Very casual attitude.. doesnt appraise the patient about the seriousness of the eye problem. We had to go for a second opinion to save eyes..all senior doctors have left the hospital..need to deal with the younger generation

Reducing by one star only because of the horrible lady sitting on the first floor Imaging room today at the Jayanagar branch on , 25th Sept 2021 around 1:30pm ist. My mum has a collapsed vertebrae and was on a wheel chair. We were asked if she could sit on the chair to which we obliged then we were asked if she could stand we agreed to that as well as we wanted to make it convenient to the said horrible lady in the room.My mum couldnt be stable because of her medical condition after a while and this lady was very rude to her. I told her hey she has collapsed vertebrae and she went on a rant about why they need to be stern. I said, nope. Not right. Its customer service to be polite. She didnt agree. Absolutely rude. Has an attitude.Rest of the staff, starting from the security at the gate, security at the door the doctors assistants, the doctors themselves and the housekeeping staff had the most impressive attitude. This lady needs to sit for classes from them to understand a patients problems and how to deal with them. Arrogance is no no.

I am very thankful to Netradhaama hospital and Dr.Chinmayee JT. For Curing my fathers eye issues and surgeries with her skillful treatment, with in 45 days. I got relex smile in the first week of June 2021. The process was really smooth. There were multiple tests done before the procedure to make sure everything was fine. I am extremely happy with the procedure and have had no issues at all. I was able to see clearly from the next day itself and was back to work in 2 days.I have had multiple post op consultations as well(no extra charge) and everything looks good.The procedure was done by Dr. Ganesh. I didnt meet him until I went into the surgery room and didnt interact with him at all. But everything went well and Ididnt have any issue at all. Everything else was handled by other doctors.The only issue with the hospital is the wait time. We need to wait very long to get anything done.

This review is about the new hospital building. The consultation process is simple and streamlined. The receptionists, staffs, attenders, doctors, all are very friendly and approachable. Even though it is crowded most of the time, there are no cutsies. Wait time is generally 40 -50 mins during peak hours. First floor has pharmacy as well as opticals. Second floor has lab. Consultation charges are nominal(there was no fees for follow ups). I consulted Dr Namitha Anagol who is vastly experienced and friendly. Recovery was 90% in a weeks time. The timings are 9am - 9pm MON-SAT & 9am- 1pm on Sundays.

OPD consultation for eye checkup is good. The best part is the Suman opticals. Frame+lens is economical here, more economical than lenskart and the opticals in Agarwal eye hospital. Overall this is a very good eye hospital.

My sister underwent RELEX SMILE EXTRA surgery there. Before surgery they behaved so well because they had to do business with us and after surgery when my sister started facing complications and called emergency number they were so rude to her and again their main focus was on charging 500 consultation fee. 1.6 lakhs wasnt enough for them. On top of that when we called them they initially told an incorrect drop to use which made her condition worse and next day another doctor said that drop shouldnt be used! This all is a joke to them. They are very money minded. Do not go to that hospital if you love your eyes. We did a mistake of not doing proper research research and getting the surgery done there. My sister has been crying in pain from one week and theres no relief!

She explained me the details of various options available and helped me to decide about the surgery which I have been postponing from long time!!They have a great and advanced lab and the staff and surgeons will guide you very well.DR SHEETHAL BRAR explained very patiently about the best options available for me and she was talking to me and reassuring me throughout the surgery and within few minutes it was done! IT WAS REALLY QUICK!fast preops , proper instructions...my vision is almost normal after 24hrs post procedure and no pain at all!!!If anyone is looking for refractive procedures, I would recommend this hospital.

I got my fathers two eyes cataract surgery on April 3rd and April 6th. He got covid on April 15th and was tested negative on May 15th. Because of this couldnt come for post op consultation. In between when called hospital I was told that to come after testing negative. When I visited the hospital after testing negative, I was told only emergency cases are being attended and told to come after lockdown.From 3days my father is getting pain in the eye which was operated. So called the hospital and I was asked to come.After coming, I was asked to pay for consultation as I came after 15days post surgery which was supposed to be free as its included in the cataract package. Nobody was ready to listen. Finally I paid and got the consultation as I wanted Dr.Savio to look into this as he was the surgeon who did the surgery.Till date I got my in law, my uncles cataract surgery done here. My moms is due in next 6months again advised by Dr. Dhwni, Nethradhama hospital. I would rather look at other competitors like prabha since my experience this time is not at all good. One should have complete ownership of the work they do. There has to be exception considering were in this pandemic. I wrote feedback form also. Dont know if someone reads it.

