I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the concierge at this establishment. In my multiple years of residency here I have not met a more professional and personable concierge than Dominique. She is hospitable and goes the extra mile, by genuinely taking an interest in not just the support requested as a resident but who you are as a person. Even when navigating a larger crowd, in the lobby the other day, she moved with efficiency and effectiveness. Her effort is truly valued.
I looked at many apartments in the area and in other neighborhoods of DC and could not be happier with my choice of Rhode Island Row.The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, clean, has all new appliances and fixtures, and a ton of natural light. The common areas are all clean, well-maintained, and the other residents are always very pleasant. The location of the complex is ideal - right next to a Giant, Home Depot, and the metro. Parking through Colonial Parking is also very straightforward and easy at Rhode Island Row.The staff is helpful and professional. Specifically, Angela is a rockstar leasing agent and Zane, one of the concierges, is always so very communicative and hospitable. It is also a dog-friendly community, with several neighbors out walking their dogs which is nice for my little pup.I highly recommend Rhode Island Row to anyone moving to DC for the first time, or moving from within DC looking for a great new apartment.
Beautiful apartment. Common areas and shared spaces are frequently cleaned and leasing office / maintenance responds promptly to all of my repair requests. Rachel and Gabby at the concierge desk are extremely nice and accommodating. Super professional and willing to help whenever I need assistance. Angela helped us in the leasing office when we moved in. She was super kind as well and responded promptly to all my questions and messages even if it was after hours. Great place to live! I have been here since January and so far so good
Ive been living at Rhode Island Row for almost 2 years now and love everything about it. The staff at the complex is super kind, inviting, and always willing to lend a hand! Rachel and Gabby on the concierge team are amazing, and Zach on the maintenance team is quick to figure out what the problem is and address it immediately. Aside from the great staff, the location is super convenient, located right next to the Rhode Island metro stop. Overall - reasonable rates, great location, and incredible staff!
Everything is perfect except that lady at the front desk, very awful, seems to hate her job and the residents that live there. Whenever it’s her, it’s really unpleasant. She will be on her phone while you wait to talk to her. And also when you want your package she will make you wait while standing gossiping with other people that even came after you. You need to get ride of the bad apples if not..
Rhode Island Rows Evening Concierge, Gabby, provides amazing customer service. She is always willing to help us and provides a professional and positive attitude no matter the hour. Gabby goes the extra mile by learning who her residents are, and you can count on her to ask about your life and how things are going. She goes above and beyond to help meet resident needs, and truly enhances our overall Rhode Island Row resident experience.
The afternoon woman that works at the concierge desk is awful. She is so blatantly rude and disrespectful to the tenants that live here. She is very unfriendly unlike her other co workers. Every time I attempt to greet her she does not acknowledge me, or even say hello. Today, there were 3 tenants in the lobby waiting to be assisted while she was gossiping to a friend outside for 15 minutes until I politely let her know that she had people waiting on her and she proceeded to roll her eyes. She is also always in the lobby gossiping to different friends very loudly and obnoxiously and others can hear her. She is very innapropriate and unprofessional. Ive had many disrespectful encounters with her but today itself was absolutely ridiculous. Everyone that works here is so friendly and outgoing and nice besides her. I really hope my message makes a difference and she changes her attitude that she seems to have every day.
I toured Rhode Island Row in February 2021, and after viewing many properties, I decided to sign a lease with them in March 2021. The property is very well kept, the amenities are great, and the units are fairly upgraded. Perfect apartment community for me.Special thank you to my leasing agent, Angela. She was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable during my tour. She went out of her way to find exactly what I was looking for within a set price range and has been beyond accommodating since I decided to lease. She made the process a breeze for me. I highly recommend that you work with Angela if youre planning to tour or lease with Rhode Island Row.
Gabby from the front desk is one of the most charismatic and energetic members of the staff. Shes one of the reasons I didnt questions renewing my lease :). Not only does she always get me and my roommate whenever we come through the building but she actually goes out of her way to build a rapport with each resident of the building. She is also good about notifications and returning messages. Shes a star member of your team and you all should give her a raise (at a minimum) maybe a promotion is in the cards.
