Nice smarak giving tribute to Maharana Pratap. This place has a mesmerizing view of the Fateh Sagar lake and the city as well!Do visit the Hall of Heroes museum as well nearby. Prefer to take a car / bike to visit as the walking route will be unbearable in the summer to walk.Overall a nice experience to have with friends and family. One con is that Wheelchair accessible paths are not available and will pose an issue for some people. You can visit the museum easily though!!

The view from the hill-top is awesome. There is a museum showcasing the history of Chittorgarh and Kumbhalgarh including the Haldighati battle. There are also statues of Maharana Prataps associates-Hakim Khan Sur, Bhamashah, Bhilu Raja, and Jhalaman.Known for maharana pratap bravery and gallantry, Maharana Pratap is one of the greatest warriors in the history of India. Pratap ruled over Udaipur for about 27 years from 1572 to 1597. One of the most glorious battles fought by Pratap Singh of Sisodia Rajput dynasty was the Battle of Haldighati. For kids/children/toddlers the following are the major attractions and amidst Pandemic we literally found this place deserted :--- A very old slide of cement and its stairs are pretty high and the slide lands in a big sand pit. ( Be careful now as looks not in function from ages).--- Sunset point named BHILU RAJA PARK or eagle garden because of a huge eagle built overlooking the lake. Here the small part of garen has natural slope to roll for kids. Popularly know as LOATAN MAGRI to those 90s kids.--- Also here as you take another turn you will find GREAT WARRIOR JHALAMAN park where there are criss cross/ tic tac like garden section to play with ones imagination.---Then there is Museum where you see spectacular prototype of Kumbhalgarh Forts to Chittorgarh Forts to City Palace to Monsoon Palace. Also you see arms used then, which kids would amuse over.--- Beneath the museum there is this KIKA CHILDRENS PARK. Though no swings or slides , just big square garden. For tickets and timings see the pictures attached.

Theres no actual sense of making this place this large. Its just a memorial. Like the thousands of other memorials for the same person. Its a waste of resources. There is no proper place to park the vehicle. Rs 75 is the ticket cost as of Jan 2018.Inside youll find nothing but a statue, and a large useless space. And yes, you have climb like a 200 stairs if you are on foot.Although theres also road, but you need to pay a certain amount before taking a vehicle inside.
