The interior of Bone is so cute and welcoming. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Pawsha helped us choose the right harness for our dog. I appreciate him taking the time to show us the options and match our pup with the perfect harness. The service provided was exceptional, why go anywhere else.

Super friendly staff! Although I gotta say not all of their staff are super knowledgeable about pets - which is fine, but instead of hesitantly guessing a recommendation when I ask for advice, I would have preferred if they asked a coworker who knows more on the subject, or just told me they don’t know. Other than that, really love this store. Super cute.

Was extremely impressed with how knowledgable and helpful the staff was around answering my questions and helping me make an informed decision about transitioning my chi to a new more healthy food. They had sample/ trial size options which werent even needed because my dog loved the recommendations so much!! Pasha completely won my confidence and loyalty. I was also impressed that they were open til 8pm on Sunday and that their hours of business were accurate online and current on voice message. Bones is my new pet food store! Thank you

Boutique pet store located by our apartment. Very helpful on the phone and in person. Patient and knowledge staff will take the time to answer questions. Staff even helped us get our toy poodle into a bike backpack. There is always a bowl of water outside for dogs and treats inside. Prices are slightly more than what you would pay at a big box store but honestly we called petsmart first and was put on hold for 15minutes and then we had to walk the person through the items on their website to only be out on hold again for him to check to see if they had that item.Give Bones a chance.

Great staff and wonderful service. We have been going to this location for years and the service and personal care is great. The owner is very customer focused and it is evident in the staff as well. Good selection of food, treats and apparel. Great place for you and your fur babies.

Staffs are friendly and approachable. Store is clean and very organized. Prices are a bit higher ($1- $4 more) compared to bigger chain stores but I think they are reasonable. Its def worth going. Second location on Thurlow is also great!

They have unique items for dogs. We bought the k9 sport sack here and they let you try it on with your dog to see if it fits.

Lovely little local store. They have a wonderful selection of pet toys, accessories and food. They stock some really good quality food options and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Theres options for cat food and toys as well as dog items, pet carriers and clothes. Worth a stop even to pick up a little baked good for your dog as a treat.

Story (W/ UPDATE)On June 23rd I had got my kitten - I called their store an hour before closing asking if they had a certain item on stock. They said yes I said id come right before closing if thats okay - they said they close at 8PM.I was on the way around 7:30PM when I realized i would be an extra 2-3 minutes due to the delay on the bridge coming from where I was driving from - I called them and asked if i should still come given they close and I would arrive a little after they close. i also informed them i was only buying one item and only needed to pick up the backpack so if they had it ready I could just swipe my card and get out of their way as i dont want them to wait too long.Ended up coming 8:02-8:03 and they ignored me at the front - at first I thought i had went to the wrong bones store and so I called the same store and they picked up and said you said you would come and we waited for you until 8:02 and then we closed the til.I said - guys I called you 20 minutes ago to let you know the exact time id arrive - and you know that you cant pull over at the front so i had to pull over to the right side... I felt disrespected because if you fulfill a promise and tell me you would stay open for me and the reason you decide to close and shut the store is because u waited an extra 2 minutes which i arrived at 8:03 - then next time tell me so I dont waste half an hour driving there and then another half an hour driving back.in the end Pasha called me the next day sounding extremely upset and understanding and so for that I will commend their upper management for taking these reviews so serious and prompt.UPDATE JUNE 24:I will edit the stars from 4 to 5 after completing my transactions - Id still like to give them a chance so I will be purchasing a few items from their store. pasha offered to provide free shipping and some extra treats for the inconvenience.

This is conveniently located for Yaletown residents. The store is smaller, and the product selection smaller, but the staff are attentive.

We just got a puppy and wanted to take her on hiking trips. Puppies are only good for 10-15 minute walks so what does one do? Well, get a K9 Sport Sac - it is essentially a backpack for your fur baby! Bones is one of the few stores that carry this brand. The staff is super helpful, even had me and Penny try on a couple of sizes to make sure we get to use the bag as long as we need to.I was also told that if you find the store too inconvenient to get to, they will also deliver. What a great concept, since we live on the opposite side of the GVRD. Very helpful staff in a not-so-easy to get to area of Downtown Vancouver.

