We went there everyday day during our week long stay in Varanasi after we got lucky to randomly stumble upon it. Food was delicious and it offered even some stuff we started craving after a month in India. Apple pie, cheese cake, chocolate cake satisfied our sweet tooth cravings and espresso shots took care of caffeine habit and were great as not many places we found were offering decent coffee. Good choice, friendly staff and beautiful interior. We will be back for more.

A beautiful cafe overlooking the river with some excellent quality food. The staff are very helpful and welcoming.There are a lot of fans so you have a very cooling breeze at the top. The whole cafe is enclosed so you can see the monkeys who come to visit but they cant get into the building.The food is delicious and very large portions for a very low price. We came two days in a row.What is there not to love about this cafe?

Cosy place with lot of books to spend time, they also rent the books for INR20 per day.The cafe is at top floor of a guest house and you get a view of the Ganges from top.This cafe is a good option for vegans as they have multiple options for vegan diet.The food is also good (not excellent though) and was reasonably priced.You will have to search for the place as its inside small streets of the ghats but you can find it easily.. prefer asking locals.

I visited Varanasi for a few days and was staying near Dashashwamedh Ghat. I came across Aadha-aadha cafes listing on google maps and decided to check it out. It is a little tricky to get to this location, but google maps can lead you right to it. The decor is wonderful and the staff are just great. I ordered the Full English Breakfast and it was super satisfying. So much so, that I had breakfast at this restaurant every day of my stay in Varanasi. I highly recommend this place for its ambience, excellent food and great service.

Amazing, the whole concept of Aadha aadha,The french and indian union...Food is amazing, so is the service. Best place to eat around ghats. A bit difficult to find this place but worth it.And the view of Ganga is just cherry on the cake.A must visit if you are visiting Dashashwamedha area.

Simple Indian and Chinese menu, but the taste and preparation is too good! And yes there’s this vibe in the ambience owing to the aadha-aadha story of Emi and Raju. Great hosts, best ginger honey tea, beautiful Ganges view too! Slightly hard to find though.

Its a steep hike up to the rooftop here, you remove your shoes when you enter and I grabbed a seat at the railing with a view of the ganges. The place is wrapped in a metal cage to keep the monkeys out but it obstructs the partial view of the river. I had the chicken butter masala, plain rice and a beer. Im not an Indian food expert but found this dish rather bland. Perhaps its meant to be... the portion was large and ended up being my meal for the day outside of a lassi. Its a nice reading nook, quite and perhaps if I was staying here, I would have loved it more. Great spot if you have a sweet tooth as they have an extensive menu.

Best Café/restaurant in VaranasiI spend 4 days in Varanasi and visited this restaurant every day. Its super comfy, with very friendly owners and waiters. I loved their Indian food especially the cheese naan and the butter panneer masala. Everything is very clean and they create a super welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. The owners are so helpful...they provided a lot of recommendations for Varanasi and helped out with booking a new train ticket. Would love to visit the Aadah-Aadah-Cafe again :) thanks for everything!

We came here for dinner and breakkie and the food is amazing!! Had the Veg Curry which was the best I’ve had so far in India (and had a lot...) and even the Tomatoe Soup was super tasty. Love the decor, feels very clean and the portions are huge which is a massive bonus. The staff are really friendly too. Come here!!

I really enjoyed the concept of this cafe and the good causes that are run and promoted. We had a nice meal and did exactly as the cafe name suggests, 50-50 some Indian food and some French. Would definitely come back again. We didn’t try it but the breakfast menu looked really nice too.

It’s no surprise this is the number 1 restaurant in varanasi on trip advisor! The food is delicious, definitely get a vegan breakfast even if you’re not vegan! And the staff are so great you’ll want to hang out there with them all day - the French guy with long hair is more like an old friend than a waiter! The restaurant itself is very comfy, has a great feel and atmosphere - also incredible views of the Ganges! The WiFi makes it a nice spot to work from too. Hopefully we’ll make it back there again one day soon

Lovely quiet place with super tasty food and very friendly staff. Love to go there! They also have a small library! Dont forget to taste their deserts (especially the ones with the Belgian chocolat).

I was really expecting something great looking at the reviews and google rating. The restaurant is clean and the service is very good. The food however is as average as it comes. We ordered 2 types of naan and aloo palak, both flavorless and lacked anything desirable. The most mediocre indian food Ive had in 3 weeks on india. The veg pakora was respectable. If you are looking for amazing food, I wouldnt get your hopes up here. Good staff and ambiance but a 4.7 star rating is totally ridiculous.

Aadha-Aadha Cafe is just the best .... Emi and Raju are the best! I stayed at the hostel for nearly a month so this place was like home to me, a little sanctuary amidst the hustle and bustle of Varanasi ... a treat to get real yummy coffee, the desserts are AMAZING, the Indian food is delicious, the view of the Ganga is great. I loved taking a chai up to the rooftop for sunset....but really Emi and Raju are what make this place the sweetest and will take such good care of you! Emi draws the best maps and they will help you find whatever you are looking for in the wonderland of Varanasi. Thank you so much for your friendship and impeccable service - I miss you!!

Very friendly proprietor. I had a tasty ginger drink. Lovely, breezy space with a Ganga view. Very clean. Didnt have the food, but I didnt see any French pastries in the pastry case. WiFi was not working when I visited. Id go again in a different season when theyre set up to accommodate more people.

Aadha-Aadha Cafe quickly became my home away from home while staying in Varanasi. Emily, Raju and the entire staff were so warm, friendly, and accommodating. By the end of our trip I truly felt like I had made some wonderful new friends - I was sad to leave. The cafe itself is adorable and has a beautiful view of the Ganges River. The food was comforting, fresh, and delicious!

We visited here in the off season because our hotels kitchen next door was closed. Emi was accommodating and gave is good insight and advice for our trip. She even recommended a trusted travel agent to book us a bus to the Nepali border. We had the Indian breakfast set, basic aloo paratha with a side of curd. Delicious food and clean facilities. Wish we had more time to try the repudiated french cakes that are made on site. For sure will return if I find myself in Varanasi again.

The best chai, pancakes and thali in Varanasi. Emi and Raju are the most welcoming hosts we have met in India. A wonderful view of the great Ganges. Very clean. We will miss being here.

Very nicely decorated! The two owners are very warm and lovable. They support disadvantaged children with their proceeds, and have organized a school of their own! The cafes offer is more European, but we went there several times to support the couple and their great concept. Hopefully business will continue and the two nice people can do even more good!

The gourmet restaurant without mines, the focus is on the boss and couple are super friendly and enthusiastic.The dining environment is also very clean, so you can rest assured that you can eat well. It is very suitable for your family.

A true paradise in the midst of hell ..: they hadnt eaten for days and days only a few packets of chips and Coca-Cola, here we finally found some hygienically prepared and very good food ... The host is a French girl so the sense European cleaning is assured.

You can go there with your eyes closed. The dishes are delicious and not too spicy. Its nice to be able to eat pancakes and a fruit salad without risking being sick. In addition, hygiene is irreproachable!

I stayed at BABA Guest House and used it. The owner is a cheerful and kind person! When my friend had a stomachache, he took care of me and the owner made it for me and I was able to recover by cooking. The food is very delicious! The omlet and chai I ate for breakfast were especially delicious. You can eat delicious rice on a clean rooftop 🍛☕️🍰
