Location is very good! Only 600 metres from Dashashvmedh ghat. They provides basement parking. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Location wise price range is also moderate. Great hospitality and ambience. Very well maintained. Both veg and non veg foods are available and quality is also very good.

Located in close proximity to Kasi Vishwanath temple and the ghats. Food is expensive. However staff are courteous and helpful. Nearby there are many eateries which can keep your stomach full.As soon as you step out of hotel anytime of day or night, you can see the surroundings with full of traffic and honking.

At the heart of the city near the temple itself...Although the street is crowded but the hotel provides for being near to market place and ghat if u want to stay in a better property...Staff was good and food was tasty...if roaming Varanasi is your motto you can stay in other places where u get less crowd...

Our recent stay at Hotel Ganges Grand was great and peaceful, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel for three nights and four days . The famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple is in walking from the hotel . The hotel is located in the centre of the city and very near to the Ganges river . The whole staffs , especially the Restaurant and the House keeping departments are very nice, helpful and courteous !! In future also we would like to avail the hospitality of the hotel. Worst ever place, avoid to check in.harassment in check in, detained for couple of hours at reception, no direct access by car, receptionist should be nominated as top rude person in hospitality sector having no sense of courtesy. hotel is not proper clean and quite unhygienic place you may feel it when you enter in same property.washroom is full with bad smell ,bed linens were full of spots with fedded red and this is sufficient to count your night in bad smell and mosquitoes wholely second name of torture is Ganges Grand

Mostly crowded and fully booked so advance booking is recommended.

I stayed here during my visit to Banaras, had amazing🤠 fun, all the staff were very friendly and the Bamboo 🍗Biryani and Mutton 🍛Handi of the hotel was very wonderfu🥰l.The hotel is situated in a very good place, from here you can easily go to Banaras Hindu University or Rail Engine Factory and if you want a taxi you can get to the hotel.If you are coming to Benaras then I would advise you to stay at this hotel only.

Hotel Ganges Grand is popular among the visitors visiting the Holy Kaashi. Its situated in Front Of Marwari Hospital Building, at D-37/47 Godowlia Crossing, Dashashwamedh Ghat Rd, Harha, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Kaashi Vishwanath Mandir, Dashashwamedh Ghat, etc are at walkable distance. Its a nice well maintained and good hotel. Rooms are good, toilets are hygienic amenities and facilities are good, housekeeping and room service are excellent. Restaurant is good you may have continental and all kinds of vegetarian food.

One of the most sacred places on the earth

I just completed a 5 day stay at Hotel Ganges Grand in Varanasi. The last time I had stayed at the Radisson, but concluded that these cantonment hotels (though nice) are located too far from the ghats (especially given how crazy the traffic is) - it was thus a pain to go to the ghats multiple times a day. This time around I decided to stay near the ghats so that I could step out whenever I wanted. The issue was that there are very few decent hotels in that area.I am pleased to say that Ganges Grand is well above average, with simple, but nice rooms, good breakfast and great staff. I had no issues with check-in, the room was simple, but functional (air-con worked fine and the bathroom had hot water). The only issue (minor for me) was very slow wi-fi network (which didnt work most of the time I was there). I had to use my cell phones data plan to access the internet.The icing on the cake was the location - this hotel is conveniently located near Dashashwamedh Ghat and the temples - it was wonderful. I would take a short rickshaw ride, every morning at 5 AM to Assi Ghat, for the morning aarti and yoga, then walk the 2 kilometers back to the hotel via all the ghats, photographing this wonderful city on the way back. I also highly recommend having breakfast at Aadha-Aadha Cafe and lunch at Niyati Cafe near the ghat - very good food.All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again when I head back to Varanasi - hopefully soon as I really like this city.

I was hotel ganges grand on 13th Feb. hotel location is very nice as all tempals,ghats,shoping area,tasty food spots very near to this hotel. House keeping and restaurent is also good. But dont take any service from travel desk because they takes double rate from tourist. Its better to take taxi from outside travel desk very near 2 miniuts away from hotel. Dont get boat ride from hotel travel desk tyey get three times more money so direct go to ghat you can get seprate boat in 500 rs only

Absolutely wonderful experience! Would take 10 stars if I could.The ambience of the entire hotel is amazing! The floors are carpeted. The rooms are absolutely great - air conditioned, great lighting, premium beds, HD TV with HD channels! WiFi is also available (although the speed was a bit slow - around 1 Mbps).Very courteous staff! Mr. Rajeshwar, at the reception, was especially helpful! He answered all our questions about the area and how to reach different places in Varanasi. He even helped us find stored to shop at. This really amplified the already great experience at the ganges grand.Overall, HIGHLY recommended hotel! Would definitely visit again!

We recently visited Varanasi from Boston, USA and stayed in the Hotel Ganges. We were 8 of us and got 3 rooms there. All the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The hotel is in a very convenient location. Moreover, the hotel has a good restaurant within, which is pretty convenient. Also, I must mention that, the hotel staff is very warm and respectful, especially the person Rohit Sharma. VERY NICE Hotel Ganges Grand In VARANASI.

The location is very good. its walking distance from Dashashwamedh ghat where the Ganga arti takes place and the Kashi Vishvanath temple. Car parking could be an issue as its right in the traffic zone area. Room was clean, spacious.... took a superior room.Bedsheets and towels too were clean n freshit was very hot, but the AC was working properly. Hot water for bath is available only in the morning , thats why one star lessThe breakfast was quite ok overall a good and safe place to stay.

Hotel is decent but staff is not really bothered about the guests. They seem to think that they are in a prime location and can get away with rude behavior.

We stayed at this hotel for a week, it is located within walking distance of Dashashwamedh Ghat and Shri Vishwanath Temple.Room, Location was very good as it gave us a chance to relax after a morning visit to the ghat or visiting a temple. Room is neat and clean with a large window. Good restaurant on site with variety of food for non indian as well. Manager Raunak was very helpful and gave us useful tips to get around.
