Thanks Leela Udaipur for making our vacation so comfortable and memorable. its a beautiful property very well maintained with a spectacular view of Lake Pichola. Staff is very friendly, prompt room service and delicious food. There were 2 things which bothered me. First was the breakfast was exactly the same for all the 3 days that we stayed at Leela. It would have been better if their had been some changes in menu. Second was there was no child playing area on the property as we had 2 toddlers who needed to be kept occupied.We had an extremely comfortable stay at Leela and will certainly recommend this property to our friends.Regards

Just wow. The palace, the view from the room and balcony, the atmosphere, all the staffs behaviour, the food, the beverages, everything is just more than perfect. Siddesh at Library Bar serves us some of his signature cocktails. Those were awesome.

Had the most stupendous views for 2 lovely days. This place has got amazing stay experience, hospitality and delicious food. We had all meals booked and that proved to be a right decision. They have a wide variety and something for everyone.You will see that the entire place has got mix of western and traditional touch. And there is a lot to explore within the palace.

Everything from check-in to check-out was a lovely experience at Leela Palace Udaipur. We had turned on Google Maps to get to Leela by road which was a mistake as it led us to very small lanes to get to the hotel. We should have gone to Dudh Talai from where you can easily get a boat courtesy Leela Jetty to get comfortably to the hotel while enjoying a beautiful boat ride on lake Pichola. We were assigned to our Butler Ms. Riya who left no stone unturned to make our stay memorable and comfortable. She help set up a freshly made Fruit Cake with lovely mid night room decoration for our wedding anniversary celebration. There was bubble bath to enjoy for our kid. From lavish breakfasts to gourmet meals the culinary experience was delightful too. Do not miss lovely dinner by lake at the Sheesh Mahal for which Riya helped us book a table. The staff is very hospitable and the entire setting makes you feel like a King. Would love to be back some day for more such memories.

Very poor experience this time. Had visited in Feb 21, stay was amazing with best service and food. But in July 21, it seems hotel has laid off its experienced staff in Second wave and hired all freshers with no experience. This time it was total waste of money.

Our expectations from this hotel were just like their rates: high. However, their hospitality was extremely poor. Despite booking everything in advance , the staff refused to accommodate us for lunch and dinner, and their way of approaching us was very impolite. The food was overpriced for its quality and taste. Their tables and cutlery were not cleaned properly , and their service was not up to the mark.

Luxury at its best!A very beautiful property overlooking Lake pichola, taj lake palace and city palace on one side. They welcome you with such love and make your stay so grand. It truly gives you a royal treatment. Theres flute playing every morning, traditional dance and music every evening and music produced by glass ware at night.Felt so calm, so serene here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Our housekeeper Mr Pankaj did a great job every time we left our rooms. There were beautiful flowers waiting for us in our room everytime we came back. Frankly speaking I didnt visit this place but its my desire to do so. One of my relatives recently went there and they had a very great experience. Also, the ambience and service is so good. They have a good property (which many other hotels around this have) but they really need to learn hospitality and many other things to justify the cost. We stayed in their luxury suite but they dont have a smart tv, the sit outs are always dirty, the food served is really bad in quality and is spoiled at times (which they dont pay much heed to) and no safety precautions are taken during Covid times. Overall, kindly donot waste your money here. They dont even deserve to serve guests with such pathetic services.

Staff is very rude.they deny the free jetty ride which is there till 11.30pm and insist to take their boat rides which is rs.5000 plus taxes.The staff are not polite and helpful and have a major attitude problem.will suggest taj palace anyday compare to leelas

