Small rest garden out Railway station

Had seen this baug just outside the Vadodara railway station. It is a small garden kind circle shaped place. You can see the Statue of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad III sitting on the throne.Feels good to see the place though when visited it was no open to go inside.

Hirak Baug is a small garden cum circle, located near Vadodara (Baroda) Railway Station. The Garden was erected as a Mark of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III’s 60 Years of Rule. There is also a Statue of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad IIIsitting on a throne. The Unveiling Ceremony of the Statue of His Highness (at Hirak Baug) was done by the Maharaja of Bikaner on 13th March, 1936.
