Absolutely loved the English breakfast. About the tea, it was tasting ultra light. The brown bread could have been soft.

Some of the worst food Ive ever been served. Greasy and inedible. The hash browns were deep fried balls of batter, I couldnt even find any potato in them. The staff and the atmosphere were nice but couldnt save from the greasy dated grim food

Very nice cafe specialising in breakfasts that are a bit different to what you usually have. The granola with Greek yoghurt was delicious. Lovely passion fruit, orange, and banana included.

Went for Sunday morning breakfast and it soon fills to capacity just after 10am. Good food, nicely presented.

After a long walk around bath we stopped at this vibrant cafe. Enjoyed an excellent full English and excellent coffee, two actually, as were offered a top up. James (i think) who served us radiated positive energy, a fantastic thing in the current challenging climate. Well recommended and hope to revisit.

A nice enough brunch in Bath, but a bit overhyped - the portions were okay (not huge) and nothing was super special, it was expensive for what it was.

Enjoyed our quick stop!We (2 adults, 1 5yo) stopped for a drink and snack mid afternoon on a hot August day whilst visiting Bath.My wife and I were perfectly satisfied with our lovely cold beer and wine and delicious olives.Theres nothing for kids as such (no kids menu) but we did get scrambled eggs with toast which was very tasty.Service was very friendly.We didnt time it right to try the tapas, maybe another time!

Foods great and teas great! Nuff said. However sounds do echo strongly in this old building, so if another group come in and talk loudly it can be a struggle to hear the other person youre with. Adds to the character I guess.

Lovely little café with friendly staff, easygoing with children. Dont drink too many cocktails or the clunky stairs to go down to the toilet will become your worst enemy.

Felt a bit racially profiled. Decent full english, forgot to put my mask on whilst going to the toilet, and was strictly told off which is fine if not for the bar staffs friends walking up and down without face masks. May have just because I’m ‘Chinese’ looking.

I would vote them with fantastic 5 stars!Smoked Haddock Kedgeree with fried duck egg and Confit Pork, Chorizo and Cider Lentils were both excellent!

Been here for the veggie and vegan breakfast many times and its always great. Their coffee is really nice too and you get one refill so you can enjoy one before and another hot one during your breakfast 🙂

Small cafe tasty food. Ordered the full English which comes with unlimited tea or coffee and toast so was a bit surprised it came with one slice to start. Just a little moan. Was a nice breakfast tho.

A nice and casual atmosphere. The food is very decent but nothing special. My favourite was parsnip and honey soup. Cannot really remember anything else I had, which is saying something . The most disappointing thing was a dessert. I know the place is called Same Same but Different but serving ice-cream with raw apples is DEFINITELY a big no-no.(or perhaps too different for my taste). Overall, the evening was very pleasant but the food was only average hence the rating of 3- stars.

Had some tapas here while staying in Bath at the end of September. The deal was 3 tapas and a glass of wine for £16. I must say the food was first class, every dish we had was so flavoursome, some of the tastiest dishes you could wish for. Id advise anyone to spend a nice relaxing early evening here, take your time and savour every mouthful. Friendly service too I might add.

Oh yes! They have great hours here being open early when nearly everything else in Bath is closed up. I loved the Vegetarian Breakfast, and the orange juice was lovely. Seems quite popular also!

Nice cute spot for lunch! The brie sandwich was fantastic. I would also highly recommend the peach tea, thought it was a little pricy. They have a little outdoor seating area, which is great during a warm day. Prices are overall a little high, but the food didnt take long and it was excellent.

We stopped for lunch and were lucky enough to have a table outside in the sun. Great service and a wonderful idea of choosing a sandwich filling and having it as a salad. We had the goats cheese, veg and salad which was delicious. Also brilliant to be able to sip a glass of prosecco with it. If I lived in Bath, this would be my regular stop!

We visited in a group of 6 to have brunch. The food was well prepared and tasty. The service was okay. Clearly they were very busy but it was difficult to get the attention of the servers. For example, the full English breakfast comes with unlimited bread and drinks but they werent particularly happy to bring additional items when requested. I would try it again for dinner but maybe on a less busy day, like in the week.

Overpriced but good food. Went in the morning paid £9.50 for the full English breakfast, maybe my working class instincts but it was underwhelming for the price. I had to go eat else where to fill me up shortly after. If you have a small appetite, want pleasant food and have extra money to spend, itll suit you.

If you are looking for somewhere in Bath to have breakfast, I can highly recommend this small venue tucked away just off one of the main roads. Food and service great! If I return to Bath, I would like to try an evening meal here.

Excellent service and great food. The staff and chef are so nice and friendly. My baby enjoyed the steak a lot and the tapas are delicious. We felt just like having tapas in Spain. Highly recommended and we definitely will return next time in Bath.

This was a lovely stop for a late meal and drink. The small plates are great too share and experiment with. The was a wide range of options ranging from Indian British inspired foods to more traditional Spanish tapas. A small but tasty cocktail list too.

We looked this place up based on the reviews. Didnt disappoint. Lovely full English brunch and my girlfriend had the vegetarian option...very good quality food, cosy, quiet and great hospitality.

Had a lovely vegetarian brunch (lots of meat options available too). The staff were polite and ensured you have everything you need. Highly recommend.

Lovely eggs (Benedict and scrambled) and the potatoes chunks are very moreish! Nice friendly service too. Only downside is a big door that lets in cold air on a cold February day.

Great tapas, and great mains. Just a shame they stopped tapas im the day this is only available if you go in the evenings. Lovely atmosphere and situated centrally in Bath close to the Circus, Costume Museum and shops.

Food here is excellent! And one special point you need to know is they serve unlimited toasts in the morning with your breakfast, tea as well! A bit tight and crowed sometimes, so you will have to come early, or wait for a bit. But besides this, everything is wonderful!

For several years we looked forward to having lunch or dinner here. Expecting something good we ate at same same last week and both of us had a truly disappointing kedgeree, raw curry powder, very little fish, a fried duck egg (was this not poached a couple of years ago?). Service not great, no enquiry from waitress whether we had an enjoyable meal. Cannot believe chef had tasted this dish or was the same chef who produced excellent dishes in the past. Frankly not worthy of 2 stars but gave 3 for old times sake. Would find it very difficult to recommend this restaurant or to risk another meal here.