Considering the options this is the best we have. The registration staff are the worst, they take your appointment by phone and when you turn up they say you need to wait 1 hour. Defeats the purpose of making an appointment. The registration staff also asked me medical questions to which I asked them if they have medical training, then they switched back to being registration staff! Also there is a long process before you meet the doctor. During this time all the trainee doctors get a chance to try out what they learned in medical school. Would be good if this process can be cut out. By the time you meet the doctor several folks have poked and prodded you. Very tedious.

I dont think this hospital is competent anymore. The staffs are lazy and lethargic. They dont have time sense or operating skills. A simple computer skills in not held by the receptionist. all are in their own mood. i am outstation patient and there is no communication from hospital as to why my lenses were delayed. When called up they are asking me to come and guaranteeing the lenses will be available on this day. when asked to call back when lens arrived they are saying u just come sir or else it will be late. i had to use strong voice to make them understand i work and not sitting idle at home that i jump from one city to another on short notices. i hate such attitudes of hospitals and i will not take treatment from them again and will not let any of my family members to go there too.

I had Femto for cateract was done on 22-02-2021 by Dr. Sriganesh at Kanakpura branch. Unfortunately, patient surgeon interaction was not facilitated at any time, to dispel doubts . I have never met or seen the doctor at all. The doctor patient rapport was neither allowed or ensured. Only the supporting and para medics were mechanically doing every thing.Further , I was told Femto laser is a cake walk and smooth one, for the patient and the patient comfort will be maximum with Femto, but I was feeling the discomfort and pressure on the eye durring operation,inspite of the administration of topical anasthesia. Whereas the experience of patients known to me , who got the same procedure done at other hospitals, have reported a happy and comfortable experience .I do not know the reason whether it is the handling the patient by the operating surgeon or inadequate numbing of the eye being operated or the surgeons proficiency. Any way I give a rating of 5 up on ten to this hospital

Seriously they need to be a little more friendly with patientsFor every flimsy reason they were extract at least 500 rupees for consultation and each doctor will refer to the other doctorThey will quickly size you up and start charging you accordingly .

I got ReLEx Smile procedure (type of refractive surgery) done Jan 2021 and was extremely pleased with the way everything was handled. The staff are super organized and follow a thorough protocols. I visited to consult if I qualify for a laser-based correction first. After a few hours of tests, I was explained different options I have and the advantages/disadvantages etc. I was scheduled for surgery the next day. Few more pre-surgery tests and then after exactly 6 mins of actual surgery time, I was done. Dr Savio was my surgeon and he made the whole process very smooth and relaxing.

Excellent service! Its been over a month I got my ICL surgery done there. In fact, initially I was hesitant about ICL. But now thanks to it, my vision is perfect and I feel super great about not wearing glasses or lenses again. Worst eye hospital and worst management only one( patient) is allowed inside.some patient will forget what the doctor say and when they put drops on eye for testing eye will be blurr for 5 hours .how they canmove from one place to other for testing..if anything happens will they take responsible.. In human rights I read its clearly mentioned that with patient one attender should be allow in hospital for consultation..

This is a renowned and well equipped hospital inside, but lack of space for parking for patients. There is absolutely no parking in the basement neither is there parking facility outside nor space anywhere in lanes. This is highly inconvenient.

I took my mom. Her vision is completely weak n diabetic as well. Dr. Savio was good however he referred her to retina specialist Mahesh. We went to Mahesh, this doc was hardly bothered. He just looked and within 5 mins he said she has to get cataract operated after tat chances are less and immediately brought his students to take a pic of my mom eye. Consultation was 5 mins. His students taking pic was close to 1hr. I really didnt liked the way my mom was treated. If he is giving preference to students..why is he checking patients?

