It was a wonderful experience living on gangaur ghat and in this hotel. It has an amazing view from the rooms and the rooftop. The natural breeze from the lake is very refreshing. The staff is really good. The location will give you the kind of experience youre probably visiting udaipur for, in the evenings it gets prettier with all the lights across the lake and the music in distant cafes. Ill recommend staying here.

Decent place to stay. Rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. Location is great. We had lake view from our room.Pros:Location is awesome. All major tourist attractions & rooftop cafes are at walking distance.Helpful staff.Cons:They should focus more on hygiene. I found a hair strand in my breakfast.Fan regulators were not working in my room.TV was not working (We didnt mind that since we hardly stayed in room)No toiletries were given. Just one smal soap bar.Overall I feel they should improve their services given they charge almost 1800 for a day.All together it was a decent stay.

We booked this hotel due to Roof Top restaurant. upon arrival hotelier said restaurant is closed now. in this case they have to remove roof top restaurant pics. hot water also not coming in room. TV also not working. even though roof also not maintained. only thing i like is the Room interior. hotelier has provided super deluxe room instead of deluxe room. for that we thanks them.

Nice place to stay in heart of the city. Easily accessible to city palce, shopping markets. You can find many good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner within radius of 1km. Even you will get good view of pichola lake from terrace. But personally I dont like cleanliness which is not up to the mark.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 8 am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. manager is friendly and helpful. Would definitely send a friend there.

We were staying here with my family and parents from 12March2020 to 14March2020 we had a very bad experience here hotel is worst. TV was not working. Washroom is worst & smell always bad. Food is not up-to the mark, better have your food outside than from the hotel. Water issue hot water facility available only for selected time period. 😒 Hotel is not a value for money. We hd stayed here for 2 nights.This a best located hotel exect besides Ghanghor Ghat.The whole staff is very helpful nd cooperative.The receptionist also guided us for next stoppages nd stays nd all.We had a good experience in the unknown city Udaipur.These 5s for u. Restaurant was also amazing like old haveli nd roof top restaurant has no words to say.Best location ever.

Location of the hotel is very good.. its at Ghangur ghat and just in front of Bagore ki haveli however, the service and amenities are basic. You have to call at reception everytime you need hot water as they have gyser at the roof. They dont offer electric kettle at room. Cleanliness is not that good. Electric switches are broken. They charge you huge amount for foods n drinks at rooftop but all the all the chairs are broken. And you cant even complaint about it as they say...JO BHI HAI YEHI HAI SIR. You can easily take an example the Cane of coke you get in market for 30 or 35 rs, they charge you re. 75 for that. High price doesnt bother you if you get good services. Bathroom sanitary fittings were not very good condition. IN TOTAL..ITS AN AVERAGE KIND OF HOTEL.

I had booked OYO 10319 Hotel Pichola Haveli hoping to stay beside Lake Pichola in a clean hotel. However, my family and I were very disapointed when we checked in:1) the rooms were dirty, 2) the bathroom had water all over and there was no hot water in the evening 3) the linens were dirty 4) the breakfast was horrible - limited choices, lots of oil and really unhealthy. The view of the rooftop restaurant is really deceptive - its actually quite an untidy place.We saw a family checking out of one of the rooms in the morning in a huff and that should have been our clue.We wanted to check out and called Oyo customer service. This is another wall that you just cannot surpass. I had to make multiple calls, wait endless to receive some help but there was no resolution. Luckily I found the Oyo local manager at the reception and I vented my frustration at him and he helped me refund some amount and check out.Never ever going to buy into Oyos value proposition. Oyo is typically for low budget backpackers who have not experienced good hotel services. NOT recommended for families.

This place is huge but very tasteful in decor and hospitality. It is directly across from the market and within walking distance of downtown. Next door was a very nice antique store, too. The housekeeper assigned to our room was VERY considerate, always leaving very polite notes for us. I would definitely stay here again if I return to this area.

We visited the place for snacks while waiting for the Bhagore ki haveli show. The restaurant is on the fourth floor. Amazing ambience with good view of the lake. We ordered veg pakora and fries. Tasty snacks and ginger tea and service was good.

Great location. Within walking distance of nearly everything. Nice to come back to relax in the pool and hot tub after a long day of exploring the area. Highly recommend. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I will always stay here when in Udaipur. Second time we have stayed.

