Small boutique hotel very well maintained. Each room has a character. Beautiful terraces and swimming pools. Very tasty food. Excellent service by the staff. Only missing is a garden. This hotel does not have any garden. Otherwise it is a great hotel. Worth holidaying at this place.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.Breakfast and dinner food are delicious. Candlelight dinner setup is also very nice.They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 8:00 am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well.This place truly gives you a feeling of pure royalty. Absolutely beautiful view (specially from its top floor terrace), very lush and colorful.They have a beautiful open pool overlooking the greens.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Udaipur

The place has the heritage feel in its architecture, design, motifs and the decor. It is an interesting experience and you will find interesting nooks and corners to pose and take some lovely post worthy photos. The food was fairly decent in terms of the taste and flavour. The money you pay is more for the set-up really and less for the food that you eat. It has ample parking space and helpful team of valet. Especially interesting are the outdoor individual tables under small domes on the terrace restaurant.

I booked this property last month. Rooms are big.. v friendly staffs. Breakfast buffet is good.Swimming pool is good.Truly a royal stay.Lunch n dinner menu is limited.

I havent stayed here but when I called for reservation they were least bothered for booking as well as they gave me two quotation one in morning verbally over a call. And another when I called them in evening they havent sent me any email for confirmation and at that time they gave me another quote. Do you think customer is fool? They are not bother for any business nor they are customer centric. Pathetic and utterly disgusting experience before visiting place. I request you kindly think twice before you go because they know if customer calls for second time they have whopped tariff from 10000/- to 16000/-.

Situated almost near trident hotel. Location one of the best. Hotel looks like a palace perfectly suits its name.We were well received by the reception staff and guided us to the room. Doors are crafted beautifully. Everywhere there is craftsmanship and make the more of a palace.Maintenance at its best. Cleanliness is well observed.Breakfast, lunch and dinner is of best quality. You get vegetarians as well as non vegetarian items. Served separately and kept separately to avoid touching the food by others.You just have to order the food, though it is kept accessible to everyone. But the service is so prompt, they serve everything on table.I recommend that every one who visits Udaipur, must stay and enjoy luxurious stay with starred facilities.

Amazing View, Great Food, Superb Decor!!We went here to celebrate our parents anniversary and it was worth it.You are welcome with a beautiful decor right at the entrance of the hotel. Stairs to the rooftop were lit up with the diyas making the whole ambience look ethereal.Views from the rooftop are amazing. Hotel overlooks Lake Pichola and you witness some beautiful views from up there.Food is delicious. Service is also good and courteous.We had ordered a cake for our parents and they presented it in a beautiful tray decorated with candles and rose petals. That was a very sweet gesture.We loved our experience and would definitely recommend it to other guests.Date of visit - Feb 2021

Before I share my experience, I would like to categories it into 4 factors.1. Rooms and restaurants2. Amenities3. Service4. Price.1) Rooms are pretty good and you can get the good view of the nature.Restaurant is also good and almost all cuisine is available.So I want to give it 3.5 rating.2) In amenities, I used pool(indoor and outdoor)WiFi. Both the pool are not that much big. If you want to spend some quality time with your friends or family then it might get difficult as the max person enjoy in the pool at a time is around 8-10.If I talk about the WiFi then it is ok. At least you can manage your basic things.So I want to give it 3 rating.3) I think the best factor to judge any place is the service that you get for the amount that you are paying and I think this place has to make a lot of improvement.We received the food after 1-1.5 hrs on an average and sometimes next day as well.I still remember, one day we ordered some snacks at 7PM and we received that order next day along with our lunch😂😂😂.Note: Do not order Green Garden Salad. Trust me if you order that you are gonna regret. Just 2 cucumber chopped and served in a big plate for 700 bucks.So based on my experience I want to give 1 rating.4) Now the second most reason to judge the place is the price.I found this place very expensive. Especially the food. 700 bucks for just 2 cucumber 😂😂😂.Rooms are decent but not up to that mark when compared to the charges that we paid.So I want to give it 2.5 rating.So overall I rate this place as 2* and would recommend you all to try for other options and consider this as the last place in your list.

I stayed there for only one day and later shifted to Oberoi Udaivilas as I had to attend an event there. But my one day stay at Chunda Palace was much better than one at Udaivilas. The staff is very welcoming and warm and the rooms are much more royal looking.

