The place makes you feel you are in Mexico. The food was really yum. We enjoyed the food starting from the fries to the mains.The car park is right at the front of the restaurant so it saves a walk. The Fajitas are recommended. The staff is really good and attentive. Good place to hang out in a group too.

Book in advance as this is usually packed and for a good reason. The vibe is down to earth friendly. We love the chicken quesadilla and lamb taco.

Regularly come here for lunch and coffee. The food here is healthy, rich, tasty and very authentic, its not Tex-Mex. the chefs and baristas here are really refined in their craft. The food is also served in generous quantities and with sides.Their regular sized coffee is rather small and I dislike how when I order a coffee they assume you want a regular without asking you... Its very easy to forget to tell them the size you want so I wished they had a habit of asking you want size you wanted for yourself.Still 5 stars on balance.

Casual atmosphere, great food! Although I ended up eating my friends meal as we got tripped up by the names upon getting them, but would go back again in a heartbeat. Find it cool how they’ve made use of what looked to once be a petrol station shop. Great flavours

Managed to get a same day booking as had a sudden hankering for some decent food!! Drinks selection is awesome and the food is wonderfully authentic plus filling. I look forward to going back again and trying more of the food. The atmosphere was also one of the best vibes both me and my partner have had since dining out, also great for a beer after work.Will be back!!

Expensive isnt even appropriate. Its a complete theft ripoff. 3 tiny tacos, which is literally just 50grams of shredded meat inside some thin wrap , for 6 dollars each. its about 2 bites per taco. so $3 per bite. Youd think youd be buying the most amazing food in the world for that price. But i could cook it in 5 minutes at home for 50c. This is as another reviewer said disgusting. Not the food, but the price. the taste is average. the price is disgusting. what are the 3 cheapest foods available? beans, rice and wrap. Add them together, and charge 6000% and then say beuno tastio, hombre! in a loud fake mexican voice and think its authentic. You will notice the bag feels relatively decent weight for $50. Then when you open the bag, you will find 50% of the weight (no lie) is from 4 different sauces (worth maybe 10% of the weight you expected to pay for in food) Theyre simply fraudsters.

Fish tacos and margaritas - 13/10/19, fantastic. Staff made it magic.Great restaurant for lazy lunch with friends, the deco is amazing inside. Menu is extensive and caters to all taste buds. The wait staff were super friendly and helpful, describing the dishes with a brief background. My favourite was the prawn tacos, packed with flavors. Chicken and lamb tacos were super tasty. The nachos were a rear find, and coffee was fantastic. Fun day out by all, great place.

Best Mexican Ive had in Auckland. Went for a work lunch with 8 people. Everyone loved their meals and then atmosphere. The decorating is great and the service was good. Pricing is reasonable too! Would recommend 120%. So good!

We just saw In the Heights at the cinema and thought we’d get food fitting the vibe of latin america. This place was excellent for atmosphere, service and food. I haven’t had good vegetarian tacos (De Nopales) like these ever before..the feta on top is just👌🏻Their mageritas are topped with a spicy rim..delish. Great variety on the menu and not too pricey. Muy buena!!

Its a great family friendly restaurant with generous portion size. The deco is full of character and it is very clean. The outdoor playground facility is great for the kids, especially on a sunny day. I recommend the stuffed chile. The food is not spicy, but they have many different hot sauces, so you can make it as hot as you want.

Among the best Mexican food I have eaten. They even had some Tex-Mex items my partner and I miss eating: Chimichanga, Fajitas, nachos! The Tres Leches cake is divine! Coming back for more!

Really enjoyed the enchilada with chicken. The outdoor seating area has blankets and gas heaters so even in winter it was quite pleasant, that might be different in moderate wind.

Pretty authentic for little old NZ.The staff are super helpful and very service oriented.Very cool spot decorated with large murals by a local artist in what looks like used to be a gas station once upon a time.Their chorizo con papas are authentic and tasty. The food at this place is out of this world, their chimichanga will take you through your paces thats for sure.

It was really hard for me to find good, authentic Mexican food while I was traveling around New Zealand. However, this place has the best tacos in the most authentic margaritas. The guacamole is delicious, and I highly recommend the Carnitas tacos.

We went there on a Tuesday evening and was pleasantly surprised by the $20 Tuesday deal for selected tacos and a beer. Ended up ordering chicken, lamb and pulled pork tacos plus prawn cerviche which were all delicious. Our favourite was the pulled pork!

Went in with high hopes upon a friends recommendations. First and last experience. Dropped in here for takeaway lunch, my first 4 options from the menu was not available, so I settled on the chicken tacosThe three tacos were uninspiring, dry tasteless pulled chicken. The Vegetables in the taco were fresh but somehow managed to be bland and tasteless. Suacing was generous however did not add value to the dish. , Disappointing expensive lunch $18 that left me a little hungry and wanting for more in terms of portion size. Lovely environment and friendly staff.

Waited 80 mins for food to eat in, opted for takeaway after waiting so long. If they were busy they should have let us know when we ordered, not after we spent 60 minutes waiting and I had to ask.

Great place, amazing food, beautiful and unique drinks, loved the sangria, good service, BUT terrible management under level 2.People were standing all over the place, different servers taking orders and delivering food to the same table, clearly less than 1 meter of distance between full tables, people getting into the restaurant without scanning the QR code and there wasnt any registration book to trace visitors, it was completely full and it looked like more than 100 people in the restaurant, people ordering from the counter, tables being set up without costumers, and I saw a table were there were more than 10 people.It is horrible how they do not have any control over the place just few days after coming back from a lockdown, it looks like the restrictions of level 2 are completely jokes for them, its unacceptable how business are not cooperating and following orders given by the government, I would love to know what the council of Auckland and restaurant association thinks about this, this situation is not a joke and many countries are being terrible affected, and it should be avoided to happen in New Zealand but with this type of attitude from businesses, it looks like a they do not care about social health.I love this place, its incredibly good and yummy, but they should and must do something about this.

A small, perfectly formed Mexican-themed café/restaurant. Go here for light Mexican bites and lunches. Good coffee and a few decent beers with seating indoors, outdoors under shade or cover. A few car parks out the front. Good for evenings too.

Went to this festive Mexican restaurant twice in the last few weeks!! Delicious and authentic food both times. They cater well to vegan with the ability to substitute vegan cheese in almost all the dishes.The second time I was lucky enough to be there on Mariachi night, which was very entertaining and heartwarming!!

Great service, tasty generous mexican portions. Basic rustic Cantina style setting, the outdoor area is close to cars parked in the driveway which detracts a little. Good George beer on tap. 👍 Its not cheap Mexican food (particularly entrees) but overall a good experience, will come back.

It’s the first Mexican Restaurant that I’ve been to in Auckland. Been here few times and I love their shrimp tacos, nachos, pulled pork burritos. Love their shop decorations too! On average, their servings are quite big. Slightly pricey but their food totally worth the price and experience. Services are good and they are real friendly. Can’t wait to go again!