I’ve been coming to Rhode Island Row each weekend to house sit for my employer. The concierge Gabby is beyond amazing. Although I am not a resident at this property she never fails to make sure I feel welcome! Thank you Gabby for your astonishing service and impact!
Just moved into the building about two weeks ago and have had a great experience so far. The apartments are beautiful and the staff is amazing, especially Gabby at the front desk. She’s always so pleasant and is so helpful. Love living here!!
Great building and incredibly spacious apartments! You wont find a better location with nicer apartments for the price.Ask for Sam! He was the most helpful and patient, and helped me find the perfect home I was looking for!!
The staff here are great! The front desk are always super helpful, especially Gabby!Being that I just moved to D.C., I’m not that familiar with where to get go for things but Gabby and the rest of the team always have some good suggestions!
Gabby is phenomenal! She really works hard to make sure I has everything I need from packages to a good laugh! She is professional and fun! She really makes the living experience here at Rhode Island Row spectacular!
I originally chose Rhode Island Row apartments as my new home because of the area and amenities but after living here for a few months I’ve found the staff to be the best part! Gabby and Rachel have both made my experience here one to remember and I would definitely recommend Rhode Island Row to anyone who is in the market for a new home!
Gabby is absolutely amazing! She is so warm, jovial, and a pleasure to see at the front desk when I walk in with my family. She knows everyone in my family by name which makes her so much more personable and relatable. I think she went on vacation for a week and when I saw her again I was so excited that I told her not to leave us again! I love having her and seeing her at the front desk!!
I moved here about a month ago and I am VERY pleased with Rhode Island Row so far.In the beginning, there were a few problems with my unit but RIR has kept their word and is fixed everything.I would definitely recommend this place. The staff is great, the building looks really nice and clean, I feel safe and secure, and I am overall happy with my unit. The afternoon/evening concierge, Gabby, gives off an amazing energy that makes the environment very comfortable and she always goes the extra mile to assist me with whatever I need.Zach/Zack has been very attentive, professional, and pleasant while handling maintenance requests.Angela, Luis, and Rachel are always happy and nice when I see them! The only two cons I have are the parking and the train. If there was some sort of complementary parking for guests, at least, that would be great. The train is annoying, but I chose to live next to it, so that’s really on me. Noise cancellation windows would be a great touch though!
Ever since I decided to make Rhode Island Row my home, Luis M. was nearby to answer and questions I had or address any concerns. I lived in a not-so-great apartment before and was never able to make it home; but Rhode Island Row has become a pleasant contrast and I love living here. The staff is welcoming and compassionate (especially Luis) and I’m very excited about this new home of mine.UPDATE: I wanted to follow up and pay tribute to another excellent staff at Rhode Island Row: Gabby. She is always so helpful and supportive to me and I cant imagine the front desk without her presence. She goes above and beyond great customer service and does her part to make sure that you are actually doing okay. Gabby is so friendly and kind and is quick to resolve any issue. She really is such a bright light, especially during these dark times, and I am so grateful for her.I hope that Rhode Island Row celebrates the work that Gabby and Luis as much as I do! Thanks to the both of them for making my experience here amazing!
Great place. Beautiful upscale apartments. Great atmosphere and located next to the metro. Clean and secure. Easy to contact staff. Sam was very professional. Hopefully moving in soon.
All the staff is great, however Gabby is at the front concierge mostly when I need assistance. She is very attentive and helpful. I love the customer service she provides.
Dominique is one of the best concierge that I’ve come in contact with. She is always kind and friendly. Whenever I come to get my packages her communication is always on point. Dominique keep up the excellent work and Thank You for being an awesome overnight concierge!
Was visiting some friends and family. This place looks incredible. Definitely caught my interest. Sam was very hospitable and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions regarding the establishment and the amenities.