Great and amazing property with excellent staff. Me and my to be wife had our stay there for 2 days for our pre wedding photo shoot and there was simply nothing missing. Had a gala time there. Our visit was especially made a thousand times better because of over the top helpful and polite natures of all the staff members. Really if the property wouldnt have been this good it would have be a pleasant stay because of the staff. But the property was next level beautiful and elegant and the staff just added stars to it. Beautiful and not so big property built in Rajasthani style. Food is really good and staffs are very nice & hospitality is very good. Rooms are very beautiful with every possible comfort. Balcony view is really nice. As it is situated near lake so, you would get a boat ride to hotel. In evening it really looks very beautiful. Lights decor and everything. To put the experience at this property into words is quite an ineffable task. We decided to stay at the property to commemorate my mothers 55th birthday and the entire affair was executed smoothly. The property itself is an engineering marvel designed by architect Bill Bensley and spread over an area of approximately 6.5 acres, the palace has captivating views of the lake and nearby palaces, magnificent artwork throughout the property, lavish landscapes and quite unique water features spanning several areas around the property. It also holds a ranking in the worlds best hotels and that is justified once you see the palace. Its an environment that captures luxury and resplendence at its best to provide the occupant with an imperial aura. To begin with, Mr. Nirav was our butler for the duration of our stay and he ensured there was never a dull moment; from arranging the birthday venue and associated decor to giving us a thorough tour of the palace, he catered to all our whims and fancies. THE LIBRARY bar is a whole vibe in itself and we had Mr. Arun helming the entire drinks binge for us during our stay and personally recommending the top tier liquor class. Dining at the Sheesh Mahal with Mr. Bhanu assisting us satiate our epicure. THE DINING ROOM absolutely caught my attention with the myriad cuisines offered on the menu and the char grilled asparagus was my personal favorite followed by the soft polenta which was a culinary experience in itself. Ms. Ankita, Ms. Varsha and Ms. Riya assisted us in every possible manner at the dining areas and otherwise. They had many personal recommendations as well as suggestions in drinks and foods which were all put into effect only to be followed by utter admiration. The reception team we interacted with included Mr. Tarun, Ms. Sarika and Ms. Pratibha who were determined to provide us with all necessary assistance and guidance with regards to our stay, expenses as well as any possible queries.To sum it all up, the property has its own essence and is a mandatory stop if youre visiting UDAIPUR. Beautiful property, good food. Hospitality can be improved as we are paying the price for the same! Also the whole experience is good just needs to be more well managed, going to the jetty waiting for them to ask the management to let u take the boat is like a hustle. If u have a reservation the gate keeper should have your name on the list. Management needs to work on this aspect. We visited for dinner and had to wait untill he spoke at the reservation for like 15 mins! That is not a something I would look for on my next visit.

We stayed at this resort in March 2021. It is a beautiful resort with manicured landscape. You feel welcomed from the minute you step in. The support staff goes out their way to make your stay comfortable. I haven’t seen this level of service in a very long time. Rooms are tastefully decorated with breathtaking view of Lake Pichola. Our floor butler Akhilesh made sure the room stayed in immaculate pristine condition.Their “Dining room” is a great restaurant with amazing wait staff. Ajay and Almas were particularly outstanding and they went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. They work long hours but you can see them smiling and attentive any time of the day. The restaurant manager Sagar also kept checking on us to make sure we liked the food and we had everything we desired. They packed us meal on the departure date as we had a long drive. Simple things like these made this stay memorable.Their evening entertainment is also something you shouldn’t miss. It starts sharp at 6:45pm.Overall, a comfortable stay for my young family at a top notch resort.

The views are breath taking. Loved every minute of the stay. Good hospitality and the food is amazing. The breakfast buffet isnt that great. But the other alacarte food is excellent.

My husband and I visited The Leela Palace for a Staycation this October 2020 since we really needed a break from our routine. The hotel was top end in architecture No Doubt. But had great service too given the limited number of staff they could keep. Little personal touches here and there add a lot of value like the chef coming out and asking for your preference and taste. Overall a place definitely worth visiting. 💖

I have stayed in this hotel for 5 days by seeing the price everyone starts thinking its really expensive well it is but trust me its worth the experience they have a room bigger than my entire flat and a super massive balcony which is twice the size of the room with a pond!!!!their service was top notch

For reaching out there you must first go to the Leela palace guest jetty and from there Leela palace boat will take you to the hotel. Great property, okayish service

Great property. Amazing food. Rooms are spacious and comfortable . Every aspect of sanitization is taken care of. Staff is professional and humble. Only downside is spread of breakfast buffet which offer very limited variety .. but other aspects outweigh this.

Initially the stay was not great. But when i raised my issue with the general manager he was helpful and genuinely made an effort to resolve my issues.Overall i am satisfied with the outcome.Sepcial thanks to Mr Akhilesh from fnb. He was a perfect host.

It was a great place to visit and the food was nice and had great experience, I have seen both good and bad reviews of it and had a second thought about it but trust me it was all worth it.

One of the magnificent stay you may get in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Go for this ( also Oberai ) if you are looking for luxury with more room space and more amenities with almost similar costs in the same category hotels. I preferred Leela / Oberai rather than Taj Lake palace ( unless you want to experience the original palace feel )...This is pure elegance. 30k + perday for a basic category, still they offer a double size room compare to Tak lake palace and the food variety is really huge...If you are in dilemma of choosing Taj or Leela, i would suggest Leela ( if you are not too classic )

I stayed in taj Fateh palace for two days and another two days in Leela... lived Leela s food, good variety, local taste, mouth watering dishes.. loved the welcoming .. rooms are good .. in comparison to TAJ, food is good here.. taj also has its own heritage feel..

If you are in Udaipur and want to experience luxury, just get on the boat to Leela Palace during sunset and just experience the luxury they are offering you. As tourists you will be enthralled with the interiors and ambience of the hotel.I have been to Sheesh Mahal restaurant many times and totally love the atmosphere there. Though I havent been much satisfied with the food at Dining Room.But it is a highly recommended experience when in Udaipur.
