Very good place for breakfast, coffee, or just chilling. Warm, peaceful atmosphere with cosy furniture, beautiful decoration and soft music. Food is good, with some nice Korean dishes additionally to Indian food and all sorts of breakfast, but you can wait for a while after ordering. Nice and friendly staff.

Average food (we had Indian dishes) in a really nice setting (the terrace is a great observational spot). Lots of better tastier food options in the neighborhood.

After six weeks of india without any problems this is the only place that gave me an upset stomach! My night was horrible and ruins my stay in Varanasi. It may look clean, but obviously it isn’t even if it was one of the most expensive meals i had in Varanasi.And yes, I’m sure it came from this place. I only had toast in the morning. Careful!

Three times here due to it’s location. First meal took a while but tasted ok. Second time we just ordered two drinks - a coke and a bottle of water. Waited over 20 minutes before asking again. The coke arrived but the water didn’t. Asked a third time before it was brought to the table. Quicker to walk to any local shop and buy a bottle! Third time we went for dessert. After waiting 30 minutes for it to arrive, they informed us they don’t have it right now. The cafe wasn’t very busy so there’s no excuse for such slow service. Even slower than usual Indian service. Unless you have a few hours, I wouldn’t recommend.

This is a very nice café with a relaxing inside space and also seats outside facing the street. Its very laid back and was always busy which is a good sign! Service was pretty good and although we only had drinks and snacks, it was all very nice.

We found this place getting lost in Bengali Tola, and had breakfast a couple of times. We fell in love with their veg chowmein, the best weve tried so far! Nice rice pudding and black coffee as well.

The cafe is really cozy and has great inexpensive coffee. Food wasn’t amazing. The owner is so kind and even let me borrow his phone to sort out an issue I was having. Love this place!

My favourite here: Jabchae, the Korean glass noodles dish..The perfect restaurant in Benares. Although it’s an amazing Korean restaurant but serves good food across all cuisines. Location and ambience are just too good! Very comfortable low seating apt for relaxing and chatting with good company.Food especially Korean is amazing, just ask the manager to help you out with dishes and go with his suggestions!

Good rooms, good service and delicious food. but closing gates at around 10pm. Also, you better check the bill before paying.

Delicious international food and drinks served by a super friendly family. The environment is warm and inviting. A great place to spend some time and chat with other tourists.

Food is delicious, prices are reasonable and the staff is kind and efficient and the wifi works properly. They use filtered water for everything. It’s a safe place to eat a good meal.

The kimchee didnt taste like it was fermented at all. Which makes about half the menu bad.Edit: I added one star because I went back and the so called kimchee was a new batch.

My fiancé and I ordered two dishes. His cane out first and we waited over a half hour for my dish. Luckily he ordered a salad so his food didn’t get cold while we waited. Other people who sat down after us were served. When I asked about my order, the server cut me off mid sentence and walked away. Then 15 minutes later someone came over and asked what I ordered. We waited over an hour. Won’t come back.

Its a very cool and relax place, the staff its very helpful, they are clean and fast whit the food, and is very comfortable atmosphere. A breath in the Varanasi chaos. The ginger tea is amazing and they also have food continental and corean.

We visited Bona Restaurant twice. Unfortunately we don’t like it since the food is not good and the price is higher than the other restaurant. If you want to have some good breakfast or Korean food, you can go Mona Cafe not Bona restaurant.

Good cafe, lots of both Korean and Indian dishes. My egg curry was very nice. Lassi, not the best. WiFi didnt work. But excellent atmosphere & attractive decorations, probably the best Ive seen in Varanasi on that point.

The place has really good vibes ! Its a very cozy cute place, well put up in narrow lanes of Varanasi ! Its a place where you can go with your friends or alone and still have a good peaceful time, it has such great positive vibe. The food is good, the taste, presentation everything is nice. But the drinks are very poor, they brought super sweet coffee smoothie, when got it changed, they brought cold black coffee, than they refused to serve it, when ordered a different drink it was again of very poor quality.A find it a little over priced, for the kind of ambience, quantity and location.

Presented to us as a nice restaurant, we felt quite disappointed. First, you have to go order by yourself. Drinks (coffee and tea) took 30 minutes to come. After one hour, the staff brings us something we didnt ordered, explaining they did a mistake. We refused and waited some more for our meal. Food was ok, but nothing special. Staff didnt talk at all. We Wanted to give them another chance with dessert but they didnt have what was shown on the menu. Maybe bad luck for us, but still not good.

Nice and cosy place amidst a bustling alley of Banaras. Korean food served here is very tasty. Free WiFi is available. Smoking is allowed in the outdoors and the staff is very amiable.

Bona Cafe in an absolute treat and I found myself here every single day in Varanasi. The atmosphere is peaceful and generally a great place to hang out. There is a good variety of Indian, Western and, surprisingly, Korean food. The paneer butter masala is delicious!

Despite so so reviews, I decided to give it a try (it has a significant cozy ambience helped by the presence of tourists).Surely food is a bit pricier side for Varanasi but seemed not horribly expensive. Around 300 ruppees per dish for Korean food. The portion was not bad, but the food was not very good. Its edible but kind of tasteless, except Kimuchi was not so bad if you could bear spice which might have been slightly influenced by the local cuisine. There seem to be a lot cheaper place around the corner and Im curious to compare the taste.Maybe better for drinks (chai, coffee etc)

Terrible service: food took 50 mins to come (other customers kindly warned us as we sat down), just a bottle of water took 30 mins, we had to remind them of our drinks orders twice and each time they reacted as if we were ordering for the first time. Inattentive and incompetent.Kimchi fried rice was alright when it came but noodles were too greasy to eat. Definitely not worth the wait.

Recommended place to eat Korean food in Varanassi especially if you already feel bored eating Indian foods everyday. Korean foods are delicious and authentic although the pricey is slightly expensive. Service was a bit slow as they seems understaffed but this has been compensated with good food.
