It is a working clock. But nowadays camera are not allowed there. As they have allowed photographers there to mint money.

Lalbagh Botanical Garden! Its a place with variety of flowers. A large area loaded with flowers and so much of greenery. Nice place to hangout with friends and family. But one will get to see the flowers only in their season. Inside the garden there are vendors for snacks and cold drinks. There are more than one entrance to the garden. Also ticket fare is not much (25 per head as of now), if u park your vehicle outside. There is another entrance where one can take their two wheeler inside the park. Overall, nice place to visit and spend time with loved ones.

The entrance to the park is marked by an equestrian statue of Chamaraja Wodeyar of Mysore. Another popular attraction is the surreal Floral Clock, surrounded by Snow White and the seven dwarfs; this was a gift from Hindustan Machine Tools, leading Indian manufacturer of watches.

This is a special clock made by HMT way back using grass and flowers and it is beautiful as ever.I was always fascinated by this clock as a kid. There are sculptures of characters from Snow white - the seven dwarfs, deer etc. on the lawn bed. It is really cute and kids will love this structure.

Awesome piece of work, probably thats why there is a saying old is gold. The floral clock was an amusement for me and friends during our childhood days. The best part is, that the floral clock shows the right time always. One of my favorite places to spend time either with friends or all alone. Lal bagh is a great place within the heart of the city, you will feel like you entered a different place away from all the hustle of the busy city life. It is awesome during the evenings and early mornings, especially for a nice healthy walk/jog or meditation.

A cuckoo which popped out every hour was added in 1905. The clock was soon imitated across the United Kingdom and later throughout the world.