This hotel is in old Udaipur. We could not take our car till the hotel since cars are not allowed between 9 am to 9pm in and around the hotel area. Basically roads in old Udaipur are too small for two cars to pass by. So we parked near by at a parking area. Charges were ₹150 for overnight. Took a Rick till the hotel which cost us ₹60.The hotel luckily had a lift. Most hotels in old Udaipur do not have lifts. Rooms were good. Neat and clean. Room service was good. Food was good. The manager was a nice guy.. forgot his name.!!On the last day we decided to extend for a day. So informed the manager who very politely agreed and gave us another day to stay.... ofcourse he charged us for the same.The hotel had a terrace restaurant, actually almost all the hotels in old Udaipur have a terrace restaurant. So you get a great view of lake Pichola from the terrace. Take some fantastic photos in the early morning and then in the night from the terrace.The Bagore ki haveli is bang outside the hotel. Go there , dont miss it. It is basically a one hour show of rajasthani dance.7pm to 8pm and ₹100 ticket per head.

The service was wonderful from making the reservation to checking out. Answering all of our questions, pointing us in the right direction, and with a great personality. Plus the rooms and amenities were great. The location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit and a short driving of the others told about. Very nice visit!

This property is right next to the gangaur ghat and hence close to the Pichola Lake. The lane leading up to the hotel is pretty dirty. It is an old haveli as the name suggest. I booked it via Fabhotels app. And it was the worst decision ever in my life. The online photos were totally misleading. It is a shady and dirty hotel. Which ever room i saw was nasty and was smelling rotten. I spoke to other guests they said they felt like being cheated with what they saw online and the real experience. I left the hotel after an hour and shiffted to another one. Never in my life I have had such a terrible hotel. A very honest advice to all, please avoid this hotel.

We stayed in the king room. We felt like we had our own wing! The bed was very comfy. And it was CLEAN. We also love the convenience of the shops in the area which is just up the road from the haveli. All in all a GREAT experience.

I had a really pleasant experience at this Hotel. I have stayed in room #301 which I think has the best view overlooking Lake Pichola. Roof Top restaurant was also good. The best thing is a location. It is located on the Heart of Udaipur. City Palace, Jagdish temple and Bagore ki haveli is only 5-10 mins walking. I will definitely recommend this Hotel to my friends and family.

Did not allow check-in because we have booked through oyo.. waited for more than an hour outside the hotel around 11:30pm.. very bad behaviour for the staff....

We book this hotel through fab. Worst experience ever. Locality is not good. If you are traveling with your own vehicle, it need to stop 1.5 km away from the hotel. From there you need to walk 30-40 mins or to take auto (150 RS). Then again 5-10 mins walking. So its quite hectic after your full day travel. As we were trying to contact fab they were not responding properly. After 1&half hour of continue contact, they were ready to change our hotel. Washroom quality is not good in any room. Towels are harsh to use. There is no electricity backup.

Its the best place to go to be in Udaipurs North, close to the great restaurants, shopping and museums. The staff at the hotel is off the charts amazing. What I would change is making the windows triple paned. If youre lucky enough to stay on the Room Level floor, you will never want to leave.

We gathered at the Hotel Pichola Haveli for a cousins reunion. The staff made sure that we had everything set up as we needed in the conference room (used as our gathering place). Our rooms were all in the same area of the hotel, and situated near our gathering place. We were allowed to bring in our own food for light lunches and suppers. A play area for small children was right outside the gathering room which had an unobstructed view of the play area. Overall we had a wonderful experience, and would certainly use the Hotel Pichola Haveli again for a group get-together or for fun get-away. Many things to see and do in the area!...

The Hotel Pichola Haveli is an exclusive hotel and you feel very special when you are there. The rooms are impeccably appointed. The bathroom was huge and had anything in it that you may have forgotten at home. We attended a wedding there and the food was amazing.

The Hotel Pichola Haveli is a Solid Hotel Close to Everything in Udaipur. I have stayed there many times. I have never had a bad experience there! The Rooms are spacious and well planned out. The cost is reasonable for what you are receiving!

Hotel is just next to Gangaur ghat, right next to Bangore ki Haveli. Its small gullies everywhere but hotel is situated right in the heart of the old city.You can walk 10 metres and sit and relax at gangaur ghat. Food was okayish. In my stay, on day one there was a powercut for 2 hours, and after I complained the backup was switched on. Then there was a problem with TV connection.Mind you that during rains entire area surrounding the hotel gets submerged. But you have advantage of cozy city around you.Overall, a nice place with average sized rooms and average food.