Major hat tip to all the staff here, including Brian, Desmond, Angela, Sam, Rachel, Gabby, Zach (maintenance), and all the concierges (hope Im not leaving anyone out!). Every time I pass the Concierge desk, Gabby and Rachel always take the time to greet me, and Sam/Angela has been patient in answering my questions. Using the freight elevator and the whole experience was very smooth.Everyone has been friendly and helpful when I needed help, so far. Big props to this property—I lived at another Bozzuto property and this place definitely offers the Bozzuto experience positively. Top notch amenities and large, inviting apartments with plenty of square foot, not to mention a more chill suburban vibe right in the city. 5 stars from me thus far!
Gabby is absolutely amazing. She is the best concierge in the building. She is extremely helpful, sweet, personable and professional. I hope she remains in the building for as long as I live here.
When I think of Rhode Island Row, I think of the location, the architecture, and the staff. Speaking of staff, I have to give praises where it’s due, and no one deserves it more than Angela. I moved in on October, and it was the smoothest move in you could imagine, thanks to Angela. Then recently I had some domestic turmoil, and Angela, and her superstar cast moved me, from one apartment to another free of charge y’all. Angela literally brought me to tears, and I thank her for it. I’ve been smiling ever since. Thanks Angela, your the real MVP
I have absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Management has been great and very attentive when required. The front desk, Rachel, is amazing. She is a very patient person with a great demeanor. The concierge duty can be daunting, however she performs it incredibly. Likewise, Rachels colleague Angela, has demonstrated that she truly cares about the residence here -- always going above and beyond with her duties enthusiastically -- a consummate professional. The assistant managers, Desmond and Brian have also demonstrated caring for the residence and work easily with the many different people residing here. Bozzuto should continue to be proud of employing great employees and continue to support their all inclusive environment by recognizing these superior performers.
Very pleased when I walked in I was greeted & everyone was friendly. Sam assisted me with my viewings today, Sam it was a pleasure to meet you. I will be in touch. Thanksconsidering applying. Thanks!!!
Gabby the concierge is the absolute best regarding any issues need during leasing hours or not it makes the Rhode Island Row experience so Grand, convenient & comfortable. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars she’s the absolute best!!!!!
Sam was great! Had a tour of the property, and he was very informative and knowledgeable of the area. If you are looking to move here ask for Sam.
Very impressed by the living standards here. While I technically didnt live in the building, my daughter did and she was very well taken care of by Mr. Morton. He addressed all of her needs and concerns especially during her final exams. The property seems to be very well kept, clean and safe. The pool area is also a nice touch.
Let me start by saying ... The staff at RIR is the greatest and I think Gabby is my favorite at the front desk. There is no ends that this girl wont go to. I have come in so frustrated for one reason or another and she has been the calm in the storm. I appreciate her patience, her composure, her empathy, her quick thinking. Im so thankful for meeting her here at RIR.
Gabby is the best! When I walk in she always lets me know if I h e a package and retrieves it for me without me even asking. She’s very bubbly and welcoming! A friendly welcoming face!
UPDATE: GABBY IS AMAZING, Rhode Island Row wouldn’t be the same without her ♥️!I moved out here for work and was lucky enough to find these great apartments! Aside from the staff being super kind, helpful, and responsive, the community is great for recent graduates and young professionals! I feels like I’m back on campus living here, and it’s great to be around more people that look like me and are closer in age. Don’t miss out on an excellent opportunity to live here; Rhode Island Row is fantastic!
Gabby and Angela are the Most incredible people I came in counter with. They tend to my every need and I appreciate all of their help and they have excellent customer service.
I recently visited a friend at rhode island row and spoke to Sam in the lobby and he was so nice. great staff!
This is a really cool spot in dc. The atmosphere is very nice, lobby looks like a hotel! Luis was very nice to talk to and even though it wasnt his job cheered me up on a bad day. Oh, and carolina kitchen is lovely!
I am very happy with my experience at Rhode Island! A staff member named Lewis not only answered my questions but also was very caring for how I was doing as a person. Great community and amenity’s!