I got my eye surgery done last year and got the most expensive eye correction surgery done .I had some post op problems and even went back to the doctor after my due 5 days and explained the situation and my problem ...first of all the doctor doesnt give you enough time to explain so the assistants do it which is a little language barrier and some times its hard to understand .I was told that the irritation will go away in a few months and the vision will become better . I still have the same problem and while driving the sign boards are still blurry .I dont live in Begaluru so tried to contact on phone and was told the doctor cannot talk to you ,you can call a local eyesurgeoon and share your problem .Wow thats how they treat you after you are out of the building .The doctor didnt even have the time to call me back and understand my issue after travelling all the way and spending decent amount of money and he is said to be the best doctor of the hospital .Doctor Ganesha .So please do your home work and go to the right place.

The hospital is clean.I have been visiting the Jayanagar branch from 2018.While the process is still good I am afraid they dont sanitize the equipment after each use.They say we have done it.I have personally seen 3 patients being asked to place thier chin and forehead with no sanitization done in between.

Please do not visit this hospital now during Covid times for any kind of EYE EXAMINATION OR ROUTINE EYE CHECKUP. They are just collecting the fees of Rs.500.00 and do not conduct any kind of eye tests(like OCT, detailed eye testing etc) in order to check on the status of the eye power or any other eye issues. The relevant doctors pretend as if they are doing a great amount of testing just by sitting on a chair (ordinary chair) and detailed tests are not done at all. My recommendation to all is -- DO NOT BOOK ANY EYE TEST OR EXAMINATIONS HERE DURING THIS COVID TIMES. They are just fooling people after collecting the fee in advance.

Lack of empathy :My mother went for cataract surgery,she is blinded by 1 eye and she was supposed to get operated for the other eye at the age of 65. She was extremely nervous but still they didnt allow me and my father to be with her so that 1 person stays with her and the other does the formalities.They got hung up on one attendee rule.based on her condition they could make some exception ,so no sense of empathy.Rules are for human,human isnt for rule.And there is nothing above Humanity.

Dear Dr. Ganesh,You have to teach your staff to be little courteous especially to aged people when they are visiting your hospital for treatment. More over people in your corporate department are the most arrogant when they answer over the phone. As aged people, we look forward for some solace in the hospital when we come for a check up. I think the personnel in government hospitals are more polite and gentle in attending to the patients. Its a very sorry state in your hospital at K. R. Road.Hope you will bring about a change in your hospital.

I recently underwent Relex Smile procedure here at Netradhama. Everyone here, starting from the watchman, receptionist, eye technicians, counsellors, nurses to doctors , is very polite and helpful. They will guide you at every step. My first consultation was with Dr. Samhitha, who explained to me all the options I had. After all the scans and tests( which by the way are numerous and done by fancy machines:)), Dr.Savio advised this procedure given its safety and superior results. On the day I was nervous, but the reassuring environment and the comforting staff made me go with it anyway. The ot complex is spick n clean. The nurse literally held my hand and walked me to the table and even held my hand throughout the procedure which lasted barely 10min! As for the surgeon, Dr. Savio, hes a burst of energy! ..very cheerful and confident, he was talking to me and reassuring me through out the procedure as well as preop n post op and made his job seem like a walk in the park! He did a beautiful job and I have 100% correction right from day 1, and no side effects whatsoever. Would definitely recommend this hospital as well as the surgeons here to anybody looking for refractive procedures!

