It is a nice place to explore the Udaipur city from height of this place. There is also a restaurant with a great view. You can reach from city by auto or cab easily. Then you have to pay a ticket to enter the gate for per person charge and a vehicle charge too. If you not have a vehicle there is also a facility to drop and picked up back in very cheap charge.

One of the most beautiful place i have seen after a long long time. There is a fort at the top of the mountain. I strongly suggest people to visit this place. If you are in Udaipur do not miss this place. It is located at the peak of the mountain and you will require a vehicle to reach here, either a bike/scooty or a car/SUV. i was mesmerized at this place what a beautiful location, at one side you can see the entire city and on the other you have hills, valley and luscious greenery spread across acres of land. Pro tip: Wear Comfy cloth, footwear and carry water along.

Sajjangarh has two attractions, Monsoon Palace and Wildlife Sanctuary. This place will attract you if you love to be in nature. Ticket counter is located at the parking lot. The entrance fee is very nominal. Moreover if you are traveling with kids, and do carry their school/college ID Card, they would get further discounts. Rate for full ticket is 37 bucks. For foreigners the cost is 302. Dont bother for camera fees, as we did not see anyone checking or objecting to taking pictures. You may trek the whole area, or opt for Golf Carts. Now there is two types of cart. The Shared ones and the private one. Difference is that in the shared one they will try and stuff as many tourist as possible. And the private one is all yours. In the private one they give you sometime to venture and will help you pinpoint the animals in enclosure. The cart tour is barely 15 - 20 mins covering all the 21 enclosures. They will leave you at the last animal enclosure and you may walk the way to exit or take a common golf cart back.I suggest an evening trip, as in the afternoon heat most of the animals will be hiding. You will have a better chance to see them when the heat is not there. Be sure to carry insect repellent, as this place is infested with mosquitoes, or at least at our time of visit it was. Other than the animals, and a small play area for kids their not much here.

Very nice sanctuary. But it did not have proper directions and map of whole area. Very large route ( around 3 km) with a lots of up and down , which makes us tiered very soon. All the animals are present and visible too , but they remain at farther boundry of their area. Also going there during the afternoon is not a good idea as all the animals are asleep at that time. So I would prefer you to go there as early as possible.

One of the best viewing sites for complete Udaipur(the city of lakes). Journey till up is not that tiring. Buses not recommended as turns are very pin shaped. Best during sunset. Good history for architectural studies as the life of the royals during monsoon is revealed in that place. All the style of living. Dont forget to visit the sanctuary for sure.

Beautiful views during the climb & from the fort. Try to reach by 5 at the entry gate to get enough time & sunset view as well. We went during monsoon on a cloudy day ... Awesome. Missed to be at the cafe ... Am sure wud have been worth trying given its seating arrangement overlooking mountains & valley.

One of the most organised and well kept wildlife sanctuary i have seen. They provide with different options to roam around the place, like one couple sharing, group sharing or by walk. They have electric cars to take u to different places around. The animals were kept in open well fenced boundaries not into some cage, that was the best part of the place. They have water cooles at different locations for the tourists. It was amazing experience to see the animals up so close.

This sanctuary gives a close view of flora snd fauna. The area is spread around 3km where you can see the animals either by wallking or the golf cars. Its better to visit in morning or early evening as most of the animals sleep during day time. At every small interval benches are placed for resting. Drinking water and clean washrooms are also available. Overall its good to visit this place.

Of all the places you find in Udaipur, this seem to be time pass palace... there’s nothing special about the architecture of this palace but the location itself is quite amazing. You get to see entire view of the Udaipur city from this place, the Aravali mountain ranges, the lakes, palaces etc.. quite an interesting place. And especially for kids, check out a special attraction on the top floor... 😊

Trip was very fantastic and worth for money. Tiger, African lion and panther was the center of attraction for everyone.green golf cart is too good for ride and reliable. I think they wildlife sanctuary should be more attractive and I want to give a suggestion that please provide animals with much more better shading to protect them from hard sun and provide fresh water.Overall my trip was very good.

Here polo cart are also available . Its 50 rs per head. Its almost in waiting so, you may have to wait for that. Their is concession for school children after showing their valid Id cards. Its 15 rs for school students. 30 for the Indian citizen. If you want to take photographs you have to take camera ticket. Their is seperate tickets for camera and video camera. If u have kids with you polo cart is best .Otherwise it will be fun roaming there by foot.

I particularly went in summers thus couldn’t see many animals as they were inside their houses. However very well maintained place and kids go bonkers looking at animals without cage. They have a white tiger as well and other attractions too. Only one advice hire a golf car don’t go walking or you’d be tired a lot.

Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary in Udaipur is one of the best places to experience and witness a variety of flora and fauna living harmoniously in the human-made habitat. 🌿☘🍀🌴Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary is a salient part of Sajjangarh Palace built-in 1884.The Palace derived its name from Maharana Sajjan Singh, one of the bravest rulers of the Mewar dynasty. The Sajjangarh Palace is about 10km away from central Udaipur City. The sanctuary is home to animals like chitals, panthers, hares, blue bulls (Nilgais), jackals, wild boars, hyenas, and sambhars. You can come across a wide range of birds and reptiles. 🦖🐊🐍There is an artificial lake named Jiyan Lake which supports the sanctuary. The lake is also referred to as Tiger Lake or Bari Lake. 🏞Must visit when you go to Udaipur. 💯💢💥💫

The Sajjangarh palace, was established in 1987 in the city of Udaipur of Rajasthan. It covers an area of 5.19 square kilometers. It is a well-maintained wildlife sanctuary now with solid wall of Kishan Pol protecting the sanctuary. The hillside around the sanctuary is thickly wooded and the former kings of Udaipur maintained this area as a royal shooting preserve. When Udaipur was attacked by the Scindhias in 1764, the hill was used as an artillery dump; and some cannons are still found out here.(((((((( I personally have evidence of tiger untill 2005 now its totally extinct #shameless)))))

Very well managed by Forest department. Sajjangarh Fort is at top of the hill and zoological park is situated down the hill. One can njoy beautiful sunset from fort. And a beautiful view of udaipur city, fatehsagar lake, pichola lake, city palace etc. Can be seen from here. Overall very relaxing place to visit with family and friends.

When we entered sanctuary, it was very hot and sun was in its maximum strength. All the animals were sleeping either inside the cage or in artificial water pond to keep them cool. In short due to terrible heat animals chose to rest inspite of moving and entertaining vuewers. Cantin inside was too costly and were charging higher then the MRP rates. So we just moved around in electric mini bus.