Gabby is the best concierge by far.! Very understanding, helpful, & organized! She’s not annoying, she’s fun to be around when spoken to & always in a great mood. Please keep here- I’m a 2 year resident
Gabby is phenomenal concierge. Her professionalism and hospitality are second to none. She took the time to attend to my situation without with care. Please hire more Gabbys. She’s amazing!
Met this really nice guy that had my same last name and told me all about Rhode Island Row. Looking to move there andSoon!
Sam thank you for showing us around yesterday. Although, we are still searching, you’ve made our experience worth touring. We’ll keep you posted.
Gabby is wonderful, every time I come see my sister she is very pleasant and tends to my every need glad you all have someone like her on your team.!
Gabby is great! 5 star m service when she’s monitoring the front desk.
UPDATE:The management team of Rhode Island Row is phenomenal. While I had concerns regarding the readiness of my apartment (see below), they reached out immediately and all my issues were fixed within 48 hours. I could not ask for better service. I am truly in LOVE with the apartment, the management team, and the community as a whole. It was definitely worth the move. Shoutout to Samuel, Rachel, Desmond (property manager), Gabby, and Zack. You guys are the bomb.com! I am happy to change my original rating.___First, let me say that I do love my apartment! Its spacious, light-filled and I have no complaints in regards to amenities or my neighbors. Samuel proved to be an excellent guide when I toured the complex and I decided to rent immediately. I also interacted with Rachel the day of my move-in due to a hiccup in my freight elevator reservation and she was a delight as well. All in all, the community is nice and Im glad I found it.I moved in less than a week ago but it appears my apartment wasnt ready for me. So far, Ive put in 3 maintenance requests:1. The sliding door to my Juliet balcony does not work. I was told a part needed to be fixed for it.2. My garbage disposal does not work.3. My water runs cold after about 5 minsIm hoping that these issues can be addressed soon because I still love the community as a whole and I hope to live out the entire lease here. My advice to anyone renting is to make sure you test the water temperature and appliances. I wouldnt have minded waiting a little longer if it meant those things would have been ready upon my move-in.
Gabby is an amazing conceige. Her customer service skills are amazing 🤩 Keep it up girl
Where did RIR find Gabby!? She’s amazing!!! Please keep her here! Amazing customer service!!!
I viewed the property and met with Sam. The property was beautiful and Sams customer service was GREAT!
I called to inquire about a 2 bedroom apartment and the concierge who answered the phone named gabby was very pleasant. She transferred me to the rental office but no one answered I called back and instead of her transferring me again she answered a few questions I had, she even knew a lot about the area.
My friend and I toured Rhode Island Row and it was amazing. Sam was the best!
I really enjoyed looking around this community, even if only virtually due to covid. Luis was very warm and welcoming. Hope to live here one day!
The staff here are amazing, the amenities and apartments are impeccable, and I could not ask for more from a living community. Well managed, great location, at an affordable price. I would highly recommend living here.
During this pandemic I was looking around apartments and I checked this location out. What stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. I have health issues and had concerns aboutMoving into a crowded place, Louis treated me with such sincerity and care I was moved. It is hard to find such heart these days. I didn’t end up moving but would recommend this place to anyone looking!!!
I’m new to the complex and it’s been phenomenal experience thus far. Shout out to my leasing agent Angela, Rachael (Executive Concierge), and Gabby (Night Concierge) who all are super exceptional and made the transition smooth.
Gabby is a excellent concierge worker, she gives everyone the same attention and kind to everyone she comes in contact with. Just a excellent worker around the board!!!
Gabby has been a wonderful concierge here at Rhode Island Row! She’s efficient , polite and very attentive ! She’s really made my experience here at Rhode Island Row great !
I had a great experience at Rhode Island Row. The service you receive usually is determined by the staff. Gabby was a great addition as a concierge and is always looking out for each person in the building.
Gabby is the best!! The sweetest lady at the front desk!