I got SMILE Extra surgery done on Nov 22nd 2018. Initially I went for a general check up in Rajajinagar branch, they suggested for Lasik surgery if interested go n contact counsellors. I contacted them, they explained the cost and many other things and informed first you need to do pentacam scan. First they informed me SMILE suits you, there is a discount going on next week we will give you slot. My friends informed me they will do 4 to 5 scans before surgery I asked regarding that, only pentacam is done, no other scan is done, they told we will done on surgery day informed me to pay advance, I paid 30k advance, later they told that you need to go to Jayanagar branch for surgery.On Nov 22nd prepared my self, took one week vacation and went to jaynagar branch with my parents. Later they did remaining scans and Dr sheetal informed me that my eye doesn’t support SMILE I should go for SMILE extra. I felt bad, they could have done this check up properly before and scheduled my surgery I didn’t rush ..those counsellors rushed up. Later anyhow I have prepared that today is my surgery, I can’t go back to my office stating it got cancelled. It looks so weird they think what type of hospital they didn’t do these checks up earlier and also I paid advance 30K, in the receipt it was written in caps no refunds. Later I decided to do my surgery on the same day paid 1.4L without any discount. Next day follow up check up then told me to come after 1 month. After 1 month when I visited my one eye was not proper they told still haze is there as we did smile extra, you come after 3 months.Later again I consulted Dr Sheetal, and she suggested me some vitamin tablet and few drops for one months and told me to visit again. Same issue no improvement. Every month started visiting till 10 months no progress. My one eye was proper. one more when I compare it was blurred. When they tried to check the power of one eye it was not taking any power, but the words what I see what blurred and a double image I will get. Every time same answer after one month u come and get it check. Sheetal gave me the example of US. In US they will allow to drive for this sight also and might be you have internal issue. I had nothing internal issues. I used to leave my classes n go every month for check up for 50 kms up n down I used to travel by cab, consultation fees and wait time one day returning back with same answer. Use to feel bad.If I start listing down I have very bad experience in this hospital. After 10 months of roaming to the jaynagar branch spending every time approx. 1.5 to 2k. thought of meeting Dr Ganesh once and inform him how worst I felt regarding your hospital service. I struggled a lot for his appointment. As sheetal did my surgery they were not ready to give me Dr Sri Ganesh appointment, they use to say his appointment is 1k you know…as if I was not paying I have already spent so much with so much of struggle and argument with receptionist I took his appointment. My main intension was complain about his hospital, obviously I knew he don’t accept the mistakes and he explained same thing. Don’t compare your eyes ignore your one eye, your one more eye is better than the normal person they told and even he gave US example, in US person can drive if you have power like this. I told him everything. After 10 months of roaming to this hospital he told , my eye will be like this it will not get recovered.I personally don’t suggest this hospital to anyone, money minded hospital. I knew not everyone will experience the same, my experience was this literally suffered for 10 months very badly. After 11 months now I following their rules ignore one eye, don’t compare I am doing that, no other way. Money is gone time is gone. Just follow what they told. Sometimes my eyes get blurred that made me to write review comments. I don’t feel like go to this hospital and do general check up.If Eye doesnt support surgery inform them earlier, we will be happy with our specs.I have big story, i have try to explain in short Ignore grammatical mistakes.

I got operated for my myopia long time back..after which my cornia was unstable and from soft lense I moved to rgp lens...I am not sure if it was my mistake to get the LASIK done or doctors mistake of not identifying if it was suitable for me or not..anyways still suffering with problem ...always be careful even if they say its 99.99% safe you make that unlucky person to fall in that 0.01 pleasecategory....shcomplications

I had smile extra done on my eyes two years back and I am happy that I took the right decision. I had very high eye power, 6 on left eye and 7 on right eye and never thought that I can get them corrected. Dr. Sheetal Brar answered all my queries related to procedure very patiently and motivated me which helped me get rid of my glasses which I was wearing since childhood. Now I can wear sunglasses and dont have to put 3d glasses on top of my power glasses while watching 3d movies :). I highly recommend this hospital for any eye related treatment.

Still need improvement in waiting time especially in reflective surgery section.After finishing the normal appointment with in an hour.l,It took more than 6hrs to meet a reflective surgeon for one opinion.

This eye hospital to some may appear to be a relief for eye problems but to others may be a dooms paradise . The senior eye surgeons like Dr. Shibi Dev are regarded as Gods messengers who with their utmost dedication treat their patients . On the other hand , cornea and refractive surgery consultant Dr. Vipul Bhandari are an utter shame . Though Dr. Bhandari is not a part of this prestigious eye clinic anymore but my visit to him in the year 2014 for Lasik surgery was deplorable . Absolutely inexperienced and callous doctor who spoils the reputation of reliable organisations . So check the doctor rapport before seeking any medical help specially for your precious and sensitive eyes and not just blindly follow the popularity of the concerned institution .
