The O.N.G.C Colony is a compact city in itself. The Colony comprises of a market place from where you can buy your day-to-day items and an A.T.M of State Bank of India. In addition to these, the Colony also has a Post Office, State Bank of India Branch, two schools namely Baroda High School and Kendriya Vidyalaya, and a huge sports ground where you can play outdoor sports like cricket and football.While these are available for everyone, there are other places that are exclusively available only for the employees and their family members. These places are, O.N.G.C office, a clinic with emergency doctors working during off days, residential flats, guest house, golf ground and club house (for functions and indoor sports).The clinic works very systematically and people who visit follow all the rules, making sure that patients feel comfortable. Doctors are nice, intelligent and well informed.The colony is clean and safe with 2 gates, both guarded by security guards.All the places in the colony can be accessed by wheel-chair. There is a parking space everywhere.The colony welcomes everyone during the Navratari festival for free. The stalls during Navratari are paid though, but at a very good price.One less star because there are some roads/places that look deserted with no or very little maintenance done.

ONGC central workshop located in Makarpura Area of Vadodara hosts the repairing works of all the oil rig equipment of onshore assets of ONGC.
