The rooms were really nice and clean and comfortable and overall especially the dining area was amazing. The staffs were really cooperative and helpful. Amazing place to stay.

To be very precise, the hotel solves your purpose of stay as well as provides an excellent view to the Ganga Aarti happening in the dhashashwamedh ghat. Located right over the dashashwamedh ghat, has pretty decent rooms. The major setbacks are,1. the rooms are very small with almost no space to store luggage.2. most of the rooms either do not have a window or the window opening to some kind of a duct.3.The staircase is very steep and it is definitely not advisable for the aged to go for this accomodation.4. There were regular power cuts and there was no power for the entire night we stayed there but we still tried to manage because the weather was good.5. I suggest to eat from the nearby areas as the the menu offers very less number of items and the items seemed to be a bit overpriced.6. vehicles are not allowed in the street where the hotel is located since it is a highly congested Street. So you might have to get down at girijaghar and walk till the hotel which is around 300 to 400 metres from there. this cannot really be helped by the hotel people because of its prominent location.Positives:1. located right above the dashashwamedh ghat making it easy to view Ganga Aarti, you can almost reach all the ghats, temples and major streets by walking.2. the street and the ghats nearby looks very safe even in the midnight and you can take a walk around freely.3. the manager of the hotel staff are friendly in of to assist you and help you in Planning your itinerary there.4. the rooftop area is excellent. I would suggest spending a lot of time in the rooftop area than in your room.overall a good stay and pleasant experience. if the bed and linen could be cleaned regularly that would add up to a beautiful experience.

The only best advantage is that you wouldnt have to go a bit far to see the Ganga Aarti otherwise the entry and the room are so sufasticated and small. Even the care taker or owner does not seem to feel with taking Indian people though he is also an Indian. The room is which I stayed was very small, bedsheet was not clean, pillow cover were torn, water taps in bathroom were damaged. Not a good experience..... And the best part of someone is new to varanasi then finding this place will be meracle...

After having originally opted for the basic deluxe double room., we found this to be small and so were shown the super room.This was clean, spacious and cosy. The hot water and shower worked well and tooth paste was supplied after asking. The location is incredible for the price....entering the hotel will require a lot of hiking up narrow steel stair ways... but once you arrive you are right by the river for the evenings arti celebrations. It is about a 45 minute walk to a boat hire service. A 10 minute walk to the nearest road access so arrival during the day is advised. The owner is personable. funny and knoweldgable about local services. An incredible amount of work is done by Vishal who cooks amazing food. cleans and generally takes care of everything.

Perfect location at dashashwmegh ghat.Only challenge is tooooo many narrow stairs, and lack of cross air ventilation. Its good of non-summer season however during summer any non-ac room in this vertical all side open tall building is NO NO.Being on that one can enjoy Ganga arti straight from roof top...even morning Ganga bath or meditation etc can be done with ease..Good point during winter...go for it

The hotel is not at all recommended for the elderly person or for the persons who have got some knee problems (viz. arthritis etc.). The staircase is having more than 45 degree inclenation. Room is occupied basically by the cot. There is no space to move. The approach to the hotel is very narrow and no auto or car may come. A minimum of one and half kilometer yor to walk to reach the hotel. Food not good.

Its a good hotel but the room that was provided to me was small & was not at all spacious & this is the only drawback I faced over here & later even it was sorted out as the manager allotted us a different room later on. The behavior of manager & the other staffs over there was very good & their services were fab too. We had nice time staying here.

The best part of the hotel is it is opposite to main ghat. the owner of the hotel was very friendly & gave good suggestions about travelling in kashi. room was cleaned & shared bathroom was also cleaned. there is lot of scope in improving services like there is no one at the inquiry counter at any time of the day. we had lots of luggage no one came for carrying the luggage till the room as it was on the top floor. i would not suggest food here as it was not value for money.