Nice store with nice stuff, but had a super weird run in tonight with an employee.. came in to get a sweater, I was greeted then immediately followed by a male employee and as I looked for a sweater for my dog he just stood four feet away from me staring me down not saying anything.. didn’t ask me if I needed help or anything. Then when I left he just stared me down and said nothing. Giving one star for the extremely poor customer service I experienced tonight. As a woman a man hovering and staring at me not speaking makes me feel super uncomfortable.

I stumbled into this little pet shop while walking around waiting for my boyfriend to get off work. The shop is organized, clean, neat and very well displayed. I spent a little over half an hour in the shop and the staff member checked in on me to make sure I was ok and found everything I was looking for. Honestly, I didnt know what I was looking for, but I do know I was looking for something for my moms dog and three of the cats at home. Every got something and I there cats ended up enjoying the small pack of Fromms grain free: Game Bird Recipe! KC enjoys her rain poncho on her walk while its sprinkling.

We got our first dog (Otis) and we get literally all of our advice from the people at Bones. They are awesome. They always remember Otis when he comes in and they give us great advice on all of our pet questions!We’ve got everything we need for Otis from harnesses, leashes, crate, food, toys from Bones!

They have a great selection of dog food. The ladies were somewhat helpful other than they didnt offer my dog a treat. I even spent money there. Even if I had not have spent money they still should have offered my dog a treat they offered every other dog that came in a variety of treats. Very disappointed. I felt very uncomfortable.

We get our raw food for our boxer pup from Bones and I have to specially mention Pasha and his absolute friendliness and courteousness every time we visit the store. Sometimes we call in to ask if the food is available and he is just the same over the phone as well - helpful and polite. He genuinely seems happy to do his job. In fact everybody at the store is super helpful and super friendly. They have a good selection of toys and treat. Highly recommend!!

Amazing customer service! I walked into the store on my way by and was immediately greeted. I was asked if I needed help, and I did. I was looking for two very specific items. They showed me something, not quite right. I made a purchase and left. A couple hours later I received a text with everything I was looking for. So happy to have my shopping for Christmas done, and such a pleasant experience. Brock and morter survive on customer service, and I would much rather support this store that online purchase myself.So easy, friendly. I am 100% satisfied!Thank you!

Hands down the best Pet supply shop in Vancouver possibly the world.The owner and his team are so passionate about animals and it shows. Ever since Bones opened we have been recommending it to our pet parent friends and colleagues in Yaletown, and were not even the type of people who shop in high-end places. I really like Bones. My oldest cat has food allergies and they have a couple of options. I was going to be travelling and needed a pheramone plug in before I left. They ordered one for me. Great people always willing to help with what you need!

I go to this store at least once every two weeks. I purchase almost $180 worth of frozen raw dog food, Stella and chewys cat food. They even provide me with a nice cooler bag and icepacks to keep the frozen food frozen.I used to have to go to another pet store to get one other brand of car food. One time I told Pasha (the very knowledgeable owner) that is was a pain. Well imagine my surprise when I came in next time and voila he had purchased and carries only for me that particular brand. Didnt even have to ask him.Christmas time, I come in to get the usual order of food. He hands me a nice wrapped gift, (bottle of wine) says thank you for you patronage.I have had to call a few times and say Im coming but wont able to be there be they close. Pasha take your time, Ill wait till your here.All this great service, and you still get buy 10 get one free on most products.I cannot recommend this awesome pet food and pet product store enough.

They have a small gate if your little guy is smart enough to not to run around too much. Good selection of raw foods. They also host a monthly dental cleaning for a good price. They have a variety of other pet products as well. The store is always clean and well designed.

Bones have been so helpful with all of my purchases. If they dont have what I need in stock, they are quick to order it in and call me when its ready for pick up. Its not just a job for them, the genuinely like to see pictures or videos of my pet and update them when I drop by. Consistently fantastic service.

I was lucky enough to have the owner help me and he changed my cats life. He informed me about every little detail and answered every question I had. Boutique store rather more so than a regular go to shop. $7 for a handful of bulk biscuits you can get for $2 at Tisol? Nope. Nice clothing and dishware but not for my wallet.