This hotel was nice. Its location is good and right by the lake. the biggest and the most best part of the hotel is its location on the lake front and within walking distance from most the shopping areas. the staff were caring and willing to help us with all our requests. rooms were large and well decorated. they helped us too with our further travel plans. definitely recommended.

4 stars solely for the location and view from the rooftop. Room was just ok at an above average price. Lifts seldom work and food a lil pricey. But you will forget everything at the very first sight of lake Pichola from the roof top. Bagore Ki Haveli and Gangaur Ghat is just 10 steps ahead. No parking and taxi access.

This hotel was clean and had a lot of charm. The bellmen were always there to open the door and assist with luggage and I loved the quaint restaurant and lobby areas. The room was very well maintained as well.

Room service is zero.... only couple of people handling hotel. ..room.were not alloted as per confirmation...so we have to compromise in room.. bigger room is good...hot water was not coming in bathroom...only plus point terrace view was awesome....Parking facility is not available.. and we cant take our car up to gate.. street is very narrow..

I loved everything about The Hotel Pichola Haveli. I would highly recommend for a work or play visit to Udaipur. Location is premier, decorating trendy and cozy, staff fantastic, restaurant and bar inviting.

Staff, rooms, an old elevator, breakfast, amanities, all needs to be worked upon . It feels you are on your own in this hotel. This hotel is not approachable via car. You need to take an auto who will charge you INR 150 for one kilometer travel. The only thing that you might find some relief in is the rooftop restaurant looking down on the lake pichola. There are absolutely no big reasons to stay at this hotel.

Very courteous and helpful. Cons: 1. Charging high for foods. Even charging 2.5x of MRP. I ordered Tuborg strong 650 ml having MRP of Rs. 100, but they charged me Rs 250. Thats not good practice! 2. Service is very slow. One have to wait a long for the order to be supplied.

Hotel was overpriced. The rooms were beautiful but the hotel has poor hygiene conditions. Dirty water was served for drinking and washrooms were dirty. Also their restaurant was not functional most of the time we were there so had to order food from outside. Had to face issues with water supply and air conditioning as well.

Our experience was good.. location of this hotel is great which is very near to Pichola lake and gangor ghat.. it is also adjacent to Bagor Ki Haweli where you can visit every evening for cultural program... It is hardly 300 meter away from City Palace.

I stayed here for one night. The best thing about this hotel is mesmerizing view of lake Pichola from rooftop. Rooms were clean and very nice. And the worst thing about this place was food. We ordered butter chicken and the chicken was not fresh at all.

Request all not to book this hotel. We had the worst experience and the rooms are nothing like shown in the pictures.The washroom is very dirty (youll see fungus on the walls). The hotel needs a lot of maintenance work and lacks baisc amenities.Even to get hot water youll have to wait for hours.

This was the worst hotel experience I have had in my entire life. Not only did they put us into a murky room with a small window which opened towards a wall (3 people in less than 100 sq ft space), but the hotel manager argued with us and tried to threaten us when we asked him to cancel the reservation. We asked for a refund from him and he said that was not possible. When we decided to store our luggage in the room we paid for, he said there would be an additional fine for just putting our luggage in our room. Unbelievable! Because we had to catch a flight the next day, we did not complain to the legal system. Otherwise I have no hesitation in saying that this was the worst experience with any hotel in my life, even at a humanitarian level. While leaving, when I asked them whether customer feedback means anything to them, they said No it doesnt matter as the hotel is on the lake and they will get customers anyway. In conclusion, dont expect any good customer service here. I would rather stay farther away from the lake than getting into a hotel with a rude staff. The manager doesnt really care about the customers as the hotel is located on the lake and hence, he thinks it will always be occupied irrespective of bad customer service.P.S: My stay here was over an year ago. Not sure if the hotel ownership or management has changed since then.

Worst hotel I have seen in my whole life. Located in a very narrow street which is also not so clean. Hotel is not atol clean or have a healthy environment to stay. They dont provide you room service. U have to go to yhe rooftop every time to have food. They dont even care about your plan as they neither provide you the cab for sigth seeing nor denied for that. They can only waste your time.

Location is good , rooms are spacious and view from some of the rooms are also good , roof top restaurant offers limited menu but Rajasthani delicacies are good however approach road is too small and this place doesnt have its own parking , city palace and Jag mandir are at walking distance of less than 5 min and this place is located on gangur ghat itself. Overall a good experience with hitches in approach and parking can be one of the options for tourists because of the place it is located.
