! Stay away,, you have been warned.

Sightly on the expensive side but you can get unique Bengali food. Today I relished my favourite chingri poshto with Luchi. Had nalen gurer ice cream for dessert. Nalen gur means jaggery made from palm fruit.

I have been taking food from here for quite some time now. I really like the food here but the thing is, off late, I have noticed that when ever we place order for take way, the quality and quantity differs.

The menu is standard and the pricing is reasonable and food is good for the ones missing home cooked food but could do with some less oily stuff..

This is nothing different from their Koramangala restaurant except the utensils and the furnitures. The ambience doesnt exist, even the wash basin has been designed in a minimalist way. The pricing however is as compared to any other restaurant who doesnt cut corners with ambience and decor. The food is good Bengali cuisine but the size of Hilsa is considerably smaller and there is practically no fish in the Fish Fry, other than the aroma. The pricing for dishes seemed like 5 star hotels. The mango chutney had nothing to do with Bengal. Overall experience was not meeting expectation.

This is the second time I went to Bangaliana. I would say that my last times experience was way better than today. The taste of the dishes was not as expected. We ordered dhokar dalna, chingri malaikari, mutton dakbanglo, Bangla polao and misti doi. The polao was little bit more sweet than required. Dhokar dalna was also so so. Chingrir malaikari was good but the fish was not fresh. The doi was good. And the behaviours of the staffs are really sweet.

But sometimes the restaurants reputation goes down due to the negligence of the staffs .I am one of the regular customer of the restaurant ,as my all family members are like the food quality of this restaurant. But I had a bed experience recently. I and my all family members given the order , like chicken kosa, mutton curry, pulao Bengali , Misti doi, rasogolla, gulab jamun like so many things. Once we received our order on the table we discovered that chicken kosa, mutton curry they just brought it from the refrigerator after little warm. Once we bit the chicken it was cold from the inside and the teste was very bed. I asked the serving staffs is it the todays chicken and mutton, they replied yes. They again took it for warm and served it again. It was a very bed experience for all my family members.

Good Bengali joint, comfort food. Have tried pretty much most of the dishes. Standout dishes have been Mutton, Chicken Dkbnglw, chicken kasha, katla in mustard, Crab Masala, Alu Posto, Alu bhaja. Dishes like Prawn cutlet, Fish batter fry have been great...but there seems to be some consistency issue here, hence dropped one star. Perhaps, the cook changes weekly or something like that. Got food for party at home, it was great, people appreciated the taste and quality...actually food fell short despite ordering for next day.Last week, fish batter fry was a big let down. Consistent let downs have been Luchi (should be pure Maida), Prawn Fried rice (expected slightly sweet Bengali style yellow variety like the one we get in 6th Ballygunge), Shukto. Fish batter fry is great if the right cook is around (Yellahanka joint). Bengali style Pulao was great. Fish fry (crumb) was costly for the quality given.Small footprint, better if you book a table in advance. Thankfully we have a proper washbasin (small) with dettol, to wash hands before diving into food. Oberall good value for money except the inconsistencies that tend to mar the experience from time to time.
