Absolutely hands down the best Tikka masala Ive ever had in my life perfect to take back to the travel lodge as their food is horrible. Definitely be going again next time I visit bath 👍🏼👍🏼

Absolutely superb and I echo the other comments. By far the best Indian food Ive ever had! Food is fresh with a great depth of flavour and not too oily which is something Ive found really off putting with other Indians that Ive had in the past.

Tried to get a meal and it was scheduled for 1 - 1.5 hours on a sunday, so I cancelled. 2 hours later the food turned up whilst I was in the bath. When I said OK I will take it the delivery guy said no as he will have to pay for it. I suspect i will and this is a con. So I did not get the food and will have to fight to get my money back. If I had been given the food (2 hours later I would have paid for it as I had not eaten). But when I tried to have the food they said that they would have to pay for it, but I am still concerned I will end up paying for it, so I let them have it back. I obviously should have taken the food as I suspect I will still have to pay for it. They forced me into handing the food back, but why would they go to the effort. What an absolute shower and what a con, please do not use this restaurant. I am sure that they have another story but I ordered food and was told it would take hours, then tried to cancel, then when was forced out of the bath hours later and explained the position, they would not allow me to have the food and I suspect I will still have to pay for everything. Dont use a company/restaurant like this it all appears to be a con.

Finally found a good Indian takeaway in Bath! Everything we ordered was delicious and hot when it arrived! Will definitely be ordering again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Ruposhi Restaurant Take Away is without question the best Indian eating experience outside Brick Lane in Whitechapel. The food is excellent old fashioned taylored to the individual. Mr Hussain and son Iqubal with two daughters and master chef Muhammad (Uncle) opening in 1988, the place has a country wide reputation and is busy! But very efficient. One is greeted in very friendly manner and the food is outstanding.

Thank you for the amazing food! Even though we had to wait until we arrived at Melksham (30 minute drive), the food was still hot and delicious. I also want to give a mention to the friendly staff for the excellent customer service! Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing curries, naan and rice. I tried lamb balti and bhuna balti. The meat was cooked to perfection, so tender and tasty. The curry was well seasoned. I usually add extra salt to my food but did not have to this time.It took 55 minutes to arrive but I live on the other side of Bath and I appreciate they deliver to my area too so not complaining. I will definitely order from here again!

The Ruposhi, hands down. without doubt the best curry takeaway in Bath, with the most friendly staff. Curries are of excellent restaurant standards so there are slightly cheeper elsewhere but none better.

Very disappointed to be honest, particularly after reading all the great reviews. The takeaway arrived 15 minutes late, the driver explained he had another delivery the other side of Bath! So the takeaway was not even warm, the naan & onion bhaji were burnt as well so not the best first experience.

There are lots of reviews posted about Indian food takeaways that bear no resemblance to reality. The Ruposhi is the exeption and it is exeptional. This is easily the finest indian food available in Bath. Always delicious, Ive been eating fine Ruposhi food for decades. A lovely family business.

I have been using the Ruposhi since 1989. Over the years it has had various different people working there. It has been some bad periods when the food was terrible. However, at the moment it is in great hands. The quality of the food is good with very friendly staff. The Tikka Special curries are highly recommended. I hope they keep it up.

Im guilty of not normally leaving a review after having a nice meal. But today I had to get off my back side and say something.Ordered a £45.00 meal for the family and as always we have not been disappointed. Iqubal and Juber have really got this place on lockdown. Sunday ordered 2 lamb bhunas 1 chicken kema 2 pilau rice 1 keema naan 2 onion bajis. Order arrived at 22.50. The bhunas were cold and runny a pashmari naan 2 very broken bajis arrived not at keema naan. I called them oh nothing we can do no driver will sort it when you come again wont be I am not impressed I will not use them.ever again really poor service from what is an established indian takeaway sadly southdown balti was closed never order a curry on Sunday

By far the best curry place in Bath. Always perfect everytime

A disappointing curry, it was swimming in oil, the naan bread was terrible and the biryani tasteless. I certainly wont be going back! The reason Ive given 2 stars is that the staff were very friendly and helpful otherwise it would have been a one.

We are staying at the Travelodge which is literally less than 4 minutes walk. Ordered and collected - it was an amazing curry , Really really niceWould 100 per ent recommend this take away considering how we all get used to our locals - this was right up there with some of the best curries I have had. My wife and I had an excellent experience a few days ago, when we tried Ruposhi for the first time. We have tried various Indian delivery/takeways from across Bath (we live near Batheaston) and Ruposhis was by far the best in term of both the quality and quantity of food. Also, it was excellent value for money and fast delivery, for Saturday evening. We will definitely try Ruposhi again. We definitely recommend them. Well done guys!

Occasionally a bit forgetful on large orders but I have tried many indian takeaways in the area and this is the one I keep coming back to. The curries are not overly sweet and gloopy like many other places at a similar price. I can recommend the lamb jalfrezi, it has good spices and is a very satisfying curry

Fantastic staff , awesome food

Delivery took 1 hour 15 mins on a Wednesday night vs the 40 mins I was told. No huge complaint there.On arrival the food was not the hottest.The rice looked fine - fragrant. After heating the curry up I covered my rice with a very oily chicken tikka Jalfrezi:8 pieces of chicken, standard. The peshwari bread, although slightly soggy was fair.Im not wholly sure if Id go back. The Jalfrezi, was not typical typical of the dish. The sauce was thick and oily and there was no big chillis present...no doubt they were chopped. But it did not have the same layered kind of tastes one gets. Very pungent, and not in a completely pleasurable way.Thanks for recommending Jalfrezi previous reviewer. Do you eat out much?

Spend near on £30 on a meal only for them to forget the mint sauce and jalpino pickle, which made my meal dry and boring, not impressed, would be like having a roast with no gravey !
