Best place to buy handicrafts, souvenirs, wall hangings and miniature paintings at cheapest prices.Only place in udaipur which has prices marked on their product and does not do a scam with tourists.I went to buy just 1 item and instead bought 5 items 😊Amazing shop with wide range of varieties located in 300 years old building very near to bagore ki haveli and jagdish temple.

Went for just miniature paintings, came out with loads more, including an exquisite carved, distressed finished, with brass work, centre table! Spent nearly a whole day with d owners who are so humble n patient..cant wait for them to showcase more on Instagram so we can have more pieces shipped. D prices seemed really fair as mentioned outside their store. Our 2 year old enjoyed looking at their collection just as much as we did! Thank u for helping us add more beauty to our home :)

*A truly wholesome experience of buying art*Amazing collection at fair prices!Looking at the size of the shop I thought, it will be on the expensive side, but to my surprise, the prices were lower than the street vendors! You can buy really nice art at prices as low as 200.The owner is extremely helpful and honest, and interested in showing you the collection and providing a wholesome experience than just selling stuff.Will surely return for more in the next trip.

While having a stroll on our way to City Palace, we discovered this beautiful place, The Ashoka Arts!!Bought a beautiful marble chess set from here, it has been wonderful experience playing with marble chess set! Amazingly designed pieces✨Also, the art work is mind blowing, the most genuine art gallery I have come across in Udaipur.Kudos to Akshay ji and Ashokji, Thank you for creating beautiful masterpieces.

My family and I were so impressed with our experience at Ashoka Arts! All of the artists and sales associates made us feel extremely welcomed. Ali walked us through the whole co-op and showed us the incredible crafts made by over 75 artists. We truly felt that the pieces of art found in that store were one of a kind. On top of everything, my mother and I received a free tutorial on beautiful nail art. They painstakingly created incredibly detailed peacocks on each of our thumbs! This is a must see if you want an authentic experience in Udaipur and are seeking unique crafts!

Buying art over here is like living an experience. You buy the cheapest art or doesnt even matter if you buy but the owners make it a point to impart their knowledge and experience over to the art enthusiast as much as they can. They will make you relive the history of each and every art form you choose. They will tell you the history & stories. With over 6-7 decades of experience in art they have a collection that the can fill up the fort. We entered their store just to explore their art but we ended up spending 90 mins in listening and buying 3 miniature paintings.

We did a painting lesson with Ali and he was brilliant. Well worth a visit if youre in Udaipur. Great fun and you get to keep the paintings which we will be framing!

The artwork here is amazing. You cant help but admire every piece in the shelf. The prices are reasonable. You can even take miniature art classes for an hour or so for Rs.200 or Rs. 250.

Art class with Mr.Ali !Mr.Ali is an amazing teacher. It was great learning miniature art from him , he teaches with a lot of patience and in a great way .If your an art lover and your at Udaipur , this is a MUST try !

Honest and value art works. We met Ashok Meta the owner who honestly explained some of the dishonest information in art works being told by many other art shops. There are paint classes being conducted there as well.

I took a miniature painting art class with Ali, it was one of the highlights of my time in Udaipur. Ali is so patient and I had a really relaxing time.

I would recommend Ashoka Arts as the ONLY place in Udaipur for buying artwork and handicrafts. They had fair pricing unlike other shops, with miniature paintings beginning from Rs 50. It is actually an art school as well, and they conduct art classes for visitors too. I really wish we had discovered this shop earlier, before we were looted by other handicraft shops. They have prices printed on their products, and dont charge extra for foreigners (unlike most shops here) - they are very ethical. We entered at 10pm when they were closing, but Mr Akshay not only kept the shop open for the next 1.5hrs, but also explained the nature and variations of painting styles in great detail, and we could appreciate the art even more because of that. The best part is they were not aggressive or pushy in making us buy from them. They have a great collection of wall hangings, purses and cushion covers as well, all locally made. They also made sure we got transport to our hotel, when there were no Uber or Auto rickshaws available at that hour. We came with the intention of buying 1 painting, but left with at least 10 items :) Visiting Ashoka Arts was one of the highlights of our trip, and their hospitality is extremely appreciated!