A must visit palace in udaipur with beautiful night view and city lights. Food was also awsome with very welcoming staff. We ordered paneer butter masala, daal fry,and palak corn. All were yummy. Just dont forget to order ANESTHESIA in beverages. Yes ,it was so refreshing . Go for it.

Lovely place..i celebrated 14th Feb..with my Valentine..it was superb experience..loved the way they treat the guests..its an experience..Would love to celebrate and spend some more time at this property..Food (Non Veg) was excellent..No complaints..Just appreciation for the Staff and Chef..

We booked this place because of the beautifully painted rooms. But initially we were given a very simple room. We asked them to change our room and they gave us a room we had seen the photos they provided. The food and service was outstanding. The wall and ceiling paints are beautiful here.

Chunda palace is a BEAUTIFUL property located just next to trident and Udaivillas on trident road. This place gives a mesmerising view of mountains, lake and sunset. Its perfect for making your evening and night special. The interior of this place is very royal and aesthetic. They have both indoor and rooftop outdoor pool with a view.Their rooftop open restaurant is one of the best. The food is absolutely finger Luckily delicious. They even have these compact palace (domb) shaped structure made to enjoy the pool side dinner with ravishing view. They have table for 4 in that. Its overall a memorable experience one should experience. I loved my visit here.

Superb Rooms, Excellent Staff, Great Good. Overall Value For Money

We had booked the entire property for our wedding in Nov. 2020 a year in advance. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and the entire year was uncertain. Because of Rajasthan Gov. restrictions we had to cancel our wedding at the last minute and there was zero support from the hotel especially the COO Abhinav. They were so stubborn and stringent on their stand. Our advance of 6lacs is still with them for which they have no intentions of refunding. On top of that Abhinav told us that we can utilise the 6 lacs within a few months only if we guarantee an expenditure of 20-25lacs. Kindly refrain from booking this hotel for weddings. It’s better to go for renowned 5star hotel chains who are more than happy to help out in such situations!

If you want to take a complete break from your busy schedule, this place is heaven ❤️❤️

Beautiful heritage Hotel, Room size is big with good quality food

One of the best hotels weve stayed in India. Everyone we asked would tell us this hotel is mini City Palace and indeed it was.Their hospitality, size of rooms, maintenance, food, etc everything was beyond fabulous.We visited the whole city for different lake views, but the view from the hotel is unmatched incredible. (Better than Sajjangarh view)We stayed two nights and roamed most of the day but when we toured the hotel, it was an experience in itself.Anyone staying here should reserve one day to spend time at the property.For the food - The breakfast spread was a mix of traditional and continental, the dinner was on the terrace, in candle light and with overlooking the city, with small fireplaces perfect to warm your hands from the chilly weather, not to mention the food was amazing coupled with the most mesmerizing view.. We also ordered a rather late in-room dining which was also scrumptious.Special thanks to Isha who remembered it was one of our birthday and arranged for a cake.It was a great experience!!

The Chunda Palace, well this boutique heritage hotel definitely took me back in time and gave a taste of what royalty would feel like.It’s slightly heavy on the pocket but the experience is worth paying for and worth remembering.

In this dreamy City of lakes, Chunda Palace comes with its own ethereal musing. Each corner of the Palatial hotel is hand painted, with exquisite furnishing and flowery aroma giving the Royal fervour to its guests. Whole hotel is spick and span. There are multiple sitting areas, terrace restaurant, an outdoor and an indoor (two) swimming pools (both well maintained). You feel like a King/Queen for the time spent. 👸🤴Talking about hospitality, never seen such warm reception, smooth check in/out with no blurps. All your needs are met with congeniality. In our one week long tour of Rajasthan, this was the only hotel which took Covid precautions with seriousness. 👍The terrace restaurant has a direct view of The City Palace , Lake Pichhola.For a comfortable, peaceful stay in a luxury hotel at an affordable price in Udaipur, I would give 5/5 to Chunda Palace.❤️

WRONG LOCATION 🚨other than that hotel looks very grand but its actually a three star property. Rooms are big and lot of heritage but some of it seems overdone.Food is good.

