The hotel is old time good hotel. Need to improve the room standard and quality of food.

Rooms renovation. Lights in lobby were not working. Room gate was also not proper. Bathrooms needs renovation. The toilet seat and wall has less distance hence it is uncomfortable. Shower area needs glass partition while using shower. Breakfast was fixed. Need more choice. Quality was not up to mark. Hotel Surya was once a good famous Hotels in Vadodara needs more uplift.

We had Gujarati Thali at Hotel Surya. Thali was not so satisfactory. Nothing unusual experience worth remembering. It was a ordinary food experience. This place needs to be renovated at first place and improve presentation.

Eventhough we checked in through go ibibo and uploaded all documents, still we had to fill up physical form and submit documents again. Check in/check out process was painful.

The taste of the food was very much bad. It was very much spicy and I would recommend others that if they are not a spicy food lover then you should probably avoid the food. I would dare not to order anything from these Hotel from now onwards.

I have a pet and I visited this hotel for having lunch so while entering it no one informed that pet isn’t allowed after having lunch when we were waiting for someone at the reception The staff started behaving rude especially the lady who stays in the reception she is damm rude without informing anything she starts getting angry for no reason. And my pet haven’t done anything wrong in that resort then too. Like really ?

Based on my experience i stayed in 2 different rooms at 2 different instances.....the toilet in one room was hygienic and the other room was not.the hotel need to check the booking before allocating the room as when i booked a room for my self i had 2 separate beds and when i book for 2 adults just a single bed.

Delicious food and excellent services. Was there for one of the social gathering organized in banquet hall here. Staff works with politeness and responsibility to take care of your comfort. Also the hall is very spacious and can cater to 100-120 people for your social event. Very good place and surely reccommended.

Have been to their restaurant myra for evening dinner.🔹First of all they are maintaining the corona guidelines and are taking care of all safety measures for their guests and staff both.🔹So we have ordered one gujarati thali and few north indian dishes.🔹 Gujarati thali consist of all the authentic gujarati food which comprises of farsan,curries and bhaji and sweet.🔹They had khaman and mini samosa for farsan which was so perfectly cooked and for accompaniment they had mint chutney and sweet chutney.🔹For shak and curry they had mix veg,bataka curry,moth nu shaak,sev tamata, gujarati dal,rice and in breads they had bajra roti, chapathi and bakhri and various types of pickles and papad.🔹Here comes my favourite part which was sweet dish gulab jamun which was mouth melting.🔹Then we ordered soups tomato soup and manchurian soup which tasted really nice and increased my appetite.🔹Then there was russian salad which was creamy and had all the crunchy and soft texture in it.🔹Masala papad a spicy chatpata and crunch for the dinner🔹For main course we ordered paneer do pyaza which comes in two gravy one with palak gravy and other with red gravy,the combination of both was superb and was complementing each other.🔹2nd was veg jhangiri which had super creamy and cheesy gravy the way i love and had smal koftas of potato and cottage cheese.🔹For breads we ordered tandoori roti and butter kulcha which was perfect for my gravies.🔹It was a delightful evening for me and my family and really enjoyed their hospitality.🔹 Highly recommendable place during this pandemic also and you can order from Zomato also.

We went almost 16 people Family together for the Gujarati Thali in the evening. We found cockroaches in one of the Vegetable. Though they immediately changed the Dish but one can presume the cleanliness maintained in the Kitchen.It was small size cockroache in Sev tomato sabji which we had in the thali because 4-5 people from us was having Jain food.What more information should I provide?

This is very good location.The room was clean, as was tne rest of tne hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, by its variety, quality and qantity. The people were very friendly and helpful. The room charge was very reasonable and the location was great. If I could make a couple of suggewtions would ge theseL The bathtub side wall was high making it difficutl tio get out of it especially for an older person. There was no support bar. Having one of tbose istalled would help.

One of budget hotel for regular travellers. There is a valet parking available at the base of the hotel. The hotel is clean with room bit Cousy type. Room facilities available are hot water special in morning and evening do not expect much hot temperature so person who like to bath in evening have to compromise on the same. Other facilities are mostly normal like a three star hotel e.g. soap shampoo conditioner water bottle one each per person tea coffee packets and maker TV with satellite channels centralised AC IN ROOM food service laundry (express laundry shall be issue.) hotel provide you with two restaurants one for thali system which serves you delicious Gujarati thali and other for a la Carte. Morning buffet breakfast consist of bread butter toast one fruit and one fruit juice. Tea coffee on demand. Any one type dosa or uttappa puri or paratha or Batura idle or medu wada one farsan item with poha or Upma. Don’t not forget to go shop and have Ambassador sweets which is opposite to the hotel entrance door. It’s servers you mouth watering sweet. Hote is prices with all type of plan with or without breakfast with and without lunch or dinner. Bedding are not so comfortable but any one preferring semi hard bedding they shall enjoy the same. Standard room are not so big enough you can just Rome around the bed. Near by there are good restaurants and road side eateries. Hotel provide you with payable bases airport railway pick up and drop. But for railway it a walking distance of 10min. Over better hotel under the pocket budget.
