A good hotel near the lake in udaipur. Rooms are huge & well maintained. Service is a little slow. All the rooms dont face the lake and even the ones that do, view is nothing special. If u want a room with a view, try some other place near city palace or on the opposite bank of pichola lake.Restaurant is pure veg & the food was good. No alcohol though.

Had visited their for my anniversary celebration at lunch time, was very excited as i was visiting their for first time, view was just amazing from where i was sitting. The same day they were having a wedding at their rooftop which led to limited dishesh for me to munch on, initialy i was thinking about paying for my beer and leave as i dont wanted my special occasion to ruin, but courteousness of staff and taste of food helped me change my mind and i am happy that i didnt have to regret it later, ❤️ before leaving i was given a surprise of complimentary desert along with celebration clap and beats, it just made my day. A must visit place for food and happy moments.

A calm, serene atmosphere surrounded by beautiful panoramic view of the lake. The rooms are well maintained and it has a touch of old haveli charm. A hospitable and polite staff. The food available is varied and well cooked but a bit costly. I recommend continental.

The most important thing in a hotel stay is hospitality which is poor, it seems the hotel is under staffed. We arrived late evening close to 9 pm after a long journey and we were damn tired by the time we checked in. The reception is at first floor and you have to climb stairs to reach there, we were hoping there will be someone to assist us in carrying our luggage to our room but couldnt find one. Their excuse was you should have asked and we would have provided which shows their naivety in running this place. Breakfast spread is limited. The only good thing was that the rooms were spacious but the upholstery and stuff are not well maintained. Would not recommend this hotel for next two years as there is some construction work happening next to it and there is deafening noise throughout the day. In case you are planning to sleep during afternoon,forget about it

Dont know whether they are paying for such good reviews or what as seeing the reviews we visited the Place but it was just opposite to all the reviews and had a horrible experience.The place is good with decent ambiance but the food is totally opposite. We ordered hot chocolate which was totally horrible they poured hot milk in drinking chocolate like seriously who does that with hot chocolate which costs around 200 bucks, then we were served strawberry milkshake which was as thin as water but in menu it was classified under thick shakes section. Then came spaghetti garlic and mushroom sauce pasta with less quantity okayish taste but not worth the money. The Indian Delight Pizza was soo Yuck - could not even eat a single slice and was smelling horrible. Garlic bread and crunchy corn was Okayish but quantity wasnt sufficient. They charged Rs 80 for a Rs 15 glass bottle of Pepsi, at least they could have provide a can in that amount.It was the worst experience ever in Udaipur, these people show their best during food drives and such food events only just to attract customers but other than that its very disappointing.

Nice, but book only if you do not have other options. Very pricey for the quality offered. DO NOT book Family Room (#223 - its almost windowless and most of the bathroom fittings do not work properly). However rooms are big and hotel staff is good and very helpful.

The hotel has a view of a lake, thats the only positive thing about the hotel.Bedsheets have stains, breakfast isnt great. Food is average .. it wasnt value for money at least for me. Even though I was on a business trip alone.No markets close by , its one of the lakes that u can see from few rooms. Thats the only good thing .May be lower price or increasing basic hygine and services could potentially make this a good hotel.

The best room I have ever stayed. I think mistakenly or I got that room luckily. It was a villa. Such a big room with a private jacuzzi and a guest room. Clean, tidy and lake facing rooftop.

We had lunch in the restaurant. Food was yummy. Menu includes veg and egg option.

It was a pleasure visiting Brahma Nivas. Great service by the staff. Not to mention a special thanks for Arjun. It was wonderful experience. A must visit for all.Breakfast was wonderful and healthy. 5 star from my side.

One of the best pocket friendly hotel in udaipur. Loved their cafe- Aqua lounge. The only thing they dont have is a pool. Else everything is there.

Brahma Kamal a lake facing restaurant. It has closed as well as the open terrace dining option. We chose the open terrace with an amazing lake view. Ambience is colorful, classy and very appealing. Staff is courteous welcoming each guest with warm smile and knowledgeable. The food is finger licking good here. Do try my recommendations as I still cannot get over most of the dishes we tried here 🤤Reccomendations:1) Niwas touch - A speciality of this restaurant, different from any other welcome drink. Tabasco sauce was added to the drink making it taste a little spicy.2) Palak Papdi Chat - Crispy spinach leaves tossed with chutneys, curd and spices. This mouth watering appetizer is a must try.3) Dahi k shooley - Delish and creamy hung curd delight..4) Chena matar ki sikam puri- These kebabs are melt-in-your-mouth appetizers. Have them with green chutney and they taste 🤤5) Lotus stem honey chilli- If you love chinese food, then this is must try. They were perfectly crisp with good amount of sauces.6) Tandoori aloo k nakhre - Goes by the name, it has crunchy exterior and creamy interior. Its loaded starter.7) Mewari Paneer papad roll - Unique style roll, very crispy and perfect with spices.8) Cigar spring roll, Honey chilli potato and gold coin - All of them were served on a sizzling plate, hot and spicy. A big heartfelt thanks to Mr. Abhinanyu, Mr. Bheru Singh ji and team Bramha Kamal for hosting us.The venue is absolutely stunning. Walls are hand painted with soothing colors and designs, perfect for chit chat sessions with family and friends.We were welcomed with an amazingly refreshing mocktail niwas touch It had Tabasco sauce in it which gave the drink a hint of spice.We enjoyed every sip of it while taking tour of the property.Then we had dahi k soole which had stuffing of khoya and paneer, chena matar ki sikam poori, palak patta chaat, cigar spring rolls, lotus stem honey chilli, smoking hot oriental sizzler, tandoori aloo k nakhre.Everything was very unique in taste. Location is superb, rooms are excellent.However their service is poor. They could provide warm water in the morning and also the normal water in the bathroom was smelling smoky & plunger.The breakfast was ok.

Interior decoration is good. Early morning you cant get hot water for bath. Only two cars can park inside the premises. There is No lift to the rooms.

Awesome place to stay in such a huge rooms and bathrooms...... And the teastefully done interiors truly reflect essence of royalty of Rajasthan.... The only issue is that the reception is on first floor n i have to climb up atleast 20-30 odd steps to approach reception area as there no lift available from parking to reception so ever time u go out n come back you have to use steps which is difficult for older people..

Rroms are good, staff a bit less cooperative, TV channels not working, location is good, services can be better.