Rhode Island Row is a top tier community. The leasing staff is extremely helpful and attentive. I would most definitely recommend this property.
Had a tour of the property with Sam and it exceeded expectations! Great customer service provided by him.
Met with leasing agent Samuel Ricketts. Super friendly and helpful during my tour at Rhode Island Row. Would absolutely recommend!
My partner and I have lived at Rhode Island Row for several years. We have been impressed with the best-of-market rates, how responsive maintenance is (when you submit a request through the portal), and the friendliness of the staff.Special shoutout to Luis, one of the leasing agents, who has an extraordinary ability to problem solve and address concerns so that all are happy. Thanks, Luis!
Gabby is amazingly great! She did awesome training me.
I love the staff, they listen to you and fix any problems you have. Sam has been very helpful all the time.
Had a great experience with the staff here! Luis was very knowledgeable about the property/amenities and he also took great precaution and care during Covid which I really appreciate.
I was looking around many different apartments to see what was good for me and my family and I was very happy with the service I received from a gentleman by the name of Louis. Lots of cool restaurants near the apartments!
I was very pleased with the staff at Rhode Island Row! Luis was very attentive to my many, many questions! Very spacious apartments!
I just wanna say, keep gabby! She’s great!
I love my apartment and the area. I just dont like the inconsistency with staff. Leasing office does eventually try to make things right, but its a chore.
Lewis the GOAT. During this trying time, he made sure he was available for a virtual tour. He answered all my questions, and was able to assist me in whatever I had needed. Definitely was a great help! Cant wait to be apart of the community!
I love how convenient everything is, super nice food places, shoutout to Lewis for being so kind and helpful :)
Great customer service from Louis who was very patient and informative. Im new to the Washington DC area and I had almost a million questions that were all answered.
Recently moved in to the Rhode Island Row and I have to say it has gone above my expectations. The area it is in is set up to have all the amenities you need either right outside your door or right across the street. While the actual apartments are spacious, modern, and sleek. Plus, having a parking garage that attaches to the apartments so you can go straight to your floor from the garage is a huge luxury to have especially when you are dragging groceries. Also the move in process was made easy by Luis who really answered any and all questions I had prior to moving in and trust me when I said I had a lot of questions. If their is any complaints I would have that knocks this from a 5 to a 4/4.5 it would be the windows seem to be single pane since I can hear conversations going on outside my window and I live on the 4th floor. The other complaint would be the gym size is definitely small and lacks free weights so just be aware of that but does have extensive amount of cardio machines. Outside of this I dont have any complaints the convenience of being right next to a bike path and train station so I can go anywhere in the city adds a lot of value to this location as well. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to move to DC area.
The building is mostly great, it’s a good value and the location is great. Our new unit has a balcony and is affordable so it’s a great place to live. The units are also bigger than a lot of the other new construction but it is still a new unit with good amenities. I just renewed my lease and do not plan on leaving.
All the staff have been great, but Alonzo and Ciara have made me feel super welcome! They go the extra mile to be consistent, precise and efficient. Always a pleasure to work with.
This review is based off of my experience with Alonzo Morton. Ive lived at Rhode Island Row for almost a year now and the last six months have honestly been the best six months of me living here! The overall community is very well kept but if Ive ever had issues where something needed to be fixed or cleaned up Alonzo made sure to get it done within the day! I live in a corner unit and the door towards the stairs slams all the time, I was shocked he made sure maintenance installed a spring on the door to stop it from slamming. One day I had a cricket in my apartment, literally the next Tuesday maintenance came to do pest control, and I never saw another bug again. If I wasnt going to NYU I would literally stay here for years because Alonzo has been nothing but professional and honest. Lastly, I had issues with the online system and paying my rent, he made it so easy for me to just pay in person (not getting charged the online fee) and credited it to my account with no issues. A few days later he followed up to confirm with me that I didnt owe any utility fees. Also, this is a great location if youre a law or medical student, they have a computer room and conference room that you can reserve to study, and you can print your class work for FREE!! Sometimes they have random community events and the food is pretty good! If you deal with Alonzo, this guy will literally answer all of your questions and deal with your concerns, Ive never had to follow up with him, HE FOLLOWS UP WITH ME! Other great things here are the proximity to the metro, restaurants (we get 10% off), and giant! One con, the windows are too thin, you can hear a persons conversation outside (get thick curtains)! The girls at the front desk (Ciara and Carly) are really sweet too!