Its a great place with superb ambience and peaceful vibe!! We took the roof top restuarant and had fanily candle light dinner. We were 11 people so had to reserve the table for the same. It was pretty easy to so that on zamoto app. They even called at the time to make sure about the reservation... Communication was speedy amd food was no doubt great. In total had a great time 😉

Absolutely worrth a visit.. especially during covid times.. must visit . very romantic during dusk times..live music is there amazing food completely justifies the cost. Dont order Margherita pizzas in appetizers .main course meals are very well prepared .Im yet to see it operate at 100 percent efficiency ..when I visited some really pretty rooms were locked. That are breathtakingly beautiful.Overall a memorable experience. 🤘🏼❤

I headed down from Gurgaon to Udaipur after 12 years to create new memories of Udaipur with my wife in February 2021. I was really keen on showing her around all the places that I used to hang out and visit with my then batchmates, friends and colleagues. Boy has Udaipur changed in the last 12 years!!! One thing that hasnt changed (and Im so glad that it hasnt) is the people! Udaipur has a culture unmatched in the entire country.We checked in to the Chunda Palace for our 2nd Anniversary and I honestly wanted something exquisite for the price that I would pay. Thanks to a dear old friend (whos actually not that old) I got a pretty sweet deal at the Chunda Palace. As part of our anniversary holiday, we were spoiled silly by the staff. Everyone knew us in the hotel as we strolled and wished us with cakes and flowers and a very special anniversary turn down service that would send so many major hotels shying in awe and bewilderment. I cannot thank everyone that contributed in their own special way and created the fondest memories of a time well spent with my wife.The room was massive, I mean it was more than 16x16ft (and thats just the bedding area) there was a 14ft day bed area that was so comfortable that I couldnt escape and took a 30minute power nap. The bathroom and closet were spacious with a massive tub and all the amenities one could ask for and still some...The hotel staff, right from Radheshyam, Anamika, Isha, Chunni Lal were superb hosts and were always up for a hearty conversation when indulged and you could see their smiles peering through their masks with only one objective, to make sure our choice to be at Chunda Palace would seldom be a faded memory.The food was outstanding, right from breakfast, to In Room Dining, the food was just glorious. If you truly seek serenity, tranquility and simply want to succumb to the comfort of a beautiful city... Take my advice... The Chunda Palace will fit your budget, it will reek of luxury to the last drop and you will fill the rich heritage of the Mewar State blatantly evident in each staff as they smile back lovingly waiting to welcome you again as you bid your goodbyes as you depart. I promise you, you will nostalgic, you will want to return and at least once surrender to the beauty that is Chunda Palace Udaipur.

The hotel looks beautiful inside out.The check-in process was extremely smooth. The staff took all COVID-19 precautions throughout our stay. Every staff member always wore masks and they also provide masks in the room which is appreciated. Also since we reached hours before our check-in time, the management was kind enough to provide us the room before time.Coming to the rooms and the bathroom, they are sooo huge! I’m comparing it with Trident which is right outside chunda palace. With a cheaper cost, the rooms in chunda are almost double the size. The beds are huge and they also provide a third bed for 3-guest rooms. The bathroom was big and good. The rooms were beautiful.Coming to the property, it’s very well maintained. You can go the rooftop swimming pool or indoor pool to chill with your gang. They also offer a rooftop dining experience. They have a fireplace at the dining place during winters and also have live music. It offers one of the most peaceful dinners you can have.How can I forget the Lal Maas! I tried Lal Maas dish almost in 4-5 places in Udaipur but Chunda beats all of them. Probably the best Lal Maas is in Chunda Palace.The breakfast at the property is quite good. They offer varieties of food for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Two of waiters named “Chunilal” were extremely courteous and quick with their service. Thumbs on that.Overall I’m very satisfied with the stay compared to the price I paid. Definitely recommended

Such a splendid hotel!! Truly Rajasthani royal rooms. I must appreciate the marble art work in the rooms. This hotel has a beautiful, amazing rooftop with breath taking view of Lake Pichola. Their breakfast place is just so mesmerizing. Taking a deep breathe of fresh air with this blissful view and tasty buffet spread. Anyone would fall in love with it. I also dinned in their rooftop restaurant for candle light dinner. Such a mind blowing arrangement, live music performances and tasty food. I ordered kadai chicken, tandoori roti and Chicken biryani. Omg, all of it was so so so tasty. Flavors were melting in! Sheela and other staff management had the best hospitality.I must mention, beware in winters. These rooms are super duper cold and they dont have sufficiently big heaters to keep you warm. Thats the only downside. 😒