Horrible place, we have been very uncomfortable.Pros:1. The waiters in the rooftop bar where very friendly and polite.2. Location: The location is perfect if you want to assist to Ganga Puja ceremony as is just there. You can even see it from the rooftop.Cons:1. They said our room had a bathroom problem so they offered another one with no private bathroom that we wanted.2. They lied because when pressured to see our room they told us that it wasnt a toilet problem, was that they rented it to someone else.3. Dirtiness: This place was a next level of dirtiness. Even the walls where covered by a brown layer of dirt. At least, the plates and cutlery where clean but the lining and pillows where covered in stains, we sleeped over our sleeping bags. The bedside table had a layer of sticky filth that sticked to my passport.4. Bathroom. Had only one bulb so we had the sensation of entering a cave. Of course, was dirty. The seat of the toilet was screwed to an Iron hinge wider than the plastic so when sitting on it it touches your arse. The sink was unscrewed and loose from the wall and it almost falled on my toes.5. Stairs: The stairs are like a rollercoaster, very high steps and a lot of them, turning and climbing the building. Not recommended for elders or people with any mobility issue.6. Air conditioning: No air conditioning plus a very hot and humid weather makes this place a living hell.7. Decoration: The decoration looks like they had one style but, when renovating something, they used another different style. The stacked random decorative elements mixed with layers of dirtiness was simply disgusting.8. Privacy: There was a window heading the corridor. The glass was translucent but not enough so anyone could see us from the other side. We used one of the dirty blankets to blind it.

Great location right on the ganges. Friendly staff. Does require a level of fitness as it is at the end of a walking street and the hotel had many steps. We had booked and paid in advance, they kept trying to get us to pay extra for our room since it was a bigger room than we booked.

MOST UNPEACEFUL EXPERIENCE. We spend 2 nights in the hotel fighting for the wifi which didnt work in any area of the hotel, plus the air conditioner wasnt working as well. There where 42° degrees outside and inside of the room. The wifi didnt work just beacuse of the simply reason that the owner didnt want to give the password to his employees. So we just had internet when he was at the hotel, 5 mins a day internet.We do not recommend this place even being in one of the best spots of Varanasi.

Due to flood almost each and every GHAT in the area is underwater so the entrance of the Hotel was underwater too otherwise the hotel is at the best location, if you are booking an AC room do not open the window ( big rats were there)

Location is awesome, cleanliness is good however too much to climb on stairs. not fit for family with children n seniors however good to go for youth.I faced serious issue of extension inspite of promise that no issues for next 3 days but apologies that at last minute things changed n I asked to vacate. so always...be cautious.I have shifted to different stay facility

Experience of this hotel is not only poor, this is totally worst.rooms condition are like a Dharamshala, broken walls, patches, dirty wash room,small cockroaches. Manage behaviour is very very poor as already mentioned by many people who had experience of this hotel. i will not repeat mistake of booking this hotel and will never suggest to anyone.

There are no fresh air in the room. Room and bathrooms are fully packed and people suffering with air suffocation. Try to find room with Windows or AC.

Cold reheated Paneer Butter Masala in an overpriced rooftop restaurant. Disappointed about spending twice for a dish that I didn’t enjoy at all. Chapati seemed reheated and industrial. :(

The site is very good. Its like a little oasis in the middle of all the chaos. The man was very kind although he didnt have much idea of ​​books. There were original leather notebooks of recycled paper for 200 rupees. Recommendations to go.

The staff were very kind and a lovely smile that blew awayThe room was so beautiful that I could spend the night feeling calmly looking at the room on the Ganges from the small window and it was so nice that I wanted to stay in the room all day!I was moved by going to the Ganges river in the morning, watching Puja, watching the sunrise, and I was moved!The view from the rooftop is also a good event at an Indian instrument? The owner changed, and all the rooms were renovated, making it a clean and comfortable stay. I was impressed by the hospitality of the staff who can actively fulfill the request. Even for the request to listen to Indian music, we invited a performer on the roof to hold a concert.The food was delicious and the stay was very satisfying.