This community has a really nice atmosphere! The amenities are top notch and the customer service is exceptional! They really care at Rhode Island Row and that makes all the difference in where you live!
Awesome prices, cool staff
It was nice living there, but as the years went on things just got bad. Broken doors giving access to anyone into the building, people would smoke weed in the stairway, the fake security guard wouldnt do anything significant to protect the residents, cars in the garage were being broken into. All these things compromised my safety as a resident.
I’ve lived here for 3 years now and it was a rocky start. However, things have improved with the new staff. I enjoy the location and the convenience of having the metro right next door and having direct access to the MBT. I love all the events the retailers put on like bourbon BBQ and Blues and the Christmas Tree Lighting. There also some great resident events too like the holiday party and sip and paints so you can meet the staff and neighbors. For the most part the neighbors are friendly and respectful of the space. I wish there was a way to monitor whose guests enter the residential elevator near the CVS, because the 2350 building doesn’t have a 24 hour concierge. Also the elevators run very slowly. The gym could use an upgrade but it’s still great. Other than that I love living here.
Spacious apartment with lots of storage space. Amenities are great. Staff was very helpful in helping me transition from NYC to the DC area
Gabby and Angela are awesome
Staff from the leasing office was friendly and accommodating. Luis was especially helpful.
Gabby is an amazing concierge!
Moved here a few months ago, and am glad I made the decision. Initially, there were a few challenging moments, but the management team (that was transitioning at the time) quickly resolved the issues. They are really big on community involvement and there are a lot of great events. Plus, the metro station (Rhode Island) is literally right next door.So it really is the perfect location for people who are only looking to stay in D.C. for a short period of time. Most importantly, the concierge team is amazing. There is one guy, Richard, who is literally the go to guy. He is always sure to resolve any issues that you have, regardless of the time. There is someone at the desk 24hrs a day. It adds that special touch. Overall, RIR is a great place to live, especially for new comers to the city.
I just moved here, & the application process was easy, the move in was easy, & the building is perfect :). Soo many stores around. Mind you im from DC Born & raised so its good to see how far DC has come. Thanks to Angela for helping me with everything, she’s great.
Tried to inquire about an apartment and before I could even finish the man answering the phone cut me off and hung up on me. Very rude!!!
My family and I lived there for 3 years and enjoyed the conveinence of the on-site retail, restaurants, and Metro. The staff were top notch especially the maintaence department. We have moved out of the district but look back fondly at our time there.Ken
Ive been living here for 2 years now and have had my share of ups and downs. Never the less their friendly and responsive staff understands the needs and concerns of their residents in a fluid and natural way. It makes you truly feel at home and swiftly welcomed.
Currently living here and staff member Justin, who I believe is a manager was EXTREMELY RUDE to my sister after the rent payment wasnt made (A mistake on Rhode Island and Conservice end of course). Im planning on moving as soon as my lease is up to an apartment complex that doesnt have a rude staff unless they do decide to change their ways! I wont even begin to tell you the amount of problems we had moving in the first month here but trust me there were a lot and based on my rent, things should go a lot smoothly. Only plus of living here is the location to the metro other than that, choose wisely about living here.
The maintenance services are amazing. Bruce always resolves the problem in a swift and pleasant manner. He also provides information on how to prevent the problem from happening again. Excellent customer service.
Make sure you buy ear plugs if you plan on living here!!!! Im writing this review at 2:30 am after being woken up by the fire alarm system. Wish I could say this was the first time this has happened but Ive lived here for 5 months now and this is about the 5th or 6th time this has happened. When I call to ask the front desk if we need to evacuate they have no idea whats going on. If there is ever an actual fire here Im pretty sure wed all be screwed because I literally just put my ear plugs in and lay in bed.
Customer service is just one of the many skills the staff lacks here
Parking sucks but dunkin donuts worth it
Great location and very spacious apartments. Ive enjoyed the convience, security and amenities this building provides. This is coming from someone with a child and weve never felt unsafe and wevw enjoyed our home here since moving to D.C.!
During my time as a resident I have experienced the following:- Concierge staff unlocking my door to allow people into my residence without my consent not once but TWICE. To this day my unit is the only one with a dead bolt top lock installed for that reason.-For at least a year a external door was broken it was either unlocked or locked and the key fob would not allow residents into the building.- 2 years of AC issues. Going without air for 4 months in the summer. I still have the portable AC unit when I was restricted to one room in my apartment.- Lost/mishandled packages-2 years of astronomical water bills due to the property management’s negligence. My Bill went from approximately $25 per month to $80 per month. I complained and was told the cost of water went up. Only to learn the meter in my unit was broken and the seal in the tank of the commode was worn causing a leak.-Pet owners are allowed to use entry ways, side walks, flower beds and the parking garage to walk and relieve pets. I have had to step over urine and feces.-The elevators constantly go out, sometimes for days at a time. People have gotten stuck in the elevators. Most recently-A April rent overpayment resulted in the need for a credit to be issued. I was informed by Desmond Cross - Asst Manager he would issue a credit to my account. May invoice (no credit), June invoice (no credit), July invoice (no credit). Each month I remitted my rent payment along with a note to correct my account. Not only was no credit issued but the outstanding amount continue to increase above and beyond my monthly rent. On June 24th I called the office to report my hot water was out (a ongoing issue where a part STILL needs to be replaced). Because Brian Belsky-Property General Manager answered I mentioned my account. Brian stated Desmond was out but upon his return he would follow up with me. I never heard back from Brian Belsky as he promised. I received a “non payment email” on July 19th for July’s rent I called the office immediately. Once again Brian answered, once again Desmond was out of the office and apparently operations depend on his presence. Brian told me that there was a “non payment” of June’s rent. I corrected him that I remit my rent payment every month so it is not a non payment issue. Perhaps you lost or misplaced my payment. I offered to call my bank to see if the check cleared. I asked if he could let me know something before close of business because this has been a ongoing issue and I didn’t want to go into the weekend with the issue outstanding...that’s when Brian informed me that he was off at 4pm and it is now 4:15pm. Brian committed to follow up with Desmond and call me on Monday. On Monday Brian did not call, rather after 4pm I received a email indicating “non payment” of June’s rent and a erroneous account ledger. AGAIN I called the office , when I spoke to Brian he had a attitude. He became irritated that I questioned his email and why he continued to use the term non payment when I had already advised him that I remitted payment. Each time I spoke He would yell over me. I ask that he not be rude, disrespectful ...he has had months to correct this issue and has failed miserably and the very least he can do is allow me to complete a sentence without yelling over me. He continued to be unprofessional and nasty at one point he stated “I didn’t loose your payment, YOU DIDN’T GIVE IT TO ME!I escalated to Tom and Toby Bozzuto and Lucretia Kumah to inform than I would not be interacting with Brian Belsky going forward as I found his conduct not only unprofessional but discriminatory based on his tone, attitude and comments. I got no response, instead I receive a warning letter from a law firm of violation of my lease. Well needless to say I have not violated my lease. This was a malicious act of retaliation and a intimidation tactic.I will be exhausting my legal recourse on this matter as I have done nothing but live here, pay my rent on time and expect Bozzuto to live up to their contractual responsibility.
Welcome to Mr. Zach Allen, Lead Maintenance Team,. Zach is very professional, nice, knowledgeable, responsive, cooperative and best of all he is able to fix the problem. Zach is an amazing Team Lead and he deserves to be recognized.
Poor customer service skills from staff here
